Abstract

A chassis frame is supported on a front steering axle and a rear steering axle. Between the two axles and beneath the chassis frame, a hollow support serving as a main blow duct is pivotingly disposed. Raisably and lowerably connected to the support via levers is a sweeping-brush roller. Connected to the support are blowing nozzles which lead air supplied by a fan mounted on the chassis frame into a blow duct formed by a cover plate disposed in front of the sweeping-brush roller. Disposed within the blow duct are two suction ports which are connected via dirt-suction pipes to a vacuum-sweepings container disposed on the chassis frame. The outlet of the vacuum-sweeings container is connected at a dismantling point to an air-suction duct which is in turn connected to the intake of the fan. This cleaning vehicle can be used for snow clearance by opening a flap and closing another flap in an air-outlet pipe piece and by moving an operating lever from a middle position into either of two end positions.

Description

The invention relates to a cleaning vehicle according to the preamble of patent claim 1.

The European patent application published under number 0 189 371 describes a snow removal machine with a chassis frame which is supported on a front steering axle and a rear axle. A traction motor is used to move the snow removal machine. A sweeping brush roller extending transversely to the longitudinal direction of the machine is arranged between the front and rear axles. A hollow support, which also serves as a blown air duct, is pivotably arranged on the underside of the chassis frame and the sweeping roller is articulated on the support mentioned above by means of levers. The outlet side of a fan is connected to the blast air duct, which distributes the blown air to various blower nozzles arranged in the working direction in front of the brush brush. A working motor is used to drive the fan and the brush roller. A snow plow is arranged on the front of the known snow-clearing machine and pushes most of the snow lying on the ground to the left or right in accordance with its inclination to the longitudinal axis of the machine. Remaining snow on the ground is blown to the side by the above-mentioned blowing nozzles in the same direction below the chassis frame. Any snow remnants adhering to the ground are swept by the sweeping brush roller into the area of the blowing nozzles and also blown away. This known snow removal machine is very well suited for clearing the runways at airports, but not for keeping these runways clean during the snow-free time.

Furthermore, for example from CH-PS No. 482 876 a device for cleaning surfaces by means of an air stream is known, which device has a pick-up head movable over the surface to be cleaned, a blower for generating the air stream on the pick-up head and a collecting container for the picked up dust . The recording head is box-shaped and along the edge there are elastic curtain elements for forming a substantially closed space on the underside of the recording head. The pick-up head has a compressed air duct opening through a slot in the space mentioned and a suction duct leading out of the space through which the dust whirled up by the supplied compressed air is sucked into the collecting container. With this known device, dust and dirt can only be absorbed from the snow-free ground and this device cannot be used for snow removal.

The known and expensive devices described above have the disadvantage that they can only be used in winter or only in summer.

It is an object of the invention to provide a cleaning vehicle, which equally as large-area snow spaces machine with snow plow and snow sweeper, as well as a large area suction sweeper suitable 'is to give the same cleaning vehicle can be used throughout the year, thereby increasing the efficiency.

The cleaning vehicle according to the invention is characterized by the features stated in the characterizing part of patent claim 1 ' .

Particular embodiments are specified in the dependent claims.

The cleaning vehicle shown in FIGS. 1 to 4 has a chassis frame 1, which is supported by means not shown on a front steerable planetary axis 2 and a rear, optionally also steerable planetary axis 3. In the front area of the chassis frame 1 there is a driver's cab 4. Behind and below the driver's cab 4 there is a drive motor 5 which drives the front planetary axle 2 and optionally also the rear planetary axle 3. A steering mode switching device (not shown) arranged in the driver's cab 4 allows the driver to switch to the front-wheel, four-wheel or dog-gear steering as required. With all-wheel steering, the rear axle follows the track of the front axle and inevitably causes the sweeper to be guided in the track of the cleaning vehicle even when cornering. When switching to crab steering, all four wheels swivel in the same direction, which leads to a diagonal shift of the cleaning vehicle. Obstacles can be avoided and maneuvering is made easier.

The chassis frame 1 is formed in the area between the front and rear planetary axes 2 and 3 by cranking in such a way that the greatest possible free space is created between the roadway and the chassis frame for receiving the sweeper.

