Putty-free glazing for windows and doors The invention relates to putty-free glazing for windows and doors, with a frame made of a metal profile for receiving the edge of the glass pane, a clamping rebate strip for holding the glass pane in the metal profile frame and sealing strips arranged between the frame and the glass pane made of elastic material.
It has been shown in such, putty-free glazing that the elasticity of the sealing strips is not sufficient to give the glass pane a safe and permanent hold for a long time.
The purpose of the invention is to alleviate this disadvantage, namely by the fact that the clamping seam strip on its side facing the disc carries a metal spring band with at least approximately V-shaped cross-section, one leg of which is held between longitudinal grooves on the clamping seam strip, while the other Legs of the spring band presses freely resiliently against the sealing band between the cleat bar and the glass pane.
In the drawing, some exemplary embodiments of the putty-free glazing according to the invention are Darge, namely: Fig. 1 shows a vertical section through a window frame made of a metal profile with putty-free glazing held in the same, Fig. 2 shows a variant of FIG the same presen- tation as the latter, Fig. 3 is a horizontal section through a window with putty-free window glazing arranged on both sides of a pillar, Fig. 4 shows a variant of the embodiment according to Fig. 3,
also in horizontal section and Fig. 5 is a horizontal section through a window sash, partly made of metal and partly made of wood. According to Fig. 1, the window frame 1 made of a metal profile has a groove 2 for inserting the glass pane formed as a laminated glass pane 3, and next to it a smaller groove 4 for inserting a U-shaped clamping seam strip 5. The se clamping seam strip has on the lower outer Edge of the legs of the U-shaped cross-section protruding ribs 6, which eingrei fen in grooves 7 at the groove 4 to hold the bar 5 on the frame profile.
On the inside of the side walls of the groove 2 are sealing strips 8, 9 made of elastic material, for. B. made of neoprene, between which the glass pane 3 is held.
The directed against the sealing tape 9 and the disc 3 side wall of the clamping seam strip 5 has longitudinal ribs 10, 11, between which one of the angle of a V-shaped spring band 12 is held. The other, freely resilient leg of the spring band presses against the sealing band 9, which has a hollow rib 13 as an abutment for this freely spring the leg.
By appropriate choice of the spring force of the Fe derbandes 12 a correct and permanent hold of the glass 3 can be achieved in the frame.
In Fig. 2, parts similar to those of Fig. 1 are provided with the same transfers. According to FIG. 2, the clamping folding strip 5 'has a foot 13 which is inserted into a groove 14 of the profile 1'. An arm 15 on the profile of the rabbet strip 5 'and a rib 16 on the same have grooves for receiving the spring band 12.
In the embodiment of the window according to FIGS. 3 and 4, the window frames are composed of two metal profile rails 17 and 18 which are connected to one another by insulating strips 19.
The clamping seam strip 20 has a foot 21 with which it is held in an undercut groove 22 of the profile rail 18. A part 23 running perpendicular to this foot 21 has grooves 24 in which one edge and the bending point of the spring strip 12, which is V-shaped in cross section, are received. The free leg of the spring band 12 presses the sealing tape 9 against the glass pane 3. As shown in FIG.
