Abstract

Ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Rohrwendel, wobei ein Rohrabschnitt auf einer Presse (1) in Richtung der Rohrachse über einen Aufweitdorn (5) gedrückt wird, welcher zumindest in einem Endbereich schraubenförmig gekrümmt ist, wird im Sinne einer sauberen, schnellen und präzisen Formgebung und einer Anwendung dieses Ver­ fahrens für beliebige Wendelsteigungen in der Weise ausgestaltet, daß der Rohrabschnitt (6) gegenüber dem Aufweitdorn (5) eine Drehbewegung um die Rohrachse aus­ führt. Eine Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens sieht vor, daß ein zur Vorbewegung des Rohrabschnitts (6) dienender Preßbär (3) und/oder der Aufweitdorn (5) zueinander drehbeweglich ausgebildet sind.