A working motor 6 is arranged in the area above the rear planetary axis 3. This drives two or, as required, more hydraulic rotary piston pumps, which in turn drive a powerful radial blower 7 and a brush brush drive, not shown, via two axial piston motors, not shown.

The outlet 8 of the radial blower 7 is connected via a pipe 9 to a hollow support 10, which also serves as the main blowing air duct. The carrier 10 is connected to the chassis frame 1 via a three-point suspension 11 fastened to the chassis frame 1 and a turntable 12 fastened to the carrier 10 so that it can pivot about a vertical axis. Of the two extreme pivoting movements of the carrier 10, one in each case is shown in broken lines in FIGS. 2 and 4. With the carrier 10, a sweeping brush roller 14 is connected via a handlebar 13, which can be lifted off or lowered onto the floor via hydraulic drive cylinders (not shown). The sweeping brush roller 14 is formed in two parts and can be rotated by a chain drive (not shown) arranged in the middle of the sweeping brush roller 14. An embodiment of such a chain drive is described in more detail with reference to FIG. 9 in the European patent application mentioned at the beginning, published under number 0 189 371.

Above the sweeping brush roller 14 is a curved protective shield 15 which extends over the entire length of the sweeping brush roller 14. The protective shield 15 covers the upper half of the sweeping brush roller 14 and prevents snow, dust or dirt from being thrown upwards by the same. A rubber protective flap 16 extends downward from the rear end of the protective shield 15. A cover plate 17 is arranged on the front of the sweeping brush roller 14 and, together with the sweeping brush roller 14 and the base 18, forms a blowing duct 19 which extends over the entire length of the sweeping brush roller 14.

The cleaning vehicle shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 is prepared for snow removal. For this purpose, a snow plow 20 of a known type is mounted on the front of the cleaning vehicle. The snow plow 20 can be pivoted about a vertical axis so that the snow is pushed to the left or to the right.

In der Mitte des Trägers 10 und unterhalb des Drehkranzes 12 ist eine einstellbare Umlenkvorrichtung 21 mit einer nicht sichtbaren und um eine horizontale Achse schwenkbare Luftumlenkklappe angeordnet, die über einen Bedienungshebel 22 in eine von drei Stellungen gebracht werden kann.FIG. 5 shows a simplified diagrammatic representation of the sweeper device set for winter operation, which connects the support 10 serving as the main blowing duct, which is pivotably connected about the vertical frame via the turntable 12 and the three-point suspension 11 to the chassis frame 1 (not shown in FIG. 5) 5, and comprises the sweeping brush roller 14, which can be raised and lowered via the handlebars 13 (not shown in FIG. 5). In the middle of the carrier 10 and below the turntable 12, an adjustable deflection device 21 is arranged with an invisible and pivotable about a horizontal axis air deflection flap which can be brought into one of three positions via an operating lever 22.

In the position of the operating lever 22 shown in FIG. 5, the invisible air deflection flap is also pivoted to the right in relation to FIG. 5, so that all air entering the deflection device 21 via the pipeline 9 is guided into the left half of the carrier 10 . On the left half of FIG. 5 of the main blowing air duct formed by the carrier 10, two blowing nozzles 23 and 24 are connected, which open into the blowing duct 19 through the cover plate 17, not shown in FIG. 5, and are directed to the right. On the right half of FIG. 5 of the main blowing air duct formed by the carrier 10, two blowing nozzles 25 and 26 are connected, which extend through the non-visible cover 17 into the blowing duct 19 and are directed to the left. At each end of the main blowing air duct formed by the carrier 10 there is a closable blowing nozzle 27 and 28, which is arranged behind the rubber protective flap 16 in the working direction. These two closable blow nozzles 27 and 28 are directed towards each other.

33 angeschlossen. In the working direction in front of each half of the sweeping brush roller 14, a suction mouth 29 or 30 is arranged under the cover plate 17, see FIGS. 1 and 2. The suction mouths 29 and 30 are connected to the underside of the carrier 10 via parallelogram-like links 31 and can be used with With the help of hydraulic working cylinders, not shown, be raised to an upper position or lowered into the working position. A dirt suction pipe 32 or 33 is connected to each suction mouth 29 and 30.

