Rastrampen der Türhaltestange anliegen.
Abgesehen davon, daß eine solche Bauart von Türfeststellern nur in Verbindung mit einer doppelseitig mit Brems- oder Rastmarken bildenden Erhebungen versehenen Türhaltestange und dementsprechend auch zur Tüthaltestange symetrisch angeordneten und einzeln federbeaufschlagten Bremskörpern anwendbar ist, ist die Verwendung von Gummifedern zur Belastung der Bremskörper grundsätzlich mit dem Nachteil behaftet, daß Gummifedern stets temperaturabhängig sind, d.h. daß sich die Anpresskraft der Bremskörper an die Türhaltestange entsprechend der Erwärmung bzw. der Abkühlung der Gummifedern ändert, woraus naturgemäß erhebliche Schwankungen in der Brems- bzw.Haltekraft des Türfeststellers resultieren. Eine exakte Festlegung des Haltepunktes bzw. des jeweils zugelassenen Öffnungswinkels der Fahrzeugtür ist daher auch bei dieser Ausbildung eines Türfeststellers grundsätzlich nicht möglich.

Ferner ist der Bremskörper 8 reibungsarm und daher leicht drehbar lediglich über stegförmige Lagerflächenabschnitte im Halter 7 gelagert. Im Haltergehäuse 1 ist ferner ein zweiter Halter 12 angeordnet, der ebenfalls durch einen Kunststoffmaterialblock gebildet und um eine Achse 13 schwenkbar an den Lagerstegen 3 des Haltergehäuses 1 aufgehängt ist. Bezüglich der Aufnahme und Lagerung einer Stahlnadel 14 ist der zweite Halter 12 ebenso gestaltet, wie der erste Halter 7. Wie im Übrigen auch bei allen weiteren gezeigten Ausgestaltungsformen weist die im schwenkbar aufgehängten Halter 12 angeordnete Stahlnadel 14 einen geringen Durchmesser auf und ist über lediglich stegförmige Lagerflächen gegen den Halter 12 abgestützt. In seinem oberen Bereich weist der Halter 12 eine Durchgangsbohrung 15 für die Achse 13 auf, wobei die Achse 13, wie insbesondere aus der Figur 2 ersichtlich durch einen Spannstift 16 gebildet ist. Bei dem in den Figuren 1 bis 9 dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel ist der Bremskörper 8ebenso wie die Stahlnadel 14 walzenförmig mit geringem Durchmesser ausgebildet und leicht drehbar im den Haltern 7 aufgenommen. Der Abstand zwischen der Rotationsachse 17 der Stahlnadel 14 und der Schwenklagerachse 13 des Halters 12 beträgt, wie aus der Figur 1 ersichtlich ein mehrfaches des Durchmessers der Stahlnadel 14. Der schwenkbar im Haltergehäuse 1 gelagerte Halter 12 ist durch eine Wickelfeder belastet, wobei die Windungen 18 der Wickelfeder konzentrisch zur Aufhängeachse 13 des Halters 12 angeordnet sind und der Belastungsarm 19 der Wicklelfeder am Rücken 20 des Halters 12 in einer solchen Lage angreift, daß die Federkraft tangential zum Umfang der Stahlnadel 14 gerichtet ist. Die Türhaltestange 2 weist hier beidseitig Bremsrampen 21 und 22 sowie Rastmarken 23 und 24 auf. Zur Erzeugung eines exakt wirkenden Haltepunktes des Türfeststellers ist hierbei weiterhin vorgesehen, daß an der Türhaltestange 52 dem tiefsten Punkt der Rastmarke 54 gegenüberliegend eine Vertiefung 59 bzw. eine Ausnehmung angeordnet ist, mit der die im schwenkbaren Halter 12 angeordnete Stahlnadel 55 zusammenwirkt und deren Profilquerschnitt dem Profilquerschnitt der Stahlnadel 55 entspricht. In Verbindung mit dieser Ausbildung der Türhaltestange 62 ist die im schwenkbaren Halter 12 angeordnete Stahlnadel 67 dreiteilig ausgebildet, derart, daß die Stahlnadel 67 aus insgesamt drei walzenförmigen Längenabschnitten 140 besteht, die um eine gemeinsame Achse rotierend im Halter 12 aufgenommen sind. Der mit der glattflächigen Rückseite 68 der Türhaltestange 62 zusammenwirkende Bremskörper 69 dient als Widerlager für die Türhaltestange und ist als Walze mit verhältnismäßig großem Durchmesser ausgebildet sowie um eine feststehende Achse 70 drehbar in den Lagerstegen 3 des Haltergehäuses 1 gelagert. Claims (11)

  1. A motor vehicle door stay consisting of a support member housing (1) rigidly mounted on a door arrangement part, door or door column, and traversing said housing and articulated on the other door arrangement part to pivot about an axis parallel with the axis of the door hinge and provided on at least one of two of its oppositely disposed surfaces with braking and catch markings (21, 22, 33, 34, 43, 44), a door-retaining bar (2) and, cooperating with the door-retaining bar (2) and particularly the braking or catch marks (21, 22, 33, 34, 43, 44) on the door-retaining bar (2), two braking members (8 and 12) formed by rolling-type anti-friction bodies, one of which serves as an abutment to pivot about a spindle (38) disposed rigidly in the support member housing (1) while its other is housed and mounted in a synthetic plastics material support member (12) disposed in the support member housing (1) and pivotable substantially crosswise to the plane of movement of the door-retaining member (2) against a spring loading, the pivot bearing spindle (13) of the pivotable support member (12) being disposed at a distance from its axis of rotation which corresponds to a multiple of the diameter of the braking member (14, 140), characterised in that at least the braking member (14) accommodated in the support member (12) which is adapted for movement against a spring loading crosswise to the plane of movement of the door-retaining bar (2) is formed by a steel pin (14) mounted in the support member (12) directly via web-like bearing surface portions.
