Description

The invention relates to a boom attachment for surfing sail boards with a boom head piece made of plastic, which is integrally molded on a pipe bend made of aluminum or plastic for attaching the two spars of a boom and a jacket part receiving the pipe bend, one connected to it by at least one web, on the Mast slide-on sleeve, on which a locking element adapted to the mast is articulated, and has a quick-action closure for closing and opening the locking element for fastening the head piece to or releasing the same from the mast.

In such a boom mounting known from DE-GM G 84 18 494.9, the closure for attaching the boom head piece on the mast consists of a semicircular pressure plate which is movably connected on one side by a tamp loop with the boom and on the other side an approach has, in which to attach the boom head piece on the mast a loop formed by another rope is hooked, one end of which is connected after a more than 90 degree deflection by an eyelet screwed into the head piece to the clamping lever of a quick-action fastener articulated on the head piece, and the other end of which is fixed after a deflection of more than 90 ° by a further eyelet screwed into the head piece in a curry clamp attached to the boom. To connect. from the mast and boom, the pad loop is hooked into the pressure plate and the tension lever is turned, whereby the pressure plate of the boom head piece is pressed against the mast.
