Abstract

To create parking facilities for vehicles, a parking arrangement which is of substantially hull-like design and can be mass-produced in a dockyard or the like is proposed. <??>The parking arrangement (50), preferably produced from steel or reinforced-concrete parts, is divided into three parking levels (A, B, C) and is designed as a large-volume container which can be lowered under the surface of the water at the intended location. The parking arrangement (50) can be levelled at a correspondingly predetermined depth by means of suitable lifting and lowering devices (25, 25` and 26, 26`) which bore substantially into the ground as the result of the dead weight and the additional weighting elements (70, 70`) and are arranged at the longitudinal sides. In the operating state, the lifting and lowering devices (25, 25` and 26, 26`) are controlled and activated by sensors, so that even in the event of any changes in position, for example as the result of varying loading, an exact levelling of the parking arrangement (50) is guaranteed. <??>The entrance and exit for vehicles and the entrance and exit for people from and to the parking arrangement (50), and to one of the parking levels (A, B, C), is via two tunnels (55, 60) which are arranged spaced apart from one another at the longitudinal side and are connected to the sea shore or river bank, are of tubular design and are flanged to the longitudinal side. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a device for parking vehicles under a water surface, in particular under the water surface of an inland lake, consisting of a large-capacity container provided with at least one parking level, which can be lowered and stationed under the water surface and is connected to the shore via at least one bridge element .

The problem of creating parking facilities, in particular parking facilities in so-called urban agglomerations, is generally known. The solution to the problem by means of conventional parking garages or underground garages often fails due to the preparation of the building ground and the complicated building permit procedures and ultimately also because of the relatively high construction costs.

For example, it is also generally known to create a parking garage in a river bed drained by redirecting the natural river bed for the duration of the construction period in a concrete construction known per se and to release the natural course of the river again after the construction period has ended.

Furthermore, CH-A 520249 discloses a device for parking vehicles which can be lowered below a water surface and which can be stationed locally, which device is designed as a large-capacity container with parking levels lying one above the other and is connected to the shore via a correspondingly arranged bridge.

The invention is based on the object of improving a device of the type mentioned above such that it can be lowered below the respective water surface and supported on the bottom without any changes in the topographical structure of the naturally grown bottom.

According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the large-capacity container can be lowered by means of lifting and lowering devices arranged thereon and can be leveled in relation to the topographical conditions and the load-dependent changes in position, and also by means of at least one tunnel-like and flange-mounted tunnel for vehicle and passenger transport is connected to the river or lake shore.

The tunnel 55, not shown in FIG. 4, is preferably designed analogously to the tunnel 60.

The parking device 50 described above and designed as a large-capacity container 50 'can be manufactured industrially, for example, like a ship's hull made of steel or of prefabricated reinforced concrete parts and then transported to its destination, preferably towed to its destination in a floating manner. At the destination, the large-capacity container 50 'is flooded, so that it is lowered to a depth not influencing shipping, for example to about 10 m below the water level 4, due to the dead weight and the weight of the water masses absorbed. In this case, the lifting and lowering devices 25, 25 'and 26, 26' which are appropriately designed on the side facing the ground are drilled or pressed correspondingly deep into the ground. Then the two tunnels 55 and 60 are assembled, then the required weight elements 70, 70 'are applied, then the water is pumped out and finally the large-capacity container 50' is lifted and lowered by means of the hydraulic lifting and lowering devices 25, 25 'and 26, 26' brought into the required horizontal position.

The parking facility 50 is not tied to a specific location and can also be installed at another bank point if required without any special effort. In a variant, not shown, there is the possibility to support the parking device 50 carrying lifting and lowering devices 25, 25 'and 26, 26', this on appropriately arranged and embedded in the sea bed foundations and assemble. If the parking facility 50 were to change location, the foundations would remain in place.
