Abstract

Chromgerbung mit hoher Chromauszehrung der Gerbflotten wird dadurch erreicht daß man mit Ameisensäure und/oder Schwefelsäure gepickelte Blößen mit Chrom III-Salzen gerbt, die Gerbflotte mit Basifizierungsmitteln in Gegenwart von Aldehyd- und/oder Ketosäuren auf einen pH-Wert zwischen 3,6 und 4,3 vorabstumpft und anschließend mit Alkali-Aluminiumsilikaten auf einen pH-Wert zwischen 4,2 und 5,5 abstumpft.
