Definitions

  • the invention relates to a roll stand with two or more pairs of roll stands with roll bearing supports (roll chocks) guided between the stands of the pairs, and cross members connecting these stands outside the roll bearing supports, which are driven by pressure medium supports with drivable, fixed in the stands, standing on them Threaded pillars are adjustable adjustable on the threaded pillars.
  • This roll stand design with employment of the supports of the vertical rolls via pressure nut supports placed independently of these on the threaded spindles should, on the one hand, avoid the otherwise usual support attachment for the vertical roll supports attached laterally to the stands for guiding the horizontal rolls and further facilitate the replacement of these vertical rolls with their supports, as well as also create the possibility to use horizontal rolls with a smaller than the usual diameter in duo rolling operation only with the horizontal rolls.
  • the invention is based on the object of further improving this known roll stand design, in order to also facilitate the removal of the horizontal rolls to the side or, in the case of roll stands with a swiveling upper cross bar connecting the two roll stands, an expansion of the horizontal roll sets upwards and an independent employment of both horizontal rolls to make possible.
  • This object is achieved on the basis of a rolling stand according to the preamble of claim 1 by an additional crossbar placed parallel or transversely to the respective crossbar on its side facing away from the roller bearing support on both threaded columns and connected to this, drive elements and drives which can be coupled to the pressure nuts of the pressure nut support .
  • the additional crossbeams can be arranged in a stationary or movable manner on the threaded columns, gearbox nuts mounted on the threaded columns and drivable by the drive elements being able to be coupled to the pressure nuts, and in the case of rolling stands with fixedly arranged additional crossbeams, the geared nuts are designed as axially toothed sliding couplings with the pressure lock nuts be.
  • the additional cross beams can be used are also designed to be pivotable about the longitudinal axes of the threaded columns.
  • the pressure nuts can be releasably connected to the crossbeams and can remain screw-connected to the respective threaded column in their swung-out state.
  • the roll stands are small, uncomplicated castings compared to the usual design.
  • a roll stand with a very high stiffness and high tolerance accuracy is created, because in this case the crossbeams are all very close to the the column part supporting the threaded column can be moved up and thus short column lengths arise because the protruding lengths of the threaded columns are outside the load frame of the roll stand.
  • the rolling stand designed here as a universal stand has, as can be seen from FIGS. 1, 2, 3 and 4, upper and lower pairs of vertically extending double column stands 1, 2 and 3, 4, respectively, which are cast on by upper cross bars 5 and lower Cross bars 6 are interconnected. Furthermore, the universal scaffold has lateral pairs of horizontal lateral guide lugs 7, 8 and pairs of feet 11, 12. These parts form the basic framework. In the vertical double column stands 1 and 2 there are pairs of threaded columns 1a, 2a or 3a, 4a, and upwards and downwards, and also in the pairs of horizontal lateral guide lugs 7, 8, here projecting to both sides of the roll stand, pairs of threaded columns 7a or 8a used stationary.
  • roller bearing supports (chocks) 9 and 10 of the rollers of the pair of horizontal rollers 15 are guided between the columns of the double column stands 1 and 2 (see FIGS. 3 and 4) and the support frames 13, 14 of the rollers of the pair of vertical rollers 16 (between the side guide lugs 7 and 8) 3, 4 and 5).
  • Upper crossbars 17, 18 and lower crossbars 19, 20 are slidably mounted on the pairs of threaded columns 1a and 2a (FIGS. 1 and 2), into which rotatably mounted pairs of pressure nuts 21, 22 and 23, 24 are inserted which are in screw connection with the threaded columns 1a, 2a or 3a, 4a.
  • upper additional crossbars 26, 27 and lower additional crossbars 28, 29 are arranged on the pairs of threaded columns 1a, 2a and 3a, 4a.
  • these each lie transversely to the upper crossbeams 17, 18 and the lower crossbeams 19, 20 and are screw-connected to the threaded columns 1a, 2a and 3a, 4a by means of pairs of gear nuts 30 and 31 which are mounted in them (cf. 1 bottom right).
  • the gear nuts 30, 31 are jointly driven by motors 32 and arrangements of articulated couplings 33 arranged on the additional crossbeams 26, 27 and 28, 29, respectively, and transmit the drive forces to the pressure nuts 21 mounted in the crossbeams 17, 18 and 19, 20 , 22 and 23, 24 respectively.
  • the support frames 13 and 14 of the rollers of the pair of vertical rollers 16 have support surfaces 13a on which pressure nuts 34 and 35 are supported.
