Definitions
- the invention relates to an elevator car with an elevator cage that defines an opening; an elevator car door mounted so that it can move relative to the elevator car opening between the open and closed positions; an elevator door coupling, which is attached to the elevator car door, with spaced-apart, parallel sliding opening and closing slides for actuating shaft door drive rollers for simultaneous opening or closing of a shaft door with the elevator car door; a door operator having a door operator arm and a door clamp arm connecting the door operator arm to the elevator car door; a door lock that prevents the elevator car door from being opened by a passenger when the elevator car is outside a previously determined area relative to a floor, a first device aligned in a first position preventing the door clamp arm from moving beyond a predetermined area , when the elevator car door is closed, and wherein the predetermined range is selected such that the elevator car door can only be opened to a limited extent, so that a pedestrian prevents the elevator car from being left.
- a locking device for an elevator car door has become known with the US patent US-A-4,491,200, in which the elevator car door by means of a stop arranged on the elevator car and by means of a bolt which is arranged on the elevator car door and which is movably arranged on the distance between the two parallel sliding slides and which is movably arranged on the elevator car door Blocking part is prevented from fully opening if the elevator car is outside a drive-up zone of a floor area.
- the bolt locking part is in a deep position that is independent of the stop on the elevator car.
- two shaft door drive rollers arranged on the shaft door arrive between the two driver slides.
- the driver slides are pushed together by the door drive arm until the shaft door drive rollers are clamped between the two driver slides and the cabin and shaft doors are opened together.
- the driver slide takes such a position that the bolt locking part can move past the elevator car without touching the stop. If the elevator car stops outside a drive-up zone of a floor area, the cabin door can only be opened by a passenger until the bolt locking part is against the stop.
- the driver slides are pushed together as a result of the missing shaft door drive rollers, at which position, on the one hand, the movement path of the bolt locking part coincides with the cabin stop and, on the other hand, a device attached to the door frame makes the door drive ineffective.
- the object of the invention is to propose a new and improved elevator door lock, which works independently of stop parts on the elevator car, is mechanically simple, has low manufacturing costs, and is light is to be attached to an elevator car door and can be operated without disturbing noises.
- the present invention is an improved elevator door lock that closes the elevator door without an additional necessary latch between the elevator door coupling and a point fixed to the elevator car or the elevator entrance.
- the door closing function is ensured by the additional installation of some simple elements on the door coupling, which fix the door clamp arm, unless the door coupling is adjacent to a shaft door drive block roller.
- the locking mechanism can be operated with a low level of noise because the operating device has a low mass; the parts are of a simple, readily available mechanical shape that requires little further processing, and they are easy to install and adjust because the controls are fully attached to the door coupling, which is at eye level, where there is sufficient light and accessibility is guaranteed.
- FIG. 1 an elevation of an elevator car 10, viewed from the shaft door side, is shown.
- the landing door is not shown in Fig. 1; however, the enlarged side view, FIG. 3, shows a shaft door 12.
- the elevator car 10 consists of an elevator cage 14, which can be a conventional construction with an opening 16, which is shown in FIG. 1 in the closed position.
- the elevator cage 14 consists of a head part 18 above the opening 16, a door sill 20 below the opening 16 and a hanging rail for the rollers 22 which is attached to the head part 18 above the opening 16.
- the elevator car 10 consists of an elevator door 24 with one or more door fields with a centrally opening door 24 with first and second door fields 26 and 28, which are shown here as an example.
- the door panel 26 consists of the vertical guide edges 30 and rear edges 32 or horizontal upper and lower edges 34 and 36 or outer and inner, flat main surfaces 38 and 40 or vertically oriented surfaces.
- the hanging bearings 42 and 44 or their functional equivalents are attached to the upper edge 34 of the door panel 26, the hanging bearings 42 and 44 including the associated hanging rollers 46 and 48 being carried by the flange 50 of the hanging roller rail 22.
- the guide strips like the guide strips 52 and 54, are attached to the lower edge of the door panel 26 and are located in a longitudinal groove 21 in the door sill 20.
- a retractable object sensor edge 56 can accordingly be attached to the guide edge 30 of the door panel 26.
- the door panel 28 corresponds to the door panel 26 up to this point and is not described in detail.
- a door coupling with a door lock is attached to one of the door panels 26 or 28, which corresponds to the representation of this invention.
- a coupling 60 attached to the left of the door panel 26 was shown; as an alternative, depending if desired, a coupling can be attached to the right on door panel 28.
