Description

The invention relates to a permanently glazed wood / metal window with the features specified in the preamble of claim 1. Wood / metal windows are understood to mean those windows in which essential parts are made of wood and other parts are made of metal, in particular aluminum. The parts made of wood are assigned to the interior, which is to be closed off from the window, while the metal profile sections are placed as an outer shell.

From DE-U-19 24 972 a permanently glazed wood / metal window with the features specified in the preamble of claim 1 is known. Glass holding strips made of wood are provided, which are connected to the frame by means of locally arranged connecting means and in this respect only indirectly engage the outer shell. The connecting means each consist of a tab which is inserted into a recess in the frame. Each tab is assigned a set screw that penetrates from the interior through the wooden glass retaining bar and engages with a thread on the tab. A seal is provided in the usual way between the glass retaining strip and the glass pane. Additional wood screws can be used to fix the glass retaining strips to the frame after a pressure force has been applied to the glass pane via the locally releasable adjusting means. The four glass retaining strips must be adjusted carefully, so that appropriate experience and skill are required for the installation. A further disadvantage is that the pressure forces are conducted over the frame and the connection between the frame and the outer shell must be designed so that the pressure forces are absorbed by this connection. The use of the screws is disadvantageous from a decorative point of view because they remain visible. If the screw heads are not completely screwed into the wood of the glass retaining strip, there is a risk of injury when cleaning the frame. Finally, the devitrification, ie the replacement of a broken pane with a new one, is very labor-intensive, because the large number of screws has to be loosened and tightened again after the new pane has been inserted.

From DE-C-33 00 164 it is known for the releasable connection of frame profiles to provide clip connections which are arranged at a distance from one another. For this purpose, the profile of the glass retaining strip has an integrally formed anchoring web. On the other hand, elastic holders made of plastic can be inserted via a snap connection into a recess in the other metal profile section, which have an approximately C-shaped cross section, the opening of which is arranged opposite to the insertion direction of the anchoring web. A first support point facing away from the interior is created between the elastic holder and the anchoring web, in the area of which a latching also occurs between the free end of the anchoring web and the plastic holder. A second support point, which faces the interior, is formed directly between the profile of the glass retaining strip and the profile of the frame. There is no locking in the area of this second support point, so that lifting out when changing discs is not necessary. When changing the pane, the latching in the area of the first support point is to be released, which is done by using a thin tool, in particular a spatula, to form a gap between the glass holding bar and the frame, increasing the contact pressure of the glass holding bar, and through this gap first support point is excavated.

From US-A-4 742 664 a permanently glazed window made of warm profile pieces is known, in which locally arranged receiving parts are used in connection with an anchoring rib, which is in turn molded onto the profile of the glass retaining strip, in order to achieve pressure glazing. The receiving part has an essentially C-shaped cross section with a receiving space open in the direction of the pane, the leg facing away from the interior forming a first support point and the leg facing the interior forming a second supporting point for the moment of the pressure glazing transmitted by the glass retaining strip. The free end of the anchoring rib engages under a U-shaped bend in the receiving part. The second support point facing the interior is locked by a rib protruding from the anchoring rib in the direction of the receiving part. This latching can be canceled in that a pressure force is exerted on the glass retaining bar, which increases the contact pressure of the pressure glazing. With these frames composed of profiles, the advantage is already achieved that there is no need for externally visible fastening elements between the glass retaining strip and the frame.

The invention has for its object to develop a wood / metal window of the type described in such a way that pressure glass with a high pressure force is advantageously possible via the glass holding bar, but on the other hand the pressing force immediately decreases when the glass holding bar is released.

According to the invention this is achieved in connection with the features set out in the characterizing part of claim 1.

The attachment of the glass retaining strips made of wood to the wooden frame no longer happens in cumbersome by screws, but via concealed clip connections, which are essentially installed or arranged in the gap between the glass retaining bar and frame. This means that these fasteners are invisible and do not affect the window in any decorative way. Such a clip connection consists of a receiving part, which is arranged on the frame and an insertion part, which is attached as a separate part to the glass retaining strip. This also has the particular advantage that when the clip connection is made, that is to say when it snaps in, the pressure force for the dry pressure glazing is also applied.

