Definitions
- the invention relates to a three-part bed, with three lying surfaces, the first lying surface for supporting the back and the head, the second lying surface for supporting the buttocks and the thighs and the third lying surface for supporting the lower legs, the first and the second lying surface with openings are provided, below which upward-radiating electroacoustic transducers are arranged, broadband loudspeakers being attached to the side of the first lying surface.
- Such couches are known. Due to the swiveling of the lying surfaces to each other, they allow a relaxed lying position to be set, as well as a comfortable sitting position. However, this comfortable lying position to be brought about by such a bed does not automatically lead to relaxation of the body. According to current knowledge, such relaxation is achieved through the influence of appropriately selected music. However, it is not enough that this music acts through the ear, but it should also be palpable with the body. This is taken into account by a bed, which is described in EP-A2-244508, in which a loudspeaker is arranged below a rigid bed surface and emits low-frequency signals between 30 Hz and 120 Hz.
- a further external loudspeaker or a plurality of such loudspeakers then also acts on the person seeking relaxation via hearing.
- this known couch is afflicted with the lack of the rigid arrangement of the loudspeaker, as well as the disadvantage that the couch cannot be adapted to the patient's desired relaxation position.
- the object of the invention is to provide a bed of this type which serves to implement the latest knowledge from the scientific fields of medicine and psychology in the field of relaxation or deep relaxation. This is achieved in the manner according to the invention by the features of the characterizing part of claim 1.
- broadband loudspeakers are expediently attached to the head part on both sides.
- these speakers can also be set up elsewhere.
- the device according to the invention it is achieved for the first time that the patients can be treated therapeutically with music without the risk of interference from the filter of the hearing organ or of the consciousness.
- a housing (1) padded on the upper side represents the middle part of the couch to be set up on legs (2). This middle section is followed by a first lying surface (3) for the patient's head and back and a third lying surface (4) for the lower leg .
- the lying surfaces (3 and 4) are pivotally connected to the housing (1) or the central part of the bed by means of axes (5, 6).
- On the top of the housing (1) there are also beads (7, 8) on the side which prevent the patient's arms from falling down.
- Openings (10) are provided in the lying surfaces (3, 9), below which electroacoustic transducers (11, 12, 13) are arranged so as to be longitudinally displaceable. Further openings (14, 15) are located on the side at the end of the lying surface (3). Broadband loudspeakers are arranged under these openings.
- the patient lies on the couch so that the thighs and buttocks rest on the middle part (9), the back and the Head are on the lying surface (3).
- the electroacoustic transducers (11, 12 and 13) are brought into the correct position by longitudinal displacement, so that they can insonify the lower abdominal cavity, the chest and the head.
- the electrical devices which are located in the housing (1), are adjusted by means of the setting members (16) so that audible music sounds from the broadband loudspeakers, the clock starts of which are fed to a signal generator, which then supplies the electroacoustic transducers with an inaudible signal frequency.
- the length of the signal pulses is adjustable and is between approximately 0.1 and 2 seconds.
- the person lying on the couch hears the music from the broadband loudspeakers in their audible range; at the same time, the tissue of the body is still sonicated by the electroacoustic transducers in the inaudible area, in time with this piece of music.
Description
- Fig. 1
- eine Seitenansicht und
