Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Strangpressen (1) oder Strangrohrpressen eines Gemenges aus pflanzlichen Kleinteilen mit Bindemitteln, wobei das Gemenge durch einen Preßstempel (5) unter Verdichtung von einem Füll- und Preßraum (4) in eine Aushärtekanal (7) gepreßt wird. Ein beweglich angeordneter Dorn (6) ist im Preßraum gelagert und durch den Preßstempel hindurchgeführt. Der Dorn ragt hierbei über den Preßraum hinaus in den Aushärtekanal hinein. Dieser Dorn ist unabhängig von der Bewegung des Preßstempels in Richtung des Preßstempels beweglich angeordnet. Der Preßstempel preßt das Füllgut aus dem Preßraum heraus in den Aushärtekanal hinein, hierbei wird der Dorn derart mitbewegt, daß der Verdichtungsgrad konstant bleibt und eine gleichmäßige Nachverdichtung des vorverdichteten Gemenges eintritt. Der Dorn ist durch ein flüssiges oder gasförmiges Medium beheizbar und es sind mehrere Dorne vorgesehene, die beliebige Querschnitte und Längen besitzen.
