Definitions
- the invention relates to a multi-roll stand with a plurality of lower and upper support rollers, each of which is supported flat with support saddles on parallel support shells in the upper and lower parts of the stand, each consisting of only two flat support surfaces arranged at an angle to one another.
- the support shells are designed in the form of a circular arc (DE-OS 16 25 556).
- the scaffolds are aligned and machined as in the operating state. This applies to both a one-piece and a two-piece scaffold, the two parts of which are connected to one another via four columns.
- the disadvantage of such a multi-roll stand is that the manufacturing outlay is high. A correction of manufacturing errors is hardly possible or only with great effort.
- receiving spaces are provided at the location of the circular-arc-shaped shells with a flat, flat floor and walls perpendicular to one another and parallel to one another.
- the entire support force is transferred from each set of support saddles to the flat floor, while the side walls only serve to guide the support saddles.
- each support saddle is assigned only two flat support surfaces which are angled with respect to one another. If several support saddles are to be supported, the support surfaces form a staircase. In this case, too, it is necessary to manufacture the support surfaces with dimensional tolerances. A subsequent correction of the support surfaces is not planned.
- the invention is based on the object To create multi-roll stand that can be manufactured with little manufacturing effort and can be corrected with little effort in the manufacturing tolerances on the support surfaces.
- the flat surfaces should be arranged in a step-like manner.
- support surfaces assigned to a set of support saddles should be arranged at right angles to one another.
- the stand of a multi-roll stand shown in FIG. 1 consists of an upper stand part 1 and a lower stand part 2.
- the two stand parts 1, 2 are connected to one another via 4 columns 3-6.
- Support shells 7-14 running parallel to each other are worked into both the upper part 1 of the frame and the lower part 2 of the frame.
- the suitable for the scaffold upper and lower scaffold part 1.2 support saddles according to Figures 3 and 4 each consist of a bearing disc 19 which is arranged between the individual sections of a support roller and in which the support roller axis is mounted, and a foot 20 with two under support surfaces 20a, 20b arranged at right angles to one another.
- the foot is supported with its support surfaces 20a, 20b on the flat support surfaces 16a, 16b, 17a, 17b, 17c, 18a, 18b of the corresponding scaffolding part 2 and 1 respectively.