  • the support frames 13 and 14 each form crossbeams which, unlike the upper and lower additional crossbeams 26, 27 and 28, 29, are not screw-connected to the pairs of threaded columns 7a and 8a, but rather by the pressure nuts 34 and 35 , which are stored in the additional crossbeams 36, 37 themselves, are displaceable on the threaded columns 7a and 8a.
  • the pressure nuts 34 and 35 are driven by gear nuts 38, 39 which are arranged in the additional cross members 36 and 37, respectively.
  • the upper crossbeams 17, 18 rest with lateral support lugs 42 on pressure tappets 43 of piston-cylinder units 44 (FIGS. 2 and 3) arranged on the double column stands 1, 2, while the roller support bearings 9 of the upper horizontal roller 15 on the piston rods 45 of pistons Cylinder units 46 hang, which in turn hang from the lifting attachments arranged on the crossbeams 17, 18, 47.
  • the upper and lower crossbeams 17, 18 and 19, 20 have pressure attachments 17a, 18a and 19a, 20a, which act on the roller bearing supports 9 and 10 of the upper and lower horizontal rolls.
  • the upper horizontal guides 48 for the rolling stock are hinged in a known manner in bearing blocks 49, which are connected by means of support plates 50 to that of the upper crossmember 17, 18, while the lower horizontal guides 51 are articulated on bearing blocks 52, which are correspondingly seated on support plates 60 , which are connected to the lower crossbar 19.
  • the vertical guides 53 for the rolling stock are likewise in a manner known per se on the one hand on the roller bearing support 54 with a steering bearing 53a and on the other hand with a further steering bearing 53b on a guide arranged on the side guide shoulder 7 or 8 of the rolling stand 55 guided bumper 56 articulated, the free end fixed to the support frame 13 or 14th of the roller bearing 54 is connected.
  • the roller support bearings 9 and 10 of the horizontal rollers 15 are acted upon from above or below by the pressure attachments 17a, 18a or 19a, 20a of the crossbeams 17, 18 or 19, 20 and moved in the direction of attack when the motors 32 of the associated additional Cross beams 26, 27 and 28, 29 drive the pressure nuts 21, 22 and 24, 25 via the gear nuts 30, 31.
  • the additional crossbeams 26, 27 and 28, 29 follow the movement of the crossbeams 17, 18 and 19, 20 synchronously in the direction of attack; but they can also remain stationary in an upper position if the gear nuts 30a, 31a, as described (FIG.
  • the movement of the two supporting frames 13, 14 carrying the vertical roller 16 in the storage directions is brought about with the aid of the pressure nuts 34, 35 arranged and mounted on the additional crossbeams 36, 37, this being because they are in their end faces rest only on the support surfaces 13a and 14a of the support frames 13, 14, which can only drive them in the direction of the rolling stock, while the movements in the opposite direction are effected by the push rod 57.
  • the vertical guides 53 for the rolling stock follow these movements as a result of their articulation at 53a on the roller bearing support 54 of the vertical roll 16 and 53b on the bumper 56 connected to the respective support frame 13, 14.
  • the upper crossbeams 17 and 18 can be moved from a working position shown in full lines (crossbeams 17) into a dismantled position (crossbeam 18) that allows the horizontal rollers 15 with their roller bearing supports 9, 10 to be removed upwards. be pivoted.
  • the associated pressure nuts 21, 22 remain on the threaded columns 1a, 2a.
  • the removal of the horizontal rollers 15 upwards, for example with the aid of a crane, is not prevented by the associated additional crossbeams 26, 27, because according to the invention these are transverse to the crossbeams 17, 18.
  • the support frame 13, 14 receiving the vertical roller 16 can be removed. These can also be lifted vertically upward from the threaded columns 7a, 8a, for example with the aid of a crane, with the particular advantage that the side guides 53 for the rolling stock can also remain on the respective support frames 13, 14.
  • the horizontal inclination of the center axis of the articulated coupling arrangement 41 between the motors 40 makes it possible to move the additional crossbeams 36, 37 also in the area of the drive coupling sleeves 60 seated on the pins of the pair of horizontal rollers 15, without the latter Extent to be hindered.
  • cross-beams can also be used in roll stands of the type described, on which the drive elements for the pressure nuts are arranged directly; there is also the possibility of using the mounting of the pressure nuts in the additional crossbeam used in the exemplary embodiment described for the additional crossbeams for the supporting frame of the vertical rollers, also for the additional crossbeams for the crossbeams acting on the horizontal rollers.
