Abstract
The press mould is used in powder metallurgy for making products of high ratio between their height and cross section. It ensures the automation of the process of pressing, easier removal of the pressed product from the mould and pressing of products of complex shapes and different cross sections. The press mould includes a composite die of two parts (2, 3) with a dividing surface along the direction of pressing, forming a form-making chamber (13), and upper (10) and lower (12) punch. One, the mobile part (3), of the die has a pressing hydraulic piston (9) fitted perpendicularly to the axis of the die and has a facility to press the die in radial direction to its other part (2), fixed to the pressing machine. The die has four guides (4), fitted at its ends, perpendicularly to its axis and getting across its two parts (2, 3).
