Claims (12)

  1. Procédé pour le décalaminage de barres d'acier rondes (S), en particulier des barres d'acier laminées à chaud, suivant lequel un groupe de barres d'acier (S) est soulevé d'un bloc, est déplacé horizontalement tout en maintenant les positions relatives mutuelles des barres, est déposé sur un train de rouleaux (13) et, à l'aide de ce train de rouleaux (13), est transporté à travers un dispositif de décalaminage (14), caractérisé par le fait qu'on laisse tomber les barres d'acier (S), les unes après les autres, en respectant une distance transversale choisie entre elles, sur un dispositif d'avancement (5) en mouvement continu dans le sens transversal des barres et que, parmi ces barres d'acier (S) progressant de manière continue, on soulève le groupe de barres (S) et, après le déplacement horizontal sur le train de rouleaux (13) dans le sens longitudinal des barres, tout en maintenant les positions relatives prédéterminées des barres (S), on transfère ce groupe, guidé par épousement de forme, au dispositif de décalaminage (14) dans lequel les barres (S) sont décalaminées en substance sur l'ensemble de leur périphérie.
  2. Procédé suivant la revendication 1, caractérisé par le fait que les barres (S), après leur mise en place sur le dispositif d'avancement (5), sont orientées dans leur sens transversal et, de préférence, également dans leur sens longitudinal.
  3. Installation pour la mise en oeuvre du procédé suivant la revendication 1 ou 2, comprenant un dispositif d'alimentation (3) pour des barres d'acier rondes (S) et un dispositif (5) prévu en aval de celui-ci pour faire avancer les barres (S) à distance transversale les unes des autres, des peignes transporteurs (10) qui sont disposés déplaçables en hauteur sur un chariot transporteur (9) pour enlever, en les soulevant, des groupes de barres du dispositif d'avancement (5), un dispositif (13) pour recevoir les barres (S) des peignes transporteurs (10) et pour transférer ces barres (S) dans leur sens longitudinal à un dispositif de décalaminage (14), et un dispositif de commande pour le dispositif d'avancement (5), les peignes transporteurs (10) et le dispositif de transfert (13), caractérisée par le fait que, au-dessus du dispositif d'avancement (5), à son extrémité de réception des barres, est installé un dispositif de distribution (4) alimenté par le dispositif d'alimentation (3) disposé latéralement ; par le fait que le dispositif (4) de distribution de barres comporte au moins un conduit de déchargement pivotant (20) destiné à recevoir chaque fois une barre (S), et un canal de déchargement (K) ouvert en direction du dispositif d'avancement (5), le mouvement de pivotement (P₁₀) du conduit de déchargement (20) pouvant être synchronisé à l'aide du dispositif de commande, avec le mouvement de transport (P₃) du dispositif d'avancement (5), d'une manière telle que les barres (S) puissent être déposées sur le dispositif d'avancement (5) à une distance transversale choisie ; et par le fait qu'en aval du dispositif de transfert (13), est prévu un dispositif de guidage (18) pour l'introduction guidée par épousement de forme des barres (S) dans le dispositif de décalaminage (14).
  4. Installation suivant la revendication 3, caractérisée par le fait que le dispositif d'avancement (5) comporte plusieurs unités parallèles de transport sans fin (6).
  5. Installation suivant la revendication 3 ou 4, caractérisée par le fait que les peignes transporteurs (10), pouvant être insérés entre les unités de transport (6) du dispositif d'avancement (5), sont espacés de distances mutuelles différentes.
  6. Installation suivant l'une quelconque des revendications 3 à 5, caractérisée par le fait que la surface (10') des peignes transporteurs (10) est rendue rugueuse, de préférence rainurée.
  7. Installation suivant l'une quelconque des revendications 3 à 6, caractérisée par le fait que le dispositif de transfert a la forme d'un train de rouleaux (13) composé de plusieurs rouleaux pouvant être entraînés, qui peut être traversé par les peignes transporteurs (10) pour le transfert des barres.
  8. Installation suivant l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 7, caractérisée par le fait que le dispositif de guidage est formé par un rouleau inférieur (18) dont la surface (18') est rendue rugueuse, de préférence rainurée, et par un rouleau presseur supérieur (19) qui peut être serré contre le rouleau inférieur.
  9. Installation suivant l'une quelconque des revendications 3 à 8, caractérisée par le fait que le canal de déchargement (K) du dispositif de distribution (4) se termine à proximité du dispositif d'avancement (5) et peut être fermé, dans le sens de transport (P₃) du dispositif d'avancement, à l'aide d'une butée (22) déplaçable en hauteur et pouvant être actionnée sous la commande d'un dispositif de positionnement (21).
  10. Installation suivant l'une quelconque des revendications 3 à 9, caractérisée par le fait qu'à l'extrémité du dispositif d'avancement (5) tournée à l'opposé du canal de déchargement (K), est prévu un détecteur de position d'extrémité (11) commandant le mouvement de soulèvement (P₅) des peignes transporteurs (10).
  11. Installation suivant l'une quelconque des revendications 3 à 10, caractérisée par le fait qu'en amont du dispositif d'alimentation (3), est prévu un dispositif de stockage (1) comprenant deux magasins (1', 1'') pour des barres d'acier préalablement coupées à longueur, et pouvant être déplacé dans le sens transversal des barres, le dispositif d'alimentation (3) comprenant de préférence un dispositif de coupe.
  12. Installation suivant l'une quelconque des revendications 3 à 10, caractérisée par le fait qu'en amont du dispositif d'alimentation (3), est prévu un dispositif de stockage (1) comprenant au moins un tambour d'alimentation d'acier en barre ronde, suivi d'un dispositif redresseur, le dispositif d'alimentation (3) comprenant un dispositif de coupe.
