Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Herstellen von maßhaltigen Preßlingen aus pulver­ förmigen Massen, insbesondere aus Metallpulver, auf einer Presse in einer Matrize unter Einwirkung mindestens je eines Unter- und eines Oberstempels, wobei die Lage der die Stempel tragenden Bauteile und/oder der Matrize relativ zu einem Fixpunkt gemessen wird und die Stempel tragenden Bauteile jeweils in eine Sollposition zuein­ ander gefahren werden, die unter Berücksichtigung der Stempellängen den Sollabmesungen des Preßlings in Preß­ richtung entsprechen. Um ein Verfahren und eine Vor­ richtung zu dessen Durchführung anzugeben, mit dem die Genauigkeit der Preßlingsgeometrie auch bei Preßlingen mit mehreren Höhenabsätzen weiter verbessert werden kann, wird vorgeschlagen, daß in der Preßendstellung die Soll­ position mindestens eines der Stempel tragenden Bauteile in Preßrichtung um einen Betrag korrigiert wird, der der elastischen Verformung des bzw. der Stempel infolge der Einwirkung der Preßkraft entspricht.
