Claims (4)

1. Halbstarre Struktur mit einstellbarer Verformbarkeit in einer Richtung, insbesondere verwendbar für die Verwirklichung von ergonomischen Stühlen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie aus einer Reihe von parallelen Blöcken 5 aus starrem Material besteht, die miteinander mittels schmaler Rinnen 7 aus einem dünneren und/oder elastischeren Material, die sich über die gesamte Länge der Blöcke erstrecken, verbunden sind, wobei die Verformung der Struktur eine Abflachung der Gesamtheit der Rinnen ergibt, wobei eine solche Abflachung durch Rippen 8 begrenzt wird, die im Inneren dieser Rinnen angeordnet sind.
2. Struktur gemäß Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Verhältnis zwischen der Breite und der Tiefe einer jeden Rinne den Abflachungswinkel der Rinne auf ungefähr 1° begrenzt.
3. Anwendung der Struktur gemäß Anspruch 1 auf die Verwirklichung von verformbaren Stuhlbereichen und insbesondere einer Verbindungszone zwischen dem unteren Teil und dem oberen Teil der Rückenlehne eines ergonomischen Stuhls.
4. Anwendung gemäß Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Rückenlehne einen horizontal gewölbten Mittelbereich und zwei ebene Seitenbereiche umfaßt, wobei die Struktur gemäß den Ansprüchen 1 und 2 bei einer geeigneten Höhe im Mittelbereich angeordnet ist.