The direction of insertion of the plug-in part corresponds to the direction of action of the pressing force of the glass retaining strip on the pane. It is also important that two spaced-apart support points are formed between the insert part and the receiving part, at which the two parts of the clip connection are hooked together. In contrast to a fastening screw, which forms only one support point, the clip connection with its two support points arranged at a distance is much better suited to absorbing forces and moments. It is easily possible to design the two parts of the clip connection, namely the receiving part and the plug-in part, to be very flat, so that their placement in the joint between the frame and the glass retaining strip presents no difficulties and the corresponding recesses in the profile of the frame on the one hand and in the profile of the Glass holding bar on the other hand can be kept comparatively low. The support point facing the interior between the two parts of the clip connection is designed so that it can be lifted out, so it can be released intentionally; this is necessary when inserting a new pane, in which the connection between the glass retaining strip and the frame first has to be broken. By picking up this one The other support point is also released from the support point and the glass holding strip can be released from the frame in the direction counter to the pressing force, that is to say with an immediate reduction in the pressing force. This is a very simple process that can be performed in a much shorter time than removing the connecting screws in the prior art.

The receiving part has an essentially C-shaped cross section with a receiving space that is open in the direction of the glass retaining strip, the legs of which are turned away from the interior form the first support point and the legs of which face toward the interior form the second support point. The receiving part thus has the shape of a lying C and can be formed very flattened.

The leg of the receiving part facing the interior is of flexible design for latching the glass retaining bar and for lifting the support point facing the interior when the glass retaining bar is released. This flexible leg is thus facing the interior and easily accessible through the joint between the glass retaining strip and frame with a flat tool, such as a spatula, so that the connection between the glass retaining strip and frame can be released in this way if, for example, a new disc is to be used. By snapping the flexible leg into a shoulder, recess or the like on the plug-in part, an unmistakable sign is given during assembly that the required pressure force on the dry pressure glazing has been reached. This also inevitably ensures the uniformity of the pressing force on the pane over the circumference of the window frame.

The receiving part and the plug-in part can advantageously be formed as molded parts made of plastic and have a rib with an approximately fir tree-like cross section, with which they are anchored in a groove arranged in the frame and in the glass retaining strip. This also eliminates any screw fastening of the individual parts of the clip connection. Both the plug-in part and the receptacle part can be driven into the frame or the glass holding strip in a manner that is easier to assemble and comparatively shorter. Since the corresponding grooves are provided continuously in the longitudinal direction of the profiles, the attachment at any desired location to the desired spacing of adjacent clip connections is easily possible. The attachment of the grooves on the frame and on the glass retaining strip does not require an additional operation, since these grooves can also be introduced when milling the profiles for these parts. The anchoring via ribs with an approximately fir tree-like cross-section provides a much more secure fit than screwing on clip connecting elements, as is common elsewhere in window technology, because the area in contact with one another is considerably larger and, moreover, also continuous over the longitudinal extent of the clip connecting elements is provided.

The two legs of the receiving part can be connected to one another via a flat web so that the distance between the two support points is as large as possible, which corresponds to a support that is appropriate for the moment. This means that a large part of the width of the frame is used for the arrangement of the receiving part, which is also favorable for the force dissipation in the frame.

The leg facing the interior can be connected to the flat web via a U-shaped bend which is accommodated in a second groove in the frame. The receiving part is thus in two grooves running parallel to one another Stored and supported in the frame so that the receiving part gets its firm, immovable seat on the frame.

The leg facing the interior can engage in a shoulder, recess or the like on the plug-in part, so that the second support point is formed.

The leg facing away from the interior is suitably inflexible and has on its inside a sliding surface for receiving the insert part. This sliding surface extends somewhat obliquely to the sliding direction of the glass retaining strip on the frame and thus obliquely to the direction of force of the pressing force of the glass retaining strip or the front seal on the pane. However, this is in no way disadvantageous, but even favors the correct seating of the seal when the pressure force is applied. As a result of this slight inclined position, the glass retaining strip and the window frame approach each other somewhat when the clip connection is made, which at the same time also reduces the air in the joint between the glass retaining bar and window frame. At the end of the insertion movement, the second leg then engages audibly or noticeably, so that the installer is shown that the glass retaining strip is properly seated on the frame. The first support point is formed in the area of this inflexible leg.

