Luminaire, particularly an explosion-protected emergency luminaire, comprising a transparent, pot-shaped enclosing bowl (10) and a basic luminaire body (33, 60) connected thereto, in which connecting elements and a power supply unit with batteries (36) are accommodated, an intermediate plate (19) provided with an inside thread section (17), which inside thread section (17) is arranged on one side of the intermediate plate (19) and into which an outside thread (16) arranged on the enclosing bowl (10) is screwed, the basic luminaire body (33, 60) being mounted on the other side of the intermediate plate (19), characterised in that the enclosing bowl (10) consisting of thermoplastic material is firmly connected on its free edge with a flange (13) of metal which carries the outside thread (16), a peripheral radially outwardly projecting strip (11) being moulded on the free edge of the enclosing bowl (10), which strip is enclosed by an undercut (12) on the flange and a retaining ring (15) with interposition of a seal (14), and in that the inside thread section (17) is moulded on a metal ring (22) inserted in the intermediate plate (19) consisting of duroplastic material and firmly connected thereto.
  2. Luminaire according to Claim 1, characterised in that the seal (14) is cast in and produces freedom from mechanical stress in the enclosing bowl (10)/flange (13) joint.
  3. Luminaire according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the intermediate plate exhibits a plate-shaped section (19) and a cylindrical edge (18, 66) moulded thereon, on the inside wall of which edge the metal ring (22) is inserted.
  4. Luminaire according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the enclosing bowl (10) and the intermediate plate (19), together with the thread (16, 17), are dimensioned in such a manner that they form a pressure-tight unit.
  5. Luminaire according to Claim 4, characterized in that the inside thread and the outside thread are matched to one another in such a manner that an adequate air gap and an adequate gap length exist between the two in the fully screwed-in state so that protection against flame transmission is ensured.
  6. Luminaire according to one of Claims 1 to 7 [sic], characterised in that a powder-filled receiving space for batteries (36) is provided in the interior of the housing box (33).
  7. Luminaire according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that, on the side of the intermediate plate (19) facing the enclosing bowl (10), a support plate passing through the interior of the enclosing bowl (10) is mounted on the top side of which the fluorescent lamp (30) and on the bottom side of which a ballast device (31) is mounted.
  8. Luminaire according to Claim 7, characterised in that the support plate (24) is supported in the area of the bottom of the enclosing bowl (10) on a pin in such a manner that the support plate (24), together with the intermediate plate (19), can be rotated relative to the enclosing bowl (10).
  9. Luminaire according to Claim 7, characterised in that on the bottom (29) of the enclosing bowl (10), projecting from it in the direction of the edge of the enclosing bowl, a cylindrical switching web (27) is moulded on, in that a switch (28) connected into the feed line to the fluorescent lamp (30) is mounted on the support plate (24), the switching plunger of which switch slides on the edge of the switching web (27), and in that the support plate (24) is guided with a projection in the interior of the switching web (27).
  10. Luminaire according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that in the area of the receiving space for the batteries (35, 36), a switch (40) is provided which can be operated by means of a lid (42) which can be closed [sic] the housing box (33), in such a manner that when the lid (42) is removed the switch (40) is switched off.
  11. Luminaire according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that in the intermediate plate (19), a piston (46) with a compression spring (49) is provided, the piston rod (47) of which interacts with an electrical switch (51) located in the housing box (33), in that on the flange (13), a screw is provided which is displaceable [sic] the piston (46) together with the piston rod (47) in the switching-on direction of the switch (51), and in that a spring (49) interacts with the piston (46), which spring presses the piston rod (47) against the free end face of the screw (50) in such a manner that when the screw (50) is unscrewed, the spring (49) presses the piston with the piston rod (46, 47) away from the switch (51) as a result of which the switch (51) is switched off.
