Durch diese Bauweise kann der Tiefladewaggon eine gleich niedrige Trogladefläche wie ein üblicher haben. Da bei dieser Bauart kein zusätzlicher Tragrahmen benötigt wird, ist der Waggon nicht schwerer als ein üblicher Tiefladewaggon. Der Ein- und Ausschiebevorgang kann entweder mit Seilwinden oder Spindeln oder Zylindern erfolgen. Um einfaches Ein- bzw. Ausschieben zu ermöglichen, ist es vorteilhaft, entweder die Federung dazu zu blockieren oder die Fahrgestelle abzustützen. Dadurch ist eine konstante Höhe der Oberkanten der Fahrgestelle gegeben und es kommt zu keinem Verspannen der Führungsmechanismen und es wird unnötiger Kraftaufwand und Verschleiß verhindert. Weiters kann ein pneumatischer oder mechanischer Hubmechanismus für die Führungen auf den Fahrgestellen eingesetzt und somit unterschiedliche Höhen zwischen Schienenoberkante und Perron ausgeglichen werden.Thanks to this design, the flatbed wagon can have the same low trough loading area as a conventional one. Die Tiefladebrücke 1 wird mit den Winden 2 und 3 von den Fahrgestellen 5 auf den Perron gezogen. In Fig. 6 ist ein Zylinder 12 für eine alternative Ausführung, die zum Ein- und Ausfahren anstelle von Winden Zylinder benützt, dargestellt. Der Zylinder 12 ist gelenkig gelagert. Die teleskopische Kolbenstange 13 hat zwei Rol len 14 an ihrem Ende, um ein leichteres Bedienen zu ermöglichen und Beschädigungen zu vermeiden. Der Hub des Zylinders 12 ist so groß wie die, für den Ausziehvorgang benötigte Wegstrecke. Der ebenfalls am Ende der Kolbenstange 13 angebrachte Haken 15 ist schwenkbar und wird von Hand an der, an der Tiefladebrücke 1 angebrachten Halterungen 16 eingehängt.
