Definitions
- the invention relates to a thread delivery device with at least one thread supply, from which the thread is taken and fed to an intermediate store.
- the invention further relates to a thread delivery nozzle and to the use of the thread delivery device and the thread delivery nozzle.
- Thread delivery devices are used in thread or yarn processing machines, e.g. also used in weaving machines. These thread delivery devices ensure that, for example, weft threads of the correct length are placed in the weft insertion device and can be inserted into the shed without jerking and tension peaks, since the withdrawal from a thread supply, e.g. a package can lead to high voltage peaks.
- Water and air weft insertion systems have the special feature that the thread is inserted in a non-positive and non-positive manner, ie is blown or injected into the shed. This makes it necessary for the thread moving at a high speed of approx. 60 m / s and more on the weft side to be suddenly braked and held becomes what leads to stress and stress peaks. Abrupt braking of the weft thread, in particular with threads with low tear strength and / or with weaving machines with larger weaving widths, can lead to weft breakage and thus loss of production.
- the maximum, still economical number of revolutions of a weaving machine for a certain article can be limited by the maximum permissible weft insertion speed or the maximum permissible delay when the thread is braked with a specific weaving width. Similar problems arise wherever fast-moving threads have to be braked to such an extent that the forces that occur during deceleration reach the range of the thread tensile strength. In all of these cases, only an appropriate adjustment of the thread delivery speed has allowed trouble-free operation.
- An object of the invention is to provide a thread delivery device which allows the thread to be stopped in such a way that the forces occurring in the thread remain as low as possible, i.e. The lowest possible voltage peaks occur without the braking or deceleration time being extended and thus the maximum deceleration permitted for a thread being increased.
- a further object of the invention is to create an air-operated nozzle for such a thread delivery device, or to create a weaving machine with an air-operated weft insertion system, which permits improved weft insertion performance.
- a thread delivery device having the features of claim 1.
- the thread delivery nozzle according to the invention has the features of independent claim 11.
- a weaving machine according to the invention has the features of independent claim 12.
- the resilient thread guide element allows the thread brake to be actuated abruptly, at the same time the tension peak occurring in the thread is reduced to about half compared to a same thread delivery device without a spring or spring-loaded thread guide element.
- the resilient or spring-loaded thread guide element is deflected during the stopping process and springs back into the rest position.
- the choice of spring properties is adapted to the respective stopping frequency.
- the weft insertion speed and thus the maximum weft insertion rate are achieved with the same or even reduced weft thread breakage in the case of critically stressed weft threads.
- the gentler braking has the further advantage that the whip-like spring-back of the thread is far less.
- the jump back is so small that the previously required stretching nozzle at the exit of the compartment on the side opposite the weft side can be dispensed with and the weft thread is nevertheless stretched well.
- the excess length of the weft threads can generally be shortened by about 3 cm. With a weaving width of 3 m, this corresponds to a saving of the order of 1%.
- the weft section on the weft exit side becomes shorter by this saved length.
- the spring element also means that the weft thread is automatically drawn back into its mixing tube channel after cutting.
- the thread 10 is drawn off from the drum storage 12 by a cross-wound bobbin 11.
- the drum store 12 has one or more stoppers 120 which release the thread in time with the weft insertion and stop it again.
- the first air nozzle 13 with the air supply nozzle 13 ' is arranged approximately at right angles to the actual firing direction and to the second air nozzle 15, the actual main nozzle.
- the eyelet 14, which serves as a thread guide, is spring-mounted with the spring 14 '.
- the two stops 141 'and 141 ⁇ restrict the travel of spring 14' with eyelet 14 to the main nozzle 15 and vice versa.
- the main nozzle 15 can be designed as a mixer changer multiple nozzle, to the channels of which the threads of the, for example, identical four thread delivery devices 1, 1 ', 1 ⁇ and 1 ′′′ lead and which the main nozzle 15 together as second Air thread delivery nozzle is used.
- the main nozzle 15 is mounted on the sley in the example shown and moves in time with the sley. In position 1515, the weft thread 10 is entered in the shed and is then pulled back slightly and stretched and cut. The weft end of the weft thread 10 is thus withdrawn into the mixing changer channel of the main nozzle 15.
