Definitions

  • the invention relates to a stacking element, in particular for the formation of shelf walls or the like, with a, preferably rectangular, bottom, a rear wall having a latching device and at least two side walls.
  • Stacking elements of the aforementioned type are mainly used as a collecting container for small materials.
  • a collecting container for loose documents with the features mentioned above in which the locking device provided on the rear wall serves to od a plurality of collecting containers with a on a shelf.
  • the locking device provided on the rear wall serves to od a plurality of collecting containers with a on a shelf.
  • the latching device serves for the fact that several containers lined up on a shelf can be locked in alignment with one another.
  • shelves or the like are also required to accommodate the load.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of creating a shelving system from known stacking elements described above To design and develop that is achieved in a simple manner that the aforementioned disadvantages are avoided and the area of use of the stacking elements is improved in the broadest sense.
  • This object is achieved in the shelving system consisting of stacking elements according to the invention in that the rear wall of the stacking element consists of a lower and an upper wall element, which are arranged offset to one another such that an insertion slot for receiving as a locking device between the rear edge of the floor and the lower wall element of the upper wall element, formed as a tongue in this area, of a further stack element.
  • the configuration described above achieves a universal usability of the stacking elements according to the invention. It is essential with these stacking elements that the individual rear walls partially overlap and can be plugged into one another. In this way, several stacking elements according to the invention can be arranged one above the other to form a shelf or the like, without the need for additional connecting, stiffening, carrying or holding means. It quickly becomes apparent that the inventive design of the stacking element creates a self-supporting shelf which can be used on a wall, freely in the room, as a column or as a room divider. Another advantage of the stacking element according to the invention is its expandability. According to the invention, it is possible to extend a shelf consisting of several stacking elements at any time in height and also in width. At least when the floor is loaded, each individual stacking element according to the invention has an advantageous clamping effect between the rear edge of the floor and the lower wall element.
  • stacking element according to the invention it is, for example, conceivable to stack the stacking element according to the invention in to produce different sizes, so that an existing space on the wall or the like can be completely filled with stacking elements.
  • the stacking element 1 shows a first stacking element 1 according to the invention in a perspective view. It can be seen that the stacking element 1 consists of five basic elements: a base 2 is connected to a rear wall 3 via two side walls 4, the rear wall 3 consisting of a lower wall element 5 and an upper wall element 6. The staggered arrangement of both wall elements 5 and 6 according to the invention creates an insertion slot 7 between the rear edge K of the base 2 and the lower wall element 5 for receiving an upper wall element 6, which is designed as a tongue 8 in this area. It is easy to see that the stacking element 1 according to the invention can also be arranged on other supporting elements such as vertically standing boards of corresponding thickness or several, horizontally running and superimposed strips, rods, pipes or the like. For shelf constructions extending from the stacking elements according to the invention to the floor, it is particularly expedient to provide a base with a rear wall designed as a tongue, as will be explained further below.
  • the width of the insertion slot 7 corresponds to essentially the thickness of the tongue 8 of the upper wall element 6.
  • the insertion slot 7 expediently extends over the full width of the stacking element 1, as can be clearly seen from FIG. 1. In this way it is possible to stack a plurality of stacking elements 1 of the same height according to the invention, also offset, one above the other. Such an arrangement is shown in Fig. 2.
  • the clear height between two stacking elements 1 stacked on top of one another corresponds to the width of a stacking element 1.
  • the floor - preferably - is of square design
  • a shelf wall with any number of "cube elements" can be created by simply stacking one on top of the other.
  • Such cube elements can be easily produced in different sizes and adapted to the preferred dimensions (file folder, record or book height).
  • the width of the insertion slot 7 or the tongue 8 it is even possible to create shelf walls with an increasing depth and / or width of the individual stacking elements. This will be explained in more detail below.
  • the side walls 4 in this first embodiment are trapezoidal, the upper edge of a side wall 4 being formed by the longer base line G of the trapezoid.
  • the upper edges of the side walls do not have any load-bearing functions, which gives a shelf wall composed of such “open” stacking elements 1 according to the invention a particularly appealing overall visual impression.
  • each side wall from a plurality of side wall arms which are connected to one another in an articulated manner, the desired inclination of the floor being able to be achieved, for example, by means of a bracket which fixes the position of both side wall arms.