Der Kraftschluß erfolgt auf kurzem Weg.In the region of the leg facing away from the interior, the receiving part can have an extension projecting towards the outer shell with a nose which engages behind and supports the metal profile section. This gives the recording part a second function. It additionally secures the outer shell formed from the metal profile section and ensures that the outer shell acts as an abutment for the disc serves to absorb the necessary pressure without evading. Advantageously, part of the forces between the glass holding bar and frame are introduced directly from the glass holding bar via the plug-in part and the receiving part into the metal profile section of the outer shell, so that the frame is less stressed by the inventive design. The adhesion is short.

The insert part can have an approximately Z-shaped cross section, on which the shoulder, recess or the like is assigned to the leg of the receiving part facing the interior. The insert can thus be made very flat. It builds up little. Due to its Z-shape, it is possible to effectively snap the flexible leg of the receiving part into place, with proper and reproducible support of the force in the second support point.

The plug-in part is expediently arranged on the glass holding strip with a projection in the direction of the leg of the receiving part facing away from the interior and has a counter surface assigned to the sliding surface on the receiving part in the region of the projection. This makes it possible to partially insert or hook the insert part in the fixed leg of the receiving part before the pressing force arises, even before the second support point is fixed. When inserting the plug-in part, the receiving part with its sliding surface forms a guideway along which the parts move relative to one another until the flexible leg of the receiving part engages with the plug-in part and thus the clip connection has received its proper fit.

A preferred embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawings and is described below. Show it:

The cross section shown in Figure 1 shows the lower spar of the wood / metal window, which, however, does not differ fundamentally from the design in the upper and lateral area. A metal profile section 2 is fastened to a frame 1 as the outer shell, for example via a clip connector 3 which is of no further interest in the present context. The connection between the metal profile section 2 and frame 1 can also be made in a different way. In a groove 4, a seal 5 made of flexible, resilient material is inserted, which forms an abutment for a pane 6, which is designed here as an insulating glass pane.

A glass retaining strip 7 made of wood is provided, which is detachably connected to the frame 1, which is also made of wood, via a clip connection 8. The clip connection 8 consists of a receiving part 9, which is mounted on the frame 1, and an insertion part 10, which is mounted on the glass retaining strip 7.

As can also be seen in FIG. 3, the receiving part 9 has a flat web 11 which, facing the exterior 12, merges into a fixed leg 13, while at the other end of the Flat web 11 a flexible leg 14 is arranged, which is arranged facing the interior 15, that is, the space that is to be closed off from the window to the outside. The receiving part 10 thus has an essentially C-shaped cross section in a lying arrangement, the two legs 13 and 14 enclosing a receiving space 16 which is open at the top, that is to say in the direction of the plug-in part 10. On the side facing the receiving space 16, the fixed leg 13 has a slightly inclined sliding surface 17, so that here a first support point 18 is formed between the insert part 10 and the receiving part 9. On the side facing the interior 15, the flat web 11 initially merges into a bend 19 which has the shape shown in FIG. 1, a recess 20 (FIG. 3) or a shoulder being provided in the region of the bend, which provides the necessary freedom of movement for the deflection of the flexible leg 14 of the receiving part 3 provides. It can be seen at the same time that the flexible leg 14 extends only over part of the length of the receiving part 9. Other embodiments are of course also conceivable. The flexible leg 14 forms with its free edge a second support point 21. It can be seen that the distance between the first support point 18 and the second support point 21 is chosen as large as possible due to the flat, elongated design of the receiving part 9, which in the sense of a moment-appropriate Force absorption makes sense.

The receiving part 9 or the flat web 11 has on its rear side a rib 22 with a cross section similar to a fir tree, with which the receiving part 9 is inserted into a continuous groove 23 in the frame 1. The bend 19 comes to rest in a second groove 24 in the frame 1, as a result of which the receiving part 9 as a whole receives its firm, immovable seat. The fixed leg 13 facing the outer space 12 can have an extension 25 in the direction of the outer space 12 have a nose 26 which engages behind a rib 27 of the metal profile section 2, so that in this way, in addition to the clip connector 3, a second support or anchoring point of the metal profile section 2 on the frame 1 is realized.

