- the joint distance b of the upper joint connections 21, 30 is approximately twice as large as the distance a of the lower joint connection 22, 24.
- the resulting "distorted" parallelogram makes it possible for the headrest to be pivoted backwards (see dash-dotted line) 5) executes a counter-pivoting in the area of the headrest. The headrest therefore does not perform a pure parallelogram or swivel movement, but a mixed movement of the two.
