Claims (11)

  1. Service hatch insertable in doors or walls, with a frame (1) insertable in an opening of a door or of a wall and a closing part (2) connected thereto and incorporating a service opening, characterised in that the closing part (2) has a shock-proof, transparent panel (18), a fixing slot (6) for fixing one edge of this panel (18) and, on the opposite edge of the panel (18), a hinged handle (11) which can be turned around a turning axle (9) parallel to the two edges, said handle bearing a support rod (12) at a distance from the turning axle (9), on which support rod a hinged connection element (16) connected to the neighbouring edge of the panel (18) is located.
  2. Service hatch in accordance with Claim 1, characterised in that the fixing slot (6) is located in the upper section of the closing part and the turning axle (9) in the lower section of the closing part (2).
  3. Service hatch in accordance with Claims 1 or 2, characterised in that two stops (14, 15) are provided in the closing part (2), to limit the path of movement of the support rod (12), said stops (14, 15) defining the highest and lowest position of the support rod (12).
  4. Service hatch in accordance with one of the preceding Claims, characterised in that the handle (11) possesses two parallel side-pieces (10) and a handlebar (20) held by the side-pieces (10), with the turning axle (9) and the support rod (12) being installed on bearings in the side-pieces (10).
  5. Service hatch in accordance with one of the preceding Claims, characterised in that the handle (11) is provided with at least one releasable locking bolt (21) which slots into the closing part (2) for the purpose of locking the position of the handle (11).
  6. Service hatch in accordance with Claim 5, characterised in that the locking bolt (21) or locking bolts is/are fixed to a side-piece or to both side-pieces (10) of the handle (11).
  7. Service hatch in accordance with Claim 5 or 6, characterised in that each locking bolt (21) is springloaded in the direction of its locked position.
  8. Service hatch in accordance with one of Claims 5 to 7, characterised in that each locking bolt (21) is provided with a release lever (24).
  9. Service hatch in accordance with one of Claims 5 to 7, characterised in that the locking bolts (21) are provided with one joint release lever.
  10. Service hatch in accordance with one of the preceding Claims, characterised in that the handle (11) forms a rest for the panel (18) when the latter is open.
  11. Service hatch in accordance with one of the preceding Claims, characterised in that it has a hinged, non-transparent closing panel (27) which is supported on the closing part (2) and which covers the service opening.
