  • the volume constituted by the central chambers 18b, the various conduits 33, 35, 23 and the space comprised between the underside of the upper base 1 and the rear plate 7, a space almost completely filled by the protection 9 and the covering sheet 8, constitutes a perfectly sealed environment thanks to the plug 31 provided with the seal 32, and the fact that the protection 9 and the setting sheet 8 are subjected, all along their superimposed periphery between the rear sheet 7 and the upper base 1, to a compression such that any penetration of air from the outside to the inside the central chambers 18b is made impossible.
  • the present invention makes judicious use of the large chambers already existing in the upper bed base 1 of the press. Without significant modifications and, so to speak, without the addition of new elements, therefore at very little cost, the problem of the harmful deflection of the tool 3 is resolved.
  • the cleaning of the latter would not present any difficulty; in fact, access, via the upper openings 30 of the chambers 18b, is always easy, because the plugs 31 with seal 32 can be simply removed by hand when the chambers 18b are not under vacuum.
  • the seals 32 also have the effect of preventing the plugs 31 from vibrating in their seat.
  • the auxiliary attachment method by suction does not interfere with the placing operation. Indeed, if a conduit 23 falls exactly in front of a setting paper 10, it is possible not to use this conduit 23, that is to say not to make a corresponding opening 24 in the sheet of stake 8, since there are still enough other conduits 23 available.
  • each of the central vacuum chambers 18b is provided with at least two conduits 23 so as to have, in all probability, enough conduits available. In the case where the form 6 does not occupy the entire surface of the rear plate 7, the holes for fixing screw 19 located outside of the form 6 will be closed using an adhesive paper.
  • the conduits 23 made at the bottom of the central chambers 18b could have yet another function.
  • the air pressure curve in the films (or pockets) of air described above and located between the rear sheet 7 and the underside of the upper base 1 at the level of the sheet protection 9 and the bet sheet 8 has a shape similar to that in bell of the cutting operation, that is to say that at the moment when the lower movable bed base 2 begins to descend, this curve no longer follows that in bell but almost descends in a vertical. It is at this precise moment that the phenomenon of strong relaxation takes place which causes the phenomenon in question of condensation of the air trapped in the films of air. To avoid this expansion, a first obvious solution is obviously to try to prevent the pressurization of this air.