- a coupling mounted on the right corresponds to the mirror image of a coupling mounted on the left and therefore does not need to be described in detail.
- the door coupling 60 is shown in the simultaneously filed US patent application (Serial No. 309,629) by the same applicant with the title "Elevator car with improved door coupling" and is described in detail. This application is an additional application to this application. To explain all the details not described in detail here, reference is expressly made to this application. Only those parts of the door clutch 60 that are necessary to understand the door drive mechanism will be described in detail.
- Each shaft door 12 in a building served by the elevator car 10 includes a pair of horizontal elements with a gap, which are exemplified as shaft door drive block rollers or simply shaft door drive rollers.
- the first and second shaft door drive rollers 64 and 66 are indicated in FIG. 2, and the shaft door drive roller 66 is shown in FIG. 3.
- the door coupling 60 consists of the first and second slide devices 68 and 70, the first slide device 68 being called an "open slide” because it allows the shaft door drive roller 66 to open the shaft door 12 when the elevator car door 24 is opened.
- the second slide device 70 is called the “closing slide” because it allows the shaft door drive roller 64 to close the shaft door when the elevator car door 24 is closed.
- the door coupling 60 consists of a carrier 76 and the closing slide device, which consists of a closing slide 71 and is carried by the carrier 76 by means of upper and lower connecting devices 78 and 80, respectively, which define the parallelogram-shaped connecting device 81.
- the upper connecting device 78 consists of a carrier arm 82 which is mechanically connected to the carrier 76, a slide carrier 84 which is connected to the closing slide 71 and a rotating arm 86 which rotatably connects the carriers 82 and 84 by means of the axes of rotation 83 and 85.
- An operating or connecting arm 98 is attached to the upper end of the closing slide 71. Raising the operating arm 98 rotates or swings the closing slide upward to the right, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, creates a gap between the slide devices 68 and 70 of the coupling 60 and the shaft door drive rollers on the different floors during driving operation. The lowering of the operating arm 98 allows the closing device to move slowly downward to the left by gravity in order to cancel the space during travel operation when the elevator car 10 stops on one floor and the elevator car door 24 begins to open.
- cam and cam follower device 100 which consists of a cam 102 attached to the hanging roller rail 22 and a cam follower device 104 attached to the hanging bearing 42 of the door panel 26. directly responsible for the position of the elevator car door.
- the elevator car door 24 is provided with a door lock 200 which is operated by means of the door coupling 60.
- the actuation of the door coupling for the door lock 200 is ensured by the construction of the opening slide device, which has a predetermined mechanical movement which opens the elevator car door 24 when the opening slide device 68 exerts a corresponding force on the shaft door drive roller 66. If the elevator car door 24 is moved by a passenger and if the opening slide device 68 is not in the vicinity of a shaft door drive roller 66, there is no mechanical door opening movement and the elevator car door 24 remains closed.
- the opening slide device 68 consists of an opening slide 126 which is movable in order to be able to carry out the required mechanical door opening movement, an opening slide carrier plate 128, the opening slide 126 being movable relative to this carrier plate, and an upper and lower pivot arm 130 and 132, which connect the opening slide 126 to its carrier plate 128 by means of a rotating device.
- a parallelogram-shaped connecting device 141 is thus achieved, in which a force exerted on the opening slide 126 by the shaft door drive roller 66 causes the slide 126 to swing to the left, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2.
- the opening and closing slide devices 68 and 70 of the coupling 60 are rotatably connected to the coupling carrier 76 by means of pivots 176 and 178, which have a common axis of rotation 165.
- This construction is not of great importance for the door lock 200 and is therefore not described in detail.
- the door operator 62 operates the door panels 26 and 28 by means of the door operator arms 202 and 204 and the door clamp arms 206 and 208.
- the door operator arm 202 consists of a first and second end 210 and 212, respectively, and is rotatably connected to the head part 18, with one between the two ends Trunnion 220 is attached.
- the door clamp arms 206 and 208 are rotatably connected to the door panels 26 and 28, respectively, and also rotatably connected to the door drive arms 202 and 204, respectively.
- the door operator 62 is connected to the two first ends 210 and 216 of the door drive arms 202 and 204, respectively, by a device such as the mechanical links 222 and 224, one end of which is rotatable with the first end of the door drive arms and the other end of which is by means of a drive pulley or pulley 226, which is driven by an electric motor 228 by means of a speed change wheel.
