Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing a tamper-evident device on a tube 1. The breakable neck extension 3 on the neck 2 of a tube 1 is riveted to the edge 7 of a sleeve section of the cap 5, as shown at 8. After breaking off the neck extension 3 to use the tube 1, the cap 5 can be put back on, but this plug-in connection is so loose that the cap detaches itself from the neck 2 when the tube 1 is gripped again, indicating the use that has already taken place .

Description

The invention relates to a method for producing an original shear on a tube for liquid, pasty or powdery material, in particular medicinal products, on the neck of which is formed a breakable neck extension which closes off an outlet opening and which engages in a force-fitting or form-fitting manner with an attached cap, and a tube for liquid, pasty or powdery material, in particular pharmaceuticals, on the neck of which a breakable neck extension is formed, which closes off an outlet opening and which engages in a force-fitting or form-fitting manner with an attached cap.

From DE-PS 26 53 993 a container with a breakable closure for receiving and metered delivery of liquid, pasty or powdery material, for example pharmaceuticals, is known. In the known container, at the front end of the container neck, a neck extension that can be broken off at a pre-formed, deeply arranged predetermined breaking point is formed in a tightly sealing overlap of the outlet opening. In addition, a cap that can be placed on the front end of the neck is provided. After the first use, this container can be closed again with the cap, which is held onto the container either by means of a locking engagement or a press fit. The manipulation of a second or subsequent opening and the amount of force required are the same as for the first opening, so that the user cannot determine whether the container is still originally sealed.

When certain materials, in particular medicinal products, are removed from containers, tamper-proof is often required, i.e. a clear indication to the user that the container has not yet been opened is required.

The invention has for its object to provide a simple tamper evidence for tubes of the type described above.

According to the invention, this object is achieved by the method for producing a tamper-evident device on a tube for liquid, pasty or powdery material, in particular medicinal products, on the neck of which a molded-on neck extension, which closes off an outlet opening, is integrally formed and which engages in a force-fitting or form-fitting manner with an attached cap , which is characterized in that after filling and closing the tube
  • 1. a section (4) of the cervical process (3) or an extension formed on this through an opening (6) formed in the cap (5) and
  • 2. is deformed to form a flange (8) overlapping the edge (7) of the opening (6),
and the tube for liquid, pasty or powdery material, in particular medicinal products, on the neck of which is formed a breakable neck extension which closes off an outlet opening and which engages non-positively or positively with an attached cap, which is characterized in that
  • 1. the cap (5) in the end face an opening (6) and
  • 2. the neck extension (3) has a section (4) or extension projecting from the opening (6) of the attached cap (5),
solved.

The method according to the invention advantageously creates a positive connection between the neck of the tube and the cap attached to it. It is only necessary to form an opening on the face of the cap, i.e. to open the previously closed sleeve section of the cap, which receives the neck extension in a force-fitting or positive manner, and to guide a section of the neck extension or an attachment formed on the neck extension through the opening thus created. This section or extension is then deformed to form a flange that overlaps the edge of the opening. In this way, a positive connection is made in the manner of a riveted connection.

If the tube is opened by breaking off the neck extension, the cap can be put back on the neck of the tube, but it immediately falls off the tube when it is gripped, so that the user can see that this tube has already been opened.

A tube is advantageously used to carry out the method, the cap of which has an opening in the end face. The sleeve section of the cap that receives the neck extension in a non-positive or positive manner is designed as a sleeve that is open on both sides. The neck extension has a section or extension protruding from this opening of the attached cap. In one embodiment, the neck process is longer forms as the receiving sleeve portion on the cap. In another embodiment, a nipple-like extension is formed on the neck extension, which extends through the opening of the attached cap.

It is particularly advantageous to apply the method according to the invention to tubes whose neck is designed as a rectal cannula. It is particularly advantageous for these tubes to have a tube body made of a laminate, in particular an Al / PE laminate, and a molded or inserted neck.

  • Fig. 1 eine schematische Schnittansicht einer Tube,
  • Fig. 2 eine schematische Schnittansicht einer Kappe,
An embodiment of the invention will be explained with reference to the figures of the drawing. Show it:
  • 1 is a schematic sectional view of a tube,
  • 2 is a schematic sectional view of a cap,
  • Fig. 3 is a sectional view of a tube with a cap attached, in which a part of the neck process has broken away
    and
  • Fig. 4 is a tube with the tamper-evident device according to the invention.

A tube 1 is shown in FIG. 1. This tube 1 consists of a laminate, in particular an Al / PE laminate. In the illustrated embodiment, a neck 2 is inserted into this tube. This neck 2 is designed as a rectal cannula.

A neck extension 3 is formed on the neck 2 to form a predetermined breaking point 9. This neck extension 3 closes the mouth opening of the neck 2. The neck extension 3 has teeth 10 formed on its circumference.

In Fig. 2 ist eine Kappe 5 neben der in Fig. 1 dargestellten Tube 1 relative zu dieser in einer Höhenlage dargestellt, die diese Kappe 5 im, auf die Tube 1 aufgesteckten Zustand einnimmt.FIG. 2 shows a cap 5 next to the tube 1 shown in FIG. 1, relative to the tube 1 at a height, which cap 5 takes up when the tube 1 is plugged on.

The cap 5 has a sleeve section 11 in which an internal toothing 12 is formed. If, as shown in FIG. 3, the cap 5 is attached to the neck 2 of the tube 1, the section 4 of the neck extension 3 shown in FIG. 1 protrudes from the opening 6 of the sleeve section 11. When the cap 5 is placed on the neck 2, the toothings 10 and 12 come into engagement with one another, so that a positive, non-rotatable connection is created.

The flange 8 shown in FIG. 4 is formed by a deformation of the section 4 of the neck extension 3 shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, which overlaps the edge 7 at the opening 6 or on the sleeve section 11. In this way, a rivet-like connection between the cap 5 and the neck 2 or the neck extension 3 is produced. This rivet-like connection ensures on the one hand a secure fit of the cap 5 on the tube 1 as long as the tube 1 is originally closed. On the other hand, this rivet connection makes it possible to design the seat of the cap 5 on the neck 2 so loosely that after breaking open the tube by unscrewing the neck extension 3, the cap 5 can be put back on the neck so loosely that it can be found at an attempted reuse immediately detaches from the tube 1 and indicates to the user that the tube 1 has already been opened.