An air outlet connection 34 is arranged on the top of the pipeline 9 and can be closed by means of a flap 35 indicated by dashed lines. The flap 35 can be operated by an operating lever 36.

As already mentioned, the reverse blowing device shown in FIG. 5 is set for winter operation, ie for snow removal. The operating levers 22 and 36 are in the position shown, so that the entire amount of air conveyed by the radial fan 7 reaches the left-hand half of the main blowing air duct formed by the carrier 10 in relation to FIG. 5 and thus to the blowing nozzles 23, 24 and 27. Through the rectified blow nozzles 23 and 24 is within the blow duct 19, see Fig. 1, before Sweeping brush roller 14 generates an air flow which conveys all loose snow in the blowing duct 19 to the right in relation to FIG. 5. At most, snow adhering to the ground 18 is brushed into the blow duct 19 by the subsequent sweeping brush roller 14, which is driven in the direction of the arrow 37, and is captured by the air flow mentioned. Finally, any remaining snow remaining behind the sweeping brush roller 14 is blown away by the blowing nozzle 27.

The suction mouths 29 and 30 which are not required for snow removal are in their uppermost position so that the air flow mentioned is hampered as little as possible.

For this purpose, a dirt hopper 38 is placed on the chassis frame 1, which can be tilted about a horizontal axis 39 for emptying. The rear of the sweepings suction container 38 can be closed tightly by a closure cover 40. The dirt suction pipes 32 and 33 and an air suction duct 42 which can be connected to the inlet 41 of the radial blower 7 are detachably connected to the sweeping material suction container 38 via a separation point 43 arranged in an inclined plane. Within the sweeping material suction container 38 there is a filter screen 44, indicated by dashed lines, which keeps the suctioned dirt away from the radial fan 7. The sweeper shown in Fig. 6 is set for sweeping operation. The operating lever 22 is in the middle position, so that air reaches both halves of the main blowing air duct formed by the carrier 10 and the blowing nozzles 23, 24, 25 and 26. The blowing nozzles 27 and 28 arranged behind the rubber protective flap 16 are by means not shown, e.g. matching lid, closed. Furthermore, the flap 35 in the air outlet connection 34 is partially open, so that part of the air conveyed by the radial fan 7 can escape to the outside. In this way, a slight negative pressure is created in the blow duct 19, which prevents dust from escaping from the blow duct 19. Integrated in the dirt hopper 38 or outside it, a water tank (not shown) can be arranged for the water spray system (not shown in more detail), which is usually required for dust binding.

The suction mouths 29 and 30 are lowered into the working position and the sweeping brush roller 14 is driven in the direction of arrow 37 at a reduced speed in comparison to snow clearing operation. The radial fan 7 sucks air through the suction mouths 29 and 30, the dirt suction pipes 32 and 33, the sweepings suction container 38 with the filter sieve 44 and the air suction duct 42 and thereby causes, when the flap 45 is closed, that in the sweepings suction container 38, the suction pipes 32 and 33 and the Suction mouths 29 and 30 creates a negative pressure. The flap 45 is opened when the sweeping material suction container 38 is not dismantled when the cleaning vehicle is in winter operation.

In the suction mouths 29 and 30, and if necessary outside the same, the dust is bound by supplying small amounts of spray water from the water tank (not shown), so that the radial fan 7 sucked in through the filter screen 44, respectively. blown air is as dust-free as possible. The sweeping brush roller 14 supports the work of the blowing nozzles 23 to 26 by loosening stuck dirt or debris not removed from the blowing nozzles and throwing them into the area of the blowing nozzles 23 to 26 or feeding them directly from behind to the suction mouths 29 and 30.

In this way, it is possible to use the same cleaning vehicle with the same work unit as a powerful sweeper for snow removal as well as an equally powerful sweeper, and thus create a year-round work machine with all its advantages. For the operating team, the handling becomes more familiar and thus the use safer. The permanent operational readiness is better ensured and the overall space requirement for the accommodation is less.
