Claims (8)

  1. Safety lock (1) for a door, opening window or the like, comprising at least one sprung bolt (3), at least one deadlock bolt (4), control means (20, 6, 26) serving to bring these bolts (3, 4) into an opening position and a closing position in a striking box (5, 27) made in a door frame (2) and means (9, 11, 12, 13) for blocking the sprung bolt (3) in its closing position, the means for controlling the sprung bolt (3) comprising a lever (6) capable of being actuated about a first fixed point (7) of the lock in a plane substantially parallel to that in which the sprung bolt (3) moves and serving to bring the latter from its closing position into its opening position in opposition to a first spring (8), the blocking means comprising, on the one hand, a locking member (9) pivoting about a second fixed point (10) between a locking position, serving to block the sprung bolt (3) under the action of a second spring (11) in its closing position, and an unlocking position, in opposition to this second spring (11), permitting the sprung bolt (3) to pass from its closing position to its opening position and vice versa and, on the other hand, an auxiliary sprung bolt (12), which, when the sprung bolt (3) is in its closing position in the striking box (5), occupies a retracted position and serves to maintain the locking member (9) in its locking position, a transmission member (15) pivoting about a fourth fixed point (16) and interacting with the locking member (9) and the said lever (6), driving means (17, 18) being provided between this lever and the transmission member (15) and between the latter and the locking member (9) serving to bring this member (9) into an unlocked position at the moment at which the sprung bolt (3), under the action of the same lever (6), is brought into its opening position, a link member (19) being articulated on the deadlock bolt (4), this member (19) being capable of interacting with the means (26) for controlling the deadlock bolt (4) when the latter is in its opening position, in such a manner as to be capable of bringing the locking member (9) into its unlocked position and the sprung bolt (3) into its opening position, characterised in that the link member is formed by a linking rod (19) which is articulated both on the deadlock bolt (4) and on the transmission member (15), this rod (19) being capable of interacting with the means (26) for controlling the deadlock bolt (4) when the latter is in its opening position, in such a manner as to be capable of bringing, by acting upon this transmission member (15), the sprung bolt (3) into its opening position, which rod (19) interacts with the locking member (9) via a guide (24) provided on one of these two parts (9 or 19) moving in a guiding path (25) provided on the other part (9 or 19), the disposition and the shape of the guiding path (25) and of the guide (24) with respect to one another being such that the rod (19) can block the locking member (9) in its locking position when the deadlock bolt is in its closing position and such that it is possible to cause the locking member to pivot about the second fixed point (10) from its locking position to its unlocking position by acting upon the rod (19) via the means (26) for controlling the deadlock bolt (4) when the latter is in its opening position.
  2. Lock according to Claim 1, characterised in that the abovementioned first and fourth fixed points (7, 16) have a common axis of rotation, a driving member (17) being provided between the transmission member (15) and the lever (6), so as to permit this member (15) to be caused to pivot with the lever (6) while unlocking the locking member (9), when this lever (6) brings the sprung bolt (3) into its opening position.
  3. Lock according to either of Claims 1 and 2, characterised in that the auxiliary sprung bolt (12) interacts with a rocking part (13) which, when the sprung bolt (3) is in its closing position in the abovementioned striking box (5), occupies a retracted position while maintaining this rocking part (13), in opposition to a third spring (14), in a position sufficiently free with respect to the locking member (9) for the latter to be capable, under the effect of the second spring (11), of being maintained in its locking position.
  4. Lock according to any of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the abovementioned rod (19) is articulated by one of its ends on the transmission part (15) and, by its other end, on a fixed pin (22) of the deadlock bolt (4) extending through a guiding slot (23) made in this rod (19) substantially along the longitudinal direction of the latter.
  5. Lock according to any of Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that means are provided for blocking the locking member (9) in its locking position when the deadlock bolt (4) is in its closing position.
  6. Lock according to any of Claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the rod (19) is capable of disengagement so as to make it possible to actuate the sprung bolt (3) and deadlock bolt (4) completely independently of one another.
  7. Lock according to any of Claims 1 to 6, characterised in that it comprises at least two separate sprung bolts (3) situated at some distance from one another and interacting with one another via a mechanical or electrical transmission (28), so as to be capable of being actuated simultaneously.
  8. Lock according to Claim 6, characterised in that the transmission comprises a linkage (28) actuated by the transmission member (9).