The plug-in part 10, which is again illustrated in a perspective view in FIG. 2, has essentially a Z-shaped cross section and a flat, elongated, slide-like shape, a web 28 with its free end projecting beyond the cross section of the glass holding strip 7 being provided, which has a counter surface 29 corresponding to the sliding surface 17 in the inclined position. At the end facing the interior 15, the plug-in part 10 has a shoulder 30, in which the flexible leg 14 of the receiving part 9 engages and forms the second support point 21 here with appropriate locking. A rib 31, also with a fir-tree-like cross-section, serves to anchor the plug-in part 10 in a groove 32 in the glass retaining strip 7. It should be noted that both parts of the clip connection, that is to say both the receiving part 9 and the plug-in part 10, are not screwed together is held, but by corresponding ribs which engage in grooves on the frame 1 or the glass retaining strip 7. It is understood that two mutually associated parts, namely a receiving part 9 and a plug-in part 10 form a clip connection 8. Several such clip connections are spaced around the circumference of the frame. Receiving part 9 and insert part 10 can be assembled in a very simple manner and quickly, with such mutual distances as the application and the size of the wood / metal window require.

A seal 33 is assigned to the glass holding strip 7, the pane 6 in dry pressure glazing between the seal 5 and 33 is held. A joint 34 between the frame 1 and the glass retaining strip 3 is covered by a seal 35 which is inserted into a groove 36 in the profile of the glass retaining strip 7.

The window is installed as follows: First, the metal profile sections 2 are connected to the frame 1 via the clip connector 3. Subsequently, the receiving part 9 of the clip connection 8 is fastened to the frame 1 at the required distance, by driving in the ribs 22 and the bends 19. After inserting the seal 5 into the groove 4 of the metal profile sections 2, the washer 6 can be placed and aligned . The plug-in parts 10 belonging to the clip connections 8 are hammered into the glass holding strips 7, the rib 31 entering the groove 32. Furthermore, the seals 33 and 35 are placed on the glass retaining strips 7. It is then possible to push the plug-in parts 10 in the region of the projection of the web 28 under the fixed legs 13, the counter surface 29 coming into operative connection here even before the seal 33 has been placed on the disk 6. By applying pressure in the direction of an arrow 37 to the glass retaining strip 7 with the metal profile section 2 held tight, the seals 5 and 33 are pressed together, the desired pressing force being exerted on the pane 6 here. This action of force and displacement in the direction of arrow 37 is continued until the flexible leg 14 snaps up from its bent-down position into the position shown in FIG. 1, that is to say engages behind the shoulder 30. The clip connection or the clip connections are thus properly fixed in the region of a section of the glass retaining strip 7, the seal 35 in the joint 34 being compressed at the same time. This completes the assembly and the glass retaining strip 7 has its proper seat and Obtain attachment to the frame 1. If it is deemed necessary, a sealing sheet 38 can be inserted at a suitable point in the assembly, which is anchored at one end in the metal profile section 2 and lies at the other end between the seal 33 on the disk 6.

If the glass pane 6 is destroyed and is to be replaced, the clip connections 8 can be released in a simple manner by inserting a flat tool, a spatula, a knife or the like under the seal 35 in the joint 34. By applying some pressure in the direction of arrow 37, the flexible leg 14 can then be pressed down with the tool, so that the second support point 21 is disengaged. The glass holding strip 7 can then be easily removed in the opposite direction to the arrow 37 after all the clip connections 8 of the route in question have been released in this way.

The embodiment according to FIG. 4 shows, in a representation similar to FIG. 1, a further embodiment for the clip connection 8, in which the insertion part 10 and the receiving part 9 are designed somewhat differently. The recess 20 is missing in the receiving part 9 (FIG. 3). Instead, the flat web 11 is designed at the transition to the leg 14 in such a way that the leg 14 gets its required mobility and the space required even without the recess 20. This has the advantage that the leg 14 can extend over the entire length of the receiving part 9. This also results in the possibility of forming the receiving part 9 as a section from an extruded profile. Receiving part 9 and insert 10 can be made of plastic, metal or the like.

The Z-shaped cross section is missing. Instead, the web 28 is provided straight through and the second support point 21 is formed in the region of a rib extending downward in the direction of the receiving space 16, against which the leg 14 lies flat with its end face. The other training corresponds essentially to the embodiment according to Figures 1 to 3.