  • Figures 3 to 5 show the stacking element 1 according to the invention in a three-sided view. 5 that each side wall 4 corresponds to an isosceles trapezoid, the longer base line G of which corresponds to the length of the diagonals D of the base 2 according to a further embodiment of the invention. If the height H of the trapezoid corresponds to a quarter of the diagonal D of the square bottom 2, the length of the trapezoidal legs is exactly half the depth or (visible) height of a stacking element 1. Such an embodiment is particularly useful if - how already mentioned - for easier production, both wall elements 5 and 6 have the same geometric dimensions.
  • brackets 9 are provided, as indicated by dash-dotted lines in FIG. 5.
  • the side walls 4 are flush with the side edges of the base 2 and the rear wall 3. This is particularly evident from FIGS. 3 and 4 forth.
  • the stacked elements 1 according to the invention also have a completely flat surface on the side.
  • this embodiment of a stacking element 1 according to the invention enables the side walls 4 to be used in addition for load support, in that the upper edge thereof serves as support for the underside of the lower wall element 5 of an upstream stacking element 1; the same applies to the lower edges of the side walls.
  • this is not absolutely necessary for sufficient stability of the arrangement of a plurality of stacking elements 1 according to the invention.
  • the tongue 8 of the upper wall element 6 of a stacking element 1 is expediently of such a size that its upper edge lies against the lower edge of the upper wall element 6 of a next higher stacking element when stacking elements 1 are stacked on top of one another. But it is also conceivable that a separate connecting part is used as the tongue. This is the case, for example, if the stacking elements 1 according to the invention are to be arranged on a base, pedestal or the like. It is clear that the side walls and rear walls can be provided with slots, recesses or the like in order to save material and weight, as long as their arrangement ensures sufficient overall stability.
  • the side walls from the "conventional" furniture production can have rows of holes known per se for receiving support pins for further shelves. It is also possible that for further subdivision of the stacking element 1 additional vertical and / or horizontal Walls 4 'or floors 2' are provided. In Fig. 6 it is shown that between drawer 2 and a further shelf 2 'two drawer elements 10 are provided. Adapted to the shape of the stacking element 1, each drawer element 10 also has an inclined front. It is also conceivable to provide a stacking element with doors, flaps or the like.
  • the present invention is not only limited to shelving systems which are arranged in one plane, but it is also possible for the side walls 4 to be arranged at an angle. form the rear wall to each other and consist of corresponding wall elements 5 and 6.
  • Correspondingly offset side walls 4 fulfill the function described above for the rear walls 3, 5, 6. It is easy to see that the combination of several corner stacking elements 1 'allows free-standing "columns" to be formed, which are used particularly expediently at trade fairs or exhibitions.
  • the depth of a stacking element 1 or 1A compared to a second stacking element 1A or 1B located underneath is at least reduced by the thickness of the rear wall 3, as can be seen from FIG. 8, in which five differently sized according to the invention Stack elements are shown (of which - just as in FIG. 9 - only the uppermost three stack elements 1, 1A and 1B are provided with reference numerals for the sake of simplicity).
  • Stack elements are shown (of which - just as in FIG. 9 - only the uppermost three stack elements 1, 1A and 1B are provided with reference numerals for the sake of simplicity).
  • the side walls 4, 4A, 4B etc. are essentially rectangular and taper upwards in the region of their front edges V. From Fig.
  • the width of a stacking element 1 or 1A is reduced by at least twice the thickness of a side wall 4, 4A, 4B etc. compared to a stacking element 1A or 1B located underneath is, this is particularly advantageous with regard to the stackability of the individual stack elements 1, 1A, 1B etc. for storage and transport purposes.
  • all stacking elements 1, 1A, 1B etc. can be placed one inside the other, so that only the space for the largest stacking element is required for a complete shelf.
  • a base element 11 is provided as a receptacle for a plurality of stacking elements 1, 1A, 1B, etc., which form a high rack.
  • a base element 11 is preferably provided with a base wall element 6S designed as a tongue and expediently corresponds in its dimensions (width, depth) to the lowest stacking element.
  • a base wall element 6S designed as a tongue and expediently corresponds in its dimensions (width, depth) to the lowest stacking element.
  • the upper and lower wall elements 6 and 5 of the rear wall 3 are also formed in one piece.
  • wood is used as the material for the stacking element.
  • any materials such as plastic, sheet metal and even cardboard can be used for the stacking element according to the invention.
  • the possibilities of combining them with one another as well as with additional elements are so diverse that the stacking element according to the invention covers an almost unlimited area of application.
  • the side walls and the rear wall could consist of curved cylinder segment shells.
  • Such a configuration is particularly important for a one-piece production of stacking elements - for example in the injection molding process from plastic.