  2. A motor vehicle door stay according to Claim 1, characterised in that the pivotally movable support member (12) is suspended on a pivot bearing spindle (13) disposed rigidly in the support member housing (1) and is loaded by a metal spring (18, 19 or 80), whereby the loading spring associated therewith engages the pivotable support member (12) tangentially in relation to the periphery of the steel pin (14) mounted in it.
  3. A motor vehicle door stay according to Claim 1 and 2, characterised in that the spring biasing the pivotally movable support member (12) is formed by a volute buffer spring supported by bracing arms in respect of the support member housing (1) and engaging it via a central loading arm (19), the turns (18) of which are disposed concentrically of the bearing spindle (13) of the pivotable support member (12).
  4. A motor vehicle door stay according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that as an abutment for the door-retaining bar (2), a braking member (8) mounted on the support member housing (1) and adapted to rotate about a fixed spindle (38) or accommodated in the fixed support member (7) is of greater diameter and is associated with the steel pin (14) housed in the pivotally movable support member (12).
  5. A motor vehicle door stay according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the door-retaining bar (2) is formed from a prepared blank of flat material having braking or catch ramps (21, 22) disposed on one side.
  6. A motor vehicle door stay according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that a steel pin (14) mounted in the pivotable support member (12) or portions (140) of the length of a three-part steel pin cooperate with a door-retaining bar (52) formed by a portion of round stock, the door-retaining bar (52) being shaped crosswise to its longitudinal axis in order to form braking or catch marks (53, 54), whereby a braking or abutment member is provided with a groove-like peripheral depression (58) as a guide for the door-retaining bar (52) and cooperates with the door-retaining bar (52) which is formed from round stock, being constructed as a roller or cylinder (56) and mounted in the rigidly disposed support member or in the support member housing (1) via a fixed spindle (57).
  7. A motor vehicle door stay according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterised in that in the case of a door-retaining bar (62) formed from a prepared blank of flat material and having raised portions or depressions on both sides to form braking or catch markings (63, 64), there is in at least one of the raised portions forming braking or catch markings (63, 64) on the door-retaining bar (62) an additional depression (66) corresponding to the diameter of the steel pin (14) or of one of three length portions (140) of a steel pin.
  8. A motor vehicle door stay according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the raised portions forming the braking or catch marks (33, 34) on the door-retaining bar (32) are made by strip-like outwardly formed shapes which, when viewed in plan, are parallel with one another, the additional recess or depression being disposed in only one of these strip-like outwardly shaped portions.
  9. A motor vehicle door stay according to Claim 8, characterised in that the additional recess or depression in one-piece raised portions forming braking or catch marks on the door-retaining bar is restricted to the bearing width of one length portion (140) of a steel needle which is divided into altogether three length portions (140).
  10. A motor vehicle door stay according to Claim 1, characterised in that the loading arm (82) of a U-shaped or S-shaped torsion-bar spring (80) biased via a bracing arm (81) particularly on the bearing webs (3) of the support member housing (1) is associated with the loading of the support member (12) which is pivotally suspended in the support member housing (1).
  11. A motor vehicle door stay according to Claim 10, characterised in that the bracing arm (81) of the torsion-bar spring (80), fixed on the bearing webs (3) of the support member housing (1) constitutes at the same time the spindle mounting the pivotable support member (12).
