- the ventilation devices are neither suitable nor designed to enable homogenization by swirling in the main silo room. This is excluded due to the very large dimensions.
- the bulk material from the silo main rooms is replaced by appropriate Delivery lines are conveyed into the homogenizing cell.
- this homogenizing cell there is mixed, referred to as homogenization. This is followed by removal from the homogenizing cell. A supply of additives is not planned. Intermediate storage is also not possible since there is only such a homogenizing cell which would then not be available for the necessary removal of bulk material from the main silo rooms.
- a silo is known in which a relatively small mixing chamber is arranged in the middle on the bottom of the silo main space, into which the material from the silo main space passes via ventilation devices on a ring-shaped silo bottom.

- the multi-purpose cells are designed and arranged as specified in claims 3 to 6, then they expand upwards so that the material has a larger volume available when it moves upwards. It can "expand” so that there is no fear of clumping. At the same time, the energy consumption during circulation with the help of the pneumatic loosening devices is low. If the formation is as stated in claim 4, then a slope, formed by the adjacent wall portion of the central cone, is available on which the material returns to the pneumatic area Loosening device can slip. - the pneumatic loosening devices of the multi-purpose cells are located on the corresponding cell floors directly between the adjacent wall section of the central cone and the outer wall of the silo.
- the storage and mixing conditions with regard to the additives are very advantageous to use due to the short stays in the multi-purpose cells and low filling levels, due to the favorable cell cross-sectional shape, for a homogenization of the components and, if necessary, the setting of certain recipes.
- the loads are low, the flow paths are short and the required pressure differences are low, so that easy ventilation of the material column is made possible.
- the ventilation of the pneumatic loosening devices on the cell bottom causes an upward flow with one relaxing fluidizing bed in the material.
- the mixture flow is slowly vented and slides down the inner wall section of the central cone in order to be caught again by the active flow in the bottom zone and to repeat the cycle. There is an intensive mass exchange in the material with little energy expenditure due to cell shape, cell size and type of ventilation.

- Discharge lines 15 lead from the ventilation devices 9 with the interposition of metering slides 14 to a collector 16, which opens into a collecting line 17.
- the collecting line 17 leads via a collector 20 and a sieve 21 to a balance 22.
- a conveyor line 30 to the compulsory mixer 27 connects to the vessel scale 22.
- the material passes from the compulsory mixer 27 into a removal device 26, which also serves for the delivery and the supply of the additives, which will be described later.
- the central cone 5 and the outer cone 6 on the one hand and the outer silo wall 3 on the other hand create an annular space in which the multi-purpose cells 11 are arranged and formed.
- Radial, vertical walls 19 determine the number of multipurpose cells depending on their number and limit them laterally.
- Each multi-purpose cell has a base 8 with pneumatic loosening devices 10, which is directly adjacent to the outer wall 3 of the silo. Inside, it is delimited by the adjacent wall section of the central cone 5. At the top, each multipurpose cell is closed off by a false ceiling 12, so that an annular space 33 is created below the upper part of the outer cone 6, housed in the filter 13 and from which the Multipurpose cells can be inspected and serviced.

