Die als nicht gegeben erachtete Notwendigkeit solcher Einrichtungen in Verbindung mit der als schwierig und aufwendig erachteten Kupplung führten jedenfalls dazu, daß bisher keine praxisnahe, brauchbare Kuppelmöglichkeit gefunden wurde.Generic double shaft bellows are known per se. Dem einen jedes der beiden zusammengehörenden äußeren Endrahmen sind im Bereich seines einen vertikalen Abschnitts vorspringende Zentrierzapfen, im Bereich seines anderen vertikalen Abschnitts entsprechende, zurückspringende Aufnahmetaschen zugeordnet und die Zuordnung von Taschen und Zapfen ist so gewählt, daß bei miteinander gekuppelten Fahrzeugen die Zentrierzapfen jedes Endrahmens in die Zentriertaschen des jeweils anderen Endrahmens haben eindringen können. Im einzelnen sind weiter Übergangsschutzeinrichtungen bekannt, bei denen zur Komforterhöhung zwei wellenförmige Faltenbälge konzentrisch ineinander angeordnet sind. Die Wellen des einen dieser beiden Bälge sind nach dem vom doppelten Faltenbalg umschlossenen Übergangsbereich hin offen, die Wellen des anderen Balges sind entsprechend nach außen hin offen, in jeder Wand des Balges liegen die Falten Rücken an Rücken und die beiden Wellenbälge sind fest miteinander verbunden. An beiden Enden ist jeder Balg mit einem eigenen Anschlußrahmen versehen oder die beiden Bälge können an jedem Ende mit einem gemeinsamen Anschlußrahmen versehen sein, ohne daß dies jedoch im einzelnen näher ausgeführt wäre (DE-A-3617325). Claims (15)

1. 2. Gangway protection according to claim 1, characterised in that each of the projecting and re-entrant guide means (10, 11) is in the shape of a convex or convax quadrisurface pyramid.
3. Gangway protection according to claim 1, characterised in that the actuating member (16) is a manually adjustable vertical rod (16) mounted for sliding in the direction of its longitudinal axis.
4. Gangway protection according to claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the inner bellows (1) and outer bellows (2) are so secured to the widened flanges (4b, 4c) of the outer end frame that whichever is the last corrugation is disposed behind the particular last flange concerned.
5. Gangway protection according to claim 1, characterised in that the vehicle-associated inner end frame (3) is contoured in the same way as the outer end frame (4).
6. Gangway protection according to claim 1 or 3, characterised in that the rod-like actuating member (16) is guided by means of plastics shoes or pads or the like (17) which are securd to the actuating member (16) and bear on inside surfaces of the hat cross-section (4) and of the plates (12).
7. Gangway protection according to claim 6, characterised in that the rod-like actuating member (16) is of rectangular cross-section, the pads or the like (17) being secured to its surfaces.
8. Gangway protection according to claim 6 and/or claim 7, characterised in that the rod-like actuating member (16) has a lateral hand grip (19 - 21) accessible through a slot (22) in the inner bellows (4).
9. Gangway protection according to claim 8, characterised in that the slot (22) is masked by a flap or tag or the like (24) of bellows material which has one end retained, together with one end of the inner bellows, in a clamping member (6a), the same being retained on a flange (4c) of the outer end frame (4).
10. Gangway protection according to claim 8, characterised in that the clamping member (6a) has the same cross-section as the clamping members (6) used to hold two consecutive corrugations of the inner bellows together.
11. Gangway protection according to claim 9 or 10, characterised in that the clamping member (6a) is retained on a flange (4c) of the outer end frame (4) by means of a resilient clamping member (7) which is biased into its clamping position by means of a clamping strip (9).
12. Gangway protection according to claim 8, characterised in that the slot (22) is closable by a slide fastener (23).
13. Gangway protection according to any of claims 4 to 12, characterised in that that flange of the hat cross-section to which the outer bellows is secured has a double-lip seal (27) on its outside.
14. Gangway protection according to any of claims 1 to 13, characterised in that the two vertical side parts of the end frame to be connected to the corresponding end frame of the second of the vehicles to be coupled together is stiffened in its bottom zones by a cross-member (25) having means for supporting the end frame on a central buffer coupling.
15. Gangway protection according to any of claims 1 to 13, characterised in that the two vertical side parts of the outer end frame (4) to be connected to the corresponding outer end frame of the second of the two vehicles to be coupled together are each suspended in a pull-rope or the like (26), one end of which is secured in the bottom zone of the side member of such end frame while the other end is secured to the top zone of the corresponding side part of the second inner end frame (3) of this arrangement.
