Abstract

Une table de traction ou un appareil de traction automatique qui se compose de deux sections de table (1, 2), dont au moins une est construite de façon à se déplacer sur des guides (5), d'un équipement de traction servant à séparer les sections de table (1, 2) l'une de l'autre et d'un harnais servant à fixer les parties supérieure et inférieure du corps du patient aux sections de table correspondantes (1, 2). Le but de la présente invention est de réaliser un nouveau type de table de traction particulièrement destinée à permettre la traction efficace et sûre de la région lombaire. Selon la présente invention, l'équipement de traction comporte un mécanisme de liaison des forces (6, 7) qui est relié entre les sections de table (1, 2) et dont les leviers d'actionnement (6) sont placés sur les côtés des sections de table (1, 2) de façon à pouvoir être utilisés par le patient, au moins une des sections de table (1) pouvant tourner jusqu'à un degré limité dans le sens transversal autour d'un axe (15) de façon à rendre possible le réglage de l'angle de traction.