- the operation of the thread delivery device remains essentially the same for a weaving machine with only a single thread delivery device.
- the thread delivery devices 1 ', 1 ⁇ and 1 ′′′ also show two positions of the spring-mounted thread guide elements.
- the spring leaf-like spring element 21 (FIG. 3) with the clamping ring 22 is plugged onto the nozzle tube 20 of the thread delivery nozzle 2 from FIG. 2.
- the thread guide element here is an eyelet 24 made of, for example, ceramic, hardened metal, hard metal or some other abrasion-resistant material.
- FIG. 4 shows a further, leaf spring-like embodiment of a spring element 41 with the flange 42, which is attached to the tube 40 of the thread delivery nozzle 4 and fastened thereon.
- the thread guide element 44 made of abrasion-resistant material for the thread 10 can be pressed or glued into a bore in the spring element 41; but it could also be attached with clamping rings attached to both sides of the bore. So that the spring element 41 can spring freely from the nozzle tube 40, a hole 410 is provided therein.
- the thread delivery nozzle 4 with the spring-mounted thread guide element 44 is arranged at an angle to the further thread course.
- the thread guide element is a perforated disc 54 which hangs on a round spring rod 51 and which in turn is fastened to the nozzle tube 50 with the holder 52.
- a layer of thread 10, perforated disk 54 and round spring rod 51 is shown in broken lines when the thread 10 is loaded by inertia and tensile forces.
- a curved, flexible hose 64 is slipped over at the outlet of the nozzle tube 60 as a thread guide element, which can be provided, for example, on the inside with a spiral spring 64 'made of abrasion-resistant material.
- the end 640 opens into a kind of flexible funnel 66, which has a holder 66 'and which leads to the inlet 650 of the main nozzle 65 which moves back and forth with the sley and is connected to it.
- a broken line again shows a position of the thread 10 in the spiral spring reinforced hose 64 and in the main nozzle 65.
- Fig. 7 finally shows an eyelet 74 held in a loop 71 'of the coil spring 71, which can be pulled into a position shown in broken lines by the inertial and tensile forces of the thread 10 when the thread 10 is stopped.
- the thread 10 is drawn off with the help of the take-off nozzle 811 and the take-off rollers 812, 812 'from the cross-wound bobbin 11 and is blown over the curved nozzle 80 onto the rotating disk, a so-called ribbon storage device 82, one of which is blown thereon Has thread-holding covering.
- the constant speed of the amount of yarn 100 drawn off from the cross bobbin 11 and blown onto the ribbon store 82 is precisely matched to the weaving width and the weft insertion performance of the weaving machine.
- a part of a thread length to be entered is placed on the ribbon store, while the other part of the entry length is supplied directly from the spool 11 during the weft insertion.
- FIG. 8A shows a section of the ribbon storage 82 with the trailing edge 800 of the curved nozzle 80, as well as the eyelet 84, which is held resiliently by the spring 81 in the rest position (thread 10 drawn in solid lines) and at the moment of the stop or stop (thread 10 dash-dotted), below Load on the inertia of the braked weft.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a thread delivery device with at least one thread supply, from which the thread is taken and fed to an intermediate store. The invention further relates to a thread delivery nozzle and to the use of the thread delivery device and the thread delivery nozzle.
Thread delivery devices are used in thread or yarn processing machines, e.g. also used in weaving machines. These thread delivery devices ensure that, for example, weft threads of the correct length are placed in the weft insertion device and can be inserted into the shed without jerking and tension peaks, since the withdrawal from a thread supply, e.g. a package can lead to high voltage peaks.
Water and air weft insertion systems, in particular, have the special feature that the thread is inserted in a non-positive and non-positive manner, ie is blown or injected into the shed. Ultimately, the maximum, still economical number of revolutions of a weaving machine for a certain article can be limited by the maximum permissible weft insertion speed or the maximum permissible delay when the thread is braked with a specific weaving width. Similar problems arise wherever fast-moving threads have to be braked to such an extent that the forces that occur during deceleration reach the range of the thread tensile strength. In all of these cases, only an appropriate adjustment of the thread delivery speed has allowed trouble-free operation.
