Claims (7)

  1. Verfahren zur Herstellung von Schmuckketten mit Kettengliedern in Form von zylindrischen Wendeln, das folgende Schritte umfaßt:
    Festlegen des unteren Kettengliedes (1') eines zuvor gebildeten und in senkrechter Stellung angeordneten "Garibaldi-Moduls" (1, 1''),
    Ergreifen eines ersten Kettengliedes (1') mit horizontaler Längsachse und nach unten gerichteten freien Enden (1a, 1b) am Ausgang einer Maschine (S) zur Herstellung der Kettenglieder in Form von zylindrischen Wendeln; Positionieren des ersten Kettengliedes (1') mit seiner Längsachse im wesentlichen senkrecht zur Längsachse des oberen Kettengliedes (1'') des "Garibaldi-Moduls" (1', 1'') und mit seinem freien Ende (1b) in einer Verkettungsstellung mit der mittleren Schraubenwindung des oberen Kettengliedes (1''),
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Verfahren der Reihe nach die folgenden Phasen umfaßt:
    - Drehen des ersten Kettengliedes (1') im Sinn seiner Wendel ungefähr um 1 1/2 Drehungen und gleichzeitiges Vorwärtsbewegen des Kettengliedes um ungefähr 1 1/2 Teilungsschritte der Wendel um eine freie Verkettung mit dem Kettenglied (1'') des "Garibaldi-Moduls" zu erzielen;
    - Freigeben des unteren Kettengliedes (1') des "Garibaldi-Moduls" und Festlegen seines oberen Kettengliedes (1'');
    - Freigeben des ersten Kettengliedes (1'), das in freier Weise verkettet wurde,
    - Ergreifen eines zweiten freien Kettengliedes (1'') am Ausgang der Maschine (S) zur Herstellung der Kettenglieder;
    - Positionieren des zweiten Kettengliedes (1'') mit seiner Längsachse im wesentlichen senkrecht zur Längsachse des zuvor verketteten Kettengliedes (1') und mit seinem freien Ende (1b) in einer Verkettungsstellung mit der mittleren Schraubenwindung des Kettengliedes (1');
    - Drehen des zweiten Kettengliedes (1'') im Sinn seiner Wendel ungefähr um eine Drehung und gleichzeitiges Vorwärtsbewegen um einen Teilungsschritt der Wendel um die Realisierung einer festen Verkettung zu ermöglichen;
    - Freigeben des oberen Kettengliedes (1'') des zuvor gebildeten "Garibaldi-Moduls" und Festlegen des Kettengliedes (1'), das zuerst verkettet wurde,
    - Freigeben des Kettengliedes (1''), das als zweites verkettet wurde.
  2. Maschine zur Herstellung von Schmuckketten mit Kettengliedern in Form von zylindrischen Wendeln nach dem Verfahren aus Anspruch 1, die Einrichtungen zum Halten und Bewegen der Kettenglieder aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß diese Einrichtungen folgende Bestandteile umfassen:
    - Einen ersten Abschnitt (A) für die Bewegungen eines jeden freien Kettengliedes (1', 1'') bis zu seiner Verkettung mit dem entsprechenden Kettenglied der Kette im Verlauf von deren Herstellung, das zuletzt verkettet worden ist, mit einer vertikalen Motorwelle (12), die eine horizontale Gleitbahn (15) für einen Schlitten (16) unterstützt, der eine Klemmhaltergruppe (17) trägt und horizontal zwischen einer inaktiven, zurückgezogenen Stellung und zwei vorgeschobenen Stellungen zum Übernehmen eines freien Kettengliedes von einer Maschine (S) zur Herstellung von Kettengliedern bzw. zum Positionieren dieses freien Kettengliedes in einer Verkettungsstellung verschiebbar ist, mit einer Klemme (35) zum Ergreifen des freien Kettengliedes (1', 1''), die für eine der Längsachse folgende schraubenartige Vorwärtsbewegung steuerbar ist, um die Verkettung mit dem letzten Kettenglied der in Herstellung befindlichen Kette zu bewerkstelligen,
    - einen zweiten Abschnitt (B) zum Festlegen des vorletzten Kettengliedes der in Herstellung befindlichen Kette mit einer vertikalen, motorgetriebenen Welle (42), die in axialer Richtung gleitet und eine horizontale Gleitbahn (43) für einen Schlitten (44) trägt, der mit zwei getrennten Klemmvorrichtungen (45, 46) versehen und so bewegbar ist, daß die beiden Klemmvorrichtungen getrennt in eine Position zum Ergreifen eines entsprechenden Kettengliedes der in Herstellung befindlichen Kette gebracht werden können.
  3. Maschine nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie zum Verschieben des Schlittens (16) des Abschnittes (A) zwei Schiebevorrichtungen (19, 20) umfaßt, die auf den Rand des Schlittens (16) einwirken und von denen die eine (19) zum Positionieren der Klemme (35) in der vorgeschobenen, zum Ergreifen der Kettenglieder (1', 1'') am Ausgang der Maschine (S) zur Herstellung der Kettenglieder vorgesehenen Stellung und die andere (20) zum Positionieren der Klemme (35) in der vorgeschobenen Verkettungsstellung dient, wobei Rückholvorrichtungen vorgesehen sind, um den Schlitten (16) in seine Ruhelage zurückzuholen.
  4. Maschine nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Klemmenhaltergruppe (17) des Abschnittes (A) einen Träger (22) umfaßt, der verschieblich auf einem senkrechten Kreisbogenstück (23) montiert ist, dessen Mittelpunkt mit dem vorderen Ende (16) des in der Verkettungsphase befindlichen Kettengliedes übereinstimmt, sowie eine horizontale Welle (29), die am Kopf die Klemme (35) trägt und deren Drehbewegung mit Hilfe eines Motors (25) vermittels eines Getriebezuges (26-28) mit einem Übersetzungsverhältnis 2:1 erhalten wird, während ihre Vorwärtsbewegung mit einer Schrittweite, die gleich der der Wendel der Kettenglieder ist, ausgehend von derselben Motorwelle (25) vermittels eines frontalen Nockens (30), der vor der Motorwelle (25) montiert ist, und eines Hebels (31) erhalten wird, der auf den hinteren Bereich der Klemmenhalter-Welle (29) unter Zwischenfügung eines Stößels (32) einwirkt.
  5. Maschine nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Backen der Klemmvorrichtungen (45, 46) mit Vertiefungen versehen sind, die es ermöglichen, ein wendelförmiges Kettenglied so festzuhalten, daß seine freien Enden (1a, 1b) nach unten bzw. nach oben gerichtet sind.
  6. Maschine nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie zur Betätigung der Klemmvorrichtungen (45, 46) eine Stange (48) mit einem keilförmigen Kopf (47) umfaßt, die vertikal zwischen einer unteren und einer oberen Position hin- und hergleitet, um die Backen zu öffnen bzw. zu schließen.
  7. Maschine nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie zur abwechselnden Positionierung der Klemmvorrichtungen (45, 46) in der aktiven Stellung zum Ergreifen des entsprechenden Kettengliedes des "Garibaldi-Moduls" zwei Schiebevorrichtungen (50, 51) umfaßt, die auf den Schlitten (44) in zwei entsprechenden Richtungen der Verschiebeachse des Schlittens (44) einwirken.