- a device such as the mechanical links 222 and 224, one end of which is rotatable with the first end of the door drive arms and the other end of which is by means of a drive pulley or pulley 226, which is driven by an electric motor 228 by means of a speed change wheel.
- Rotating the drive pulley 226 counterclockwise pulls the link 222 to the left, causing the door drive arm 214 to swing counterclockwise around the pivot 214, as shown by arrow 232, and rotating the door clamp arm 206 clockwise.
- the counterclockwise rotation of the drive pulley 226 pulls the link 224 to the right, the door drive arm 204 swings clockwise around the pivot pin 220 and the door clamp arm 208 rotates clockwise. This process exerts a force on the door panel 28 which causes it to open.
- the door lock 200 locks the door drive connectors between the door panel 26 and the door operator 62, thereby preventing the connections from being set in motion by a force exerted by a passenger inside the elevator car 14 on one of the two door panels when the shaft door drive roller 66 is not in the position Located near the opening slide 126 of the clutch 60.
- the door latch 200 consists of a first device 234 which, in a first position, is oriented to prevent the door clamp arm 206 from moving beyond a predetermined range when the elevator car door 24 is closed , the predetermined range being defined such that the opening of the elevator car door 24 is restricted, so that it is impossible for a passenger to leave the elevator when the first device 234 is in said first position.
- the door lock 200 also consists of a further device 236, which is used for the contact of the opening slide 126 with the shaft door drive roller 66 is responsible so that the first device moves into a second position and the elevator car door 24 can be fully opened.
- the first device 234 consists in detail of a lever 238 which is rotatably attached to the coupling carrier 76 by means of a pivot pin 240.
- the pivot pin 240 can consist of a bolt which is offset from the carrier 76 by a spacer 242, an intermediate space allowing the lever 238 to rotate about the axis of rotation 244.
- the door closing position of the lever 238 and the post 246 are shown by solid lines and the door opening position by dashed lines.
- the second device 236 consists of a post 246, which is attached laterally to the movable door opening slide 126 and is located in the vicinity of the carrier plate 128.
- the post 246 projects through an opening 248 in the carrier plate 128, the opening 248 being large enough that movement of the post 246 in connection with the locking device 126 is not impeded.
- the post 246 extends so far towards the carrier 76 that it comes to rest in the path of the lever 238.
- a tension spring 250 is secured between the end 252 of the lever 238 and an advantageously located point, such as on a pin 254 attached to the arm 82 of the closing slide device 70. End 252 is selected such that lever 238 is oriented counterclockwise about axis of rotation 244 and lever 238 exerts a force on post 246.
- the door clamp arm 206 is modified so that in addition to an end 256 that is rotatably attached to the door drive arm 202, it has an end 258 that projects beyond the axis of rotation 260.
- the door clamp arm 206 is offset from the coupling carrier 76 by a spacer 262 and is rotatably attached to the spacer 262 by means of pivot 264.
- the axis of rotation 260 is thus between the ends 256 and 258, and when the door clamp arm 206 moves clockwise when the elevator car door 24 opens, the end 258 follows in one arched clockwise movement.
- an element 266 is fastened, which is dimensioned and aligned against the lever 238.
- An outer end 268 of the element 266 is spaced from the end 270 of the lever 234 by a predetermined distance.
- the predetermined distance is selected so that a passenger inside the elevator car 14 is able to open the elevator car door 24 by a few centimeters for ventilation purposes when the elevator car 10 is stopped outside a safe distance from a floor; then the end 268 of the element 266 will contact the end 270 of the lever 238, block the connector and prevent the elevator car door 24 from opening further.
- the opening of the elevator car door 24 by the door operator 62 or by a passenger inside the elevator car 14 becomes the movable slider 126
- Door opening device 68 make contact with the shaft door drive roller 66 and swing the movable slide 126 to the left.
- the post 236 moves with the slide 126 and moves the lever 238 clockwise about its axis of rotation 244, so that it comes to rest from the area of a rotary movement 270 performed by the element 26.
- the door clamp arm 206 can then move freely, which allows the elevator car door 24 to be opened.
- the door latch 200 is easy to manufacture, install, and adjust and requires only a few simple components that cause little or no noise during operation. They cooperate to block the elevator car door 24 when the elevator car is outside a floor area, and the lock is automatically deactivated when the elevator car door is opened within a floor area.