An object of the invention is to provide a thread delivery device which allows the thread to be stopped in such a way that the forces occurring in the thread remain as low as possible, i.e. The lowest possible voltage peaks occur without the braking or deceleration time being extended and thus the maximum deceleration permitted for a thread being increased. A further object of the invention is to create an air-operated nozzle for such a thread delivery device, or to create a weaving machine with an air-operated weft insertion system, which permits improved weft insertion performance.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by a thread delivery device having the features of claim 1. The thread delivery nozzle according to the invention has the features of
The resilient thread guide element allows the thread brake to be actuated abruptly, at the same time the tension peak occurring in the thread is reduced to about half compared to a same thread delivery device without a spring or spring-loaded thread guide element. The resilient or spring-loaded thread guide element is deflected during the stopping process and springs back into the rest position. The choice of spring properties is adapted to the respective stopping frequency.
This significantly reduces the frequency of thread breakage of critically stressed threads and yarns that have previously been stressed during stop operations up to the tensile strength limit. This opens up the possibility of increasing the thread speed.
In the case of a jet weaving machine with a water or in particular air weft insertion system and with a thread delivery device according to the invention, the weft insertion speed and thus the maximum weft insertion rate are achieved with the same or even reduced weft thread breakage in the case of critically stressed weft threads.
For air-jet weaving machines in particular, the gentler braking has the further advantage that the whip-like spring-back of the thread is far less. The jump back is so small that the previously required stretching nozzle at the exit of the compartment on the side opposite the weft side can be dispensed with and the weft thread is nevertheless stretched well. By eliminating the stretching nozzle, the excess length of the weft threads can generally be shortened by about 3 cm. With a weaving width of 3 m, this corresponds to a saving of the order of 1%. The weft section on the weft exit side becomes shorter by this saved length.
Insgesamt lässt sich der Luftverbrauch einer derartigen neuen Webmaschine um etwa 3.7 g/s reduzieren, was bei einem Gesamtluftverbrauch von etwa 25 g/s bei einer Maschine von 330 cm Webbreite einer beträchtlichen Energieersparnis in der Grössenordnung von etwa 15% entspricht (Schussgarn Ne34.5/1; PE/BW 50/50).Tests have shown that the blowing time of the relay nozzles could be reduced in an air weaving machine with the new thread delivery device in order to achieve the same weft insertion rates. Overall, the air consumption of such a new weaving machine can be reduced by approximately 3.7 g / s, which corresponds to a considerable energy saving in the order of magnitude of approximately 15% with a total air consumption of approximately 25 g / s for a machine of 330 cm weaving width (weft yarn Ne34.5 / 1; PE /
In looms with mixing tubes on main nozzles with two or more thread channels, the spring element also means that the weft thread is automatically drawn back into its mixing tube channel after cutting.
The invention is explained in more detail below with the aid of schematic exemplary embodiments and details thereof, in particular when used on air jet weaving machines.

In the thread delivery device 1 of FIG. 1, the
When the
The spring leaf-like spring element 21 (FIG. 3) with the clamping
In the embodiment of Fig. 6, a curved,
Fig. 7 finally shows an
It would also be conceivable to use the loop or bore of the spring element itself instead of a separate deflecting element and, for example, merely to reinforce its area which is subject to friction by the thread, i.e. to coat or harden, and to use directly as a deflecting element.
In the weft feed device of Fig. 8, the
Fig. 8A zeigt einen Auschnitt des Bändchenspeichers 82 mit der Austrittskante 800 der gebogenen Düse 80, sowie die mit der Feder 81 federnd gehaltene öse 84 in Ruhelage (Faden 10 ausgezogen gezeichnet) sowie im Moment des Anschlags oder Stopps (Faden 10 strichpunktiert), unter Belastung der Trägheitskräfte des gebremsten Schussfadens.8A shows a section of the
