- loosening elements 26 are arranged below the shaft sections 11, 12 forming the inlet openings on the shafts 15, 16 together with conveying elements not shown in the drawing. Lumps of material are broken up by the loosening elements 26, so that continuous conveying through the conveying elements can take place from this loosening area 27 into the metering area 23.
- a mixing chamber 28 is provided between the intermediate wall 18 and the end wall 19, the length of which defines the mixing region 29.
- a water supply line 30 with an upstream flow regulator 31 opens into this mixing chamber 28, which is only indicated schematically in the drawing.