- Material to be returned directly from the vessel scale 22 reaches the delivery line 24 via the pressure vessel 25.
- the interior below the central cone 5 is designated 31. This interior is accessible in a known manner and accommodates the various devices, as can be seen in FIG. 1.
- the multi-purpose cells can be used and operated in very different ways, and that this enables a very versatile and variable mode of operation of the silo.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a silo according to the preamble of
A silo of the type mentioned above is known from DE-PS 28 44 589. In this known silo there is another silo main room in the annular silo main room above the tip of the central cone. These two main silo rooms are used to store and mix the voluminous main components. Mixing takes place only when the goods are removed by so-called gravity blasts. The ventilation devices on the annular floor of the main silo rooms only serve to pull off the stored bulk goods. The ventilation devices are neither suitable nor designed to enable homogenization by swirling in the main silo room. This is excluded due to the very large dimensions. There is a homogenizing cell below the central cone, the bottom of which is also ventilated. Optionally, the bulk material from the silo main rooms is replaced by appropriate Delivery lines are conveyed into the homogenizing cell. In this homogenizing cell there is mixed, referred to as homogenization. This is followed by removal from the homogenizing cell. A supply of additives is not planned. Intermediate storage is also not possible since there is only such a homogenizing cell which would then not be available for the necessary removal of bulk material from the main silo rooms.
From DE-PS 26 40 714 a silo is known in which a relatively small mixing chamber is arranged in the middle on the bottom of the silo main space, into which the material from the silo main space passes via ventilation devices on a ring-shaped silo bottom. The ring shape is created by the cylindrical outer wall of the mixing chamber. A relatively flat, inclined cone is arranged on the ceiling of the mixing chamber in order to prevent material deposits in this area. A pipe for the pneumatic feeding of additional components leads into the mixing chamber. In this known silo there is only one additional chamber or cell for receiving and storing additives. This is centered on the floor of the main silo room. The regulation of the supply and discharge from the mixing chamber or cell takes place only by actuating the ventilation devices on the floor of the silo main room and is inaccurate due to the open inlet on the chamber floor and is therefore only of limited use.
From DE-PS 15 07 888 a silo is known in which the single mixing chamber arranged above the floor in the middle has an overall conical outer wall. However, this mixing chamber does not serve to take up and admix additives, but only to mix material from the silo main room and is subject to the same conditions as mentioned in DE-PS 26 40 714.
Finally, from DE-PS 28 44 589 a silo is known which is designed as a multi-cell silo in such a way that the main silo space is divided into several rooms in that a central silo main space is present which is surrounded by one or more annular silo main rooms. The floor is formed by a central cone, which has correspondingly ring-shaped silo floors for arranging the ventilation devices. The material from the main silo rooms enters a mixing chamber below the central cone, which has a ventilated floor for mixing and homogenization. The. The addition of additives or additives to the mixing chamber is not provided here.
Due to the increasing variety, e.g. In the production of binders and fillers, and also the necessary disposal measures for industrial waste from waste, the demands placed on modern silo systems are correspondingly high, which cannot be met with the known silos. Above all, the storage of small bulk components, i.e. The storage of aggregates and additives in a small volume in relation to the main components creates procedural difficulties if the cell dimensions are too narrow and bridges with inevitable leakage disorders result.
The invention is based on the object of creating a silo of the type mentioned at the outset which enables the storage and admixing of very different additives with precise admixture and at the same time has a compact construction, i.e. can be created economically.
This object is basically solved by the characterizing part of
According to the invention, a silo with a known central cone, which defines the annular bottom, is equipped with a multiplicity of multipurpose cells, to which different additives can be fed independently of one another and from which these additives can be withdrawn from the silo main room according to the desired mixture to be produced with the material . At the same time, the aggregates are mixed and homogenized in the individual multi-purpose cells. Mixing with the material from the main silo space takes place after the respective discharge lines have been brought together, preferably in a downstream mixer. Material that has already been removed and mixed from the main silo room and one or more multipurpose cells and cannot be used at the moment can be returned to the multipurpose cells. The composition of this material is known, so that this composition can be taken into account in the further admixture and the corresponding mixing ratio.
Advantageously (claim 2), the main silo space can be divided in a known manner into several main silo spaces, which either lie next to each other in segments or are formed by concentric silo main spaces.
If the multi-purpose cells are designed and arranged as specified in
If the training is as in
In an advantageous embodiment, the main silo space has a diameter of approximately 20 m. With its outer wall, the central cone delimits the floor of the silo main room and the multi-purpose cells to the inside. If the main silo space is to be divided, radial partition walls are provided. The outer cone is supported on the central cone and starts from the outer wall of the silo. It defines the ring-shaped silo floor of the silo main room to the outside. The multipurpose cells have useful contents between 100 and 400 cbm. The pneumatic loosening devices of the multi-purpose cells are located on the corresponding cell floors directly between the adjacent wall section of the central cone and the outer wall of the silo.
The storage and mixing conditions with regard to the additives are very advantageous to use due to the short stays in the multi-purpose cells and low filling levels, due to the favorable cell cross-sectional shape, for a homogenization of the components and, if necessary, the setting of certain recipes. The loads are low, the flow paths are short and the required pressure differences are low, so that easy ventilation of the material column is made possible. The ventilation of the pneumatic loosening devices on the cell bottom causes an upward flow with one relaxing fluidizing bed in the material. The mixture flow is slowly vented and slides down the inner wall section of the central cone in order to be caught again by the active flow in the bottom zone and to repeat the cycle. There is an intensive mass exchange in the material with little energy expenditure due to cell shape, cell size and type of ventilation. A downstream compulsory mixing can therefore be dispensed with for some bulk material mixtures. For others, postmixing is desirable. The multipurpose cells can also be used for one. short-term intermediate storage of finished batches can be used in order to economically balance the different rhythm during production and shipping. All of this goes hand in hand with high dosing accuracy. The low filling levels result in low fluidizing pressures of the material mixture. This means that the outlet speeds are comparatively low and there are larger outlet cross-sections even for the smallest volume flows. There is a larger control range and leakage problems due to constipation are prevented.
The annular space (claim 7) not only allows filters to be arranged, but also an inspection of each multi-purpose cell is possible.

pipe switch 34 to the selected multipurpose cell. - 2. Emptying from one or more
main silo compartments 1 into the collectingline 17 and emptying from one or moremulti-purpose cells 11 via the associateddischarge line 18 into thecollector 20 and from there via thecontainer scale 22 to theremoval device 26. - 3. Emptying as in 2. from one or more
main silo rooms 1 and from one or more multi-purpose cells with simultaneous return via thereturn line 24 and the selectedline 32 back to the multi-purpose cell for intermediate storage. - 4. Method as in 3., but with the
compulsory mixer 27 switched off, since homogenization and mixing takes place only in themultipurpose cells 11. - 5. Method as in 4., but no intermediate storage in the multi-purpose cells, but removal via a
