Definitions
- the invention is based on an arrangement according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
- EP 174 050 A2 discloses a method and a device for arranging and aligning flexible, insulated conductors of a disordered electrical conductor bundle.
- the disordered conductors are pulled from an orderly position between the aligned prongs of two combs.
- the conductors are then pressed into a constriction between the teeth of a comb.
- Clamps for holding cable wires are known from US Pat. No. 3,861,015. These clips consist of spring tongues, by means of which the cable wires can be fixed against a base plate. To hold wire bundles, pegs can be inserted through the base plate, between which the wire bundles are picked up.
- US Pat. No. 4,679,123 deals with a system for arranging cables.
- One cable bundle each is led to one of several arrays arranged one above the other. Connector strips are arranged on these arrays.
- One cable from each bundle leads to a connector strip of the associated array.
- Each cable bundle is on the inner wall of the cable frame a U-shaped bracket is provided, each enclosing a cable bundle and fixed to the frame. So that the individual bundles of cables do not interfere with each other, the U-shaped brackets are arranged in stages on the inner frame of the frame.
- a strain relief arrangement for the cables fed to a connector strip is known.
- a frame-shaped cable receiving device designed as a clamping part is provided there.
- the frame has a slot through which cables or individual conductors can be fed in order to plug contacts in a row. Strain relief is achieved by clamping the cables or individual conductors.
- a cable receiving device in the form of a rod can be used, which is fixed against the power strip. At the free end, this rod has a strap that can be shaped into a loop. This loop leads the cable ends next to each other to the plug contacts. The cable ends are relieved of tension by pulling the loop together, firmly gripping the cable ends.
- the object of the invention is to develop the arrangement - starting from the preamble of claim 1 - so that, in particular for coaxial cables with plugs, an orderly cable routing to those on a plug contact plate mating plugs is possible.
- the cable routing should be designed such that printed circuit boards can be inserted at least between some adjacent rows of cables without interference from cables.
- strain relief of the coaxial cable ends should be made possible in such a way that the plug connectors in the plug contact plate are stressed as little as possible. It should also be possible to guide the circuit boards that can be inserted between adjacent rows of cables. This object is achieved by the features of patent claim 1.
- the subclaims show advantageous configurations of the arrangement.
- the arrangement according to the invention has the advantage that it can be expanded in a modular manner - further cable routing elements can be retrofitted if necessary - and can be easily modified. Due to the distance between the cable routing elements, printed circuit boards can be inserted at any point or exchanged for others. This is particularly necessary when modules on the front of the plug-in contact plate are exchanged, since "shunt boards" must then be inserted into the contact strips located on the back of the plate, for example in a 225-pin version.
- FIG. 1 shows the routing of the cable ends 1 - here coaxial cable ends - to the plug contact plate 2.
- the plug connections between the coaxial cable ends 1 and the plug contact plate 2 are made here via BNC plug 3 on the back of the plug contact plate 2.
- the plug contact plate 2 is located on the front of a frame-like rack, of which the two side walls 4 and the lower connecting rails 5 of the rack frame can be seen in FIG. 1.
- the plug-in contact plate 2 can be attached to the subrack frame, for example, on the profile legs of the connecting rails 5 or by flanges.
- comb-like cable guide elements 8 are arranged vertically next to one another in a plane parallel to the plug contact plate. As shown in FIG.
- the cable guide elements 8 form the back plates of the subrack. They each consist of L-profiles which are flat at the ends (FIGS. 1 and 2) so that they can rest on the rear lower rail 5 and the rear upper rail 6 and can be screwed to these rails by screws 7. Accordingly, the fixing of the plug contact plate 2 against the Jardin operationse elements 8 via the rack frame 4, 5, 6, as a fastener.
- the cable guide elements 8 have cutouts 9 in their plane parallel to the plug-in contact plate 2 on the end face, which give the cable guide elements 8 a comb-like appearance when viewed from the rear.
- the recesses 9 are slot-like and semicircular at the bottom of the slot.
- the slot width and the semicircular slot base are dimensioned such that a coaxial cable can be passed through each slot.
- a vertical row can be formed are guided by coaxial cable ends.
- the cable guiding elements 8 can be arranged parallel next to one another at a distance or in pairs next to each other at a distance parallel. This results in a matrix-like ordering principle. In the paired arrangement, those legs of the L-profiles that do not have any cutouts lie close together and are expediently screwed together.
- the distance between the individually or in pairs side by side cable routing elements 8 is dimensioned so that circuit boards 10, which are designed, for example, as shunt boards, can be inserted into the free spaces between two adjacent cable routing elements 8 on the slot side in the direction of the plug contact plate 2 without interference from the cable ends .
- the shunt boards 10 have on one end face a 225-pin contact strip 11, which engages in a corresponding contact strip 12 on the plug-in contact plate 2 after insertion.
- the shunt boards 10 have handles 15 on their other end faces, which protrude beyond the backplate level in the direction of the operating personnel (FIG. 4).
- the contact strip 12 or a plurality of such contact strips, if a plurality of shunt boards 10 are provided, is always located between one or more vertical rows of plug contacts 3.
- the shunt boards are guided on the bottom and top in groove-like rails 13. These rails 13 can be attached to the rails 5 and 6 of the rack frame.
- Resilient clamping devices 14 are provided in the area of the recesses 9 of the cable guide elements 8. These Resilient clamping devices each consist of spring clips made of flat material (FIG. 3) arranged in pairs per cable to be clamped. The spring clips are applied with screws 15 to those legs of the comb-like cable guide elements 8 which consist of L-profiles and which do not have any cutouts, ie to those legs which are oriented perpendicular to the plug contact plate 2 (FIGS. 1 and 4). The spring clips are mounted in alignment behind the cutouts 9, as the sectional view according to FIG. 4 shows. Thus, after insertion into the recesses 9 of the cable routing elements, clamping into the resilient clamping devices 14 and insertion of the BNC connector 3 on the plug contact plate 2, the coaxial cable ends pass through the subrack without changing the direction.
- the spring clamps have circular sector-shaped formations 16 approximately in the middle of each spring clip for gripping around the coaxial cable sheath (FIG. 3).
- the free ends of the spring clamps are bent outwards in the form of insertion funnels for easier insertion of the cables (Fig. 3).
- FIG. 5 An alternative to the design of the cable guide elements 8 is shown in FIG. 5.
- the cable guide elements 8 are no longer in the form of L-profiles, but rather plate-like. In contrast to the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1, they are also designed for two rows of cutouts 9, specifically for those adjacent rows whose cutouts have opposite opening directions.
- the attachment of the cable guide elements 8 can - as before - directly on the rails 5 and 6 or on the connecting webs 17 by screwing.
- Fig. 6 shows an overall perspective view of the arrangement according to the invention.
- the rack with the plug-in contact plate is fastened between two vertical support plates 18 at operating height.
- a viewing opening 19 can be seen in the lateral frame area.
- a cable duct is arranged below the cable routing elements 8 and serves to receive and guide the bundles of cables of a series of coaxial cables.
- only a number of cable management elements are equipped with coaxial cables.
- only a shunt board is inserted, the handle 15 of which projects beyond the level of the cable guide elements 8, which form the rear wall of the subrack.

Abstract
Description
