Description

The invention relates to a flat roof vent consisting of an upper part pipe and a lower part pipe, with a support plate arranged at a distance from the lower end and penetrated by the ventilation pipe for supporting the roof covering film, and with a head section of larger cross section provided at the upper end of the upper pipe lying in overlap with the lower part pipe.

The two-part generic flat roof vent has a helpful effect when laying the roofing membrane. Flat roof ventilators of this type are also distributed in printed form by the applicant's brochure, "Safety and Quality for the Roof" (Imprint 3/86/80 OC). The top tube and down tube are assigned to a plug-in assignment. Thus, after the roof covering film has been glued, the top tube, which generally has a head section with a larger cross-section, can practically be slipped on last. So it is not in the way of the assembly work and on the other hand it is not damaged. It can also be based on a smaller free cut, since the film does not have to be put over the thick head.

The object of the invention is to design a generic flat roof vent without increasing the number of parts even easier to assign, this with increased stability in use.

This object is achieved by the invention specified in claim 1.

The subclaims are advantageous developments of the flat roof vent according to the invention.

As a result of such a design, a generic flat roof vent of particularly high utility value is achieved: the screw connection leads to a load-stable bond, even if only part of the thread is engaged, which, for. B. occurs when different lengths of the covering film which is turned up like a collar in the passage area have to be compensated for. The close proximity of the screw connection point to the support plate creates a mutually highly stabilizing zone; the screwing forces and the torsional effect that occurs, for example, when the threaded section is fully run through, despite the possibility of using very small wall thicknesses, pose no problem. Also possible later loosening, for example, to put on another head piece, such as. B. a hood basket, an antenna feedthrough, a driving rain-proof hood, etc., is easily possible at any time. A particularly favorable weather-related configuration of the screw connection point results from the fact that the upper part tube forms the screw nut part with its widened, lower end. Flowing rain cannot enter the connection point. In this context, an advantageous embodiment is further provided by a ring apron protruding downwards from the widened end, which protrudes over the edge of the collar of the roof covering film. This represents an equally simple and effective sealing measure in the critical area of the passage point of the ventilation pipe. This solution is optimized by an overlap space between the apron and the outer surface of the lower part pipe. The ring apron is designed in the manner of a bell, the edge of which forms a protective jacket, but on the other hand due to the free space ensures that the collar dries quickly and allows, for example, fiber cement to be pressed in for sealing purposes.

The subject matter of the invention is explained in more detail below on the basis of an illustrative embodiment. It shows
  • 1 is a side view of the flat roof vent according to the invention, in the screwed state,
  • 2 the same in vertical section, in unscrewed condition,

  • Fig. 4 is an enlargement of Fig. 1, that is, in the screwed state.

The flat roof vent shown consists of an upper pipe I and a lower pipe II. These are injection molded plastic parts.

A flange-like support plate 1 is integrally formed on the outside of the lower pipe II. The latter extends in a vertical plane to the central axis x-x of the flat roof vent, i.e. horizontally. It is designed as a ring disc with a bevelled edge on the top.

The axial support plate distance to the lower end 2 of the lower part pipe II is greater than the corresponding distance to the upper end of the lower part pipe II.

Dieses oberseitige Ende trägt das Bezugszeichen 3. Der Durchmesser der Stützplatte 1 entspricht etwa dem drei- bis vierfachen Durchmesser des Unterteilrohres II.This upper end has the reference number 3. The diameter of the support plate 1 corresponds approximately to three to four times the diameter of the lower pipe II.

Insgesamt befinden sich acht Durchbrechungen 4 in der Stützplatte 1.The support plate 1 has, at a short distance from the periphery, hole-like openings 4 for the passage, not shown, fastening means which secure the connection of the lower pipe II to the flat roof structure 5. The support plate 1 is supported on the upper side thereof. For the passage of the lower pipe II, the flat roof construction 5 has a vertical bore 6, preferably adapted to the cross section. The openings 4 are spaced at the same angle. There are a total of eight openings 4 in the support plate 1.

The upper part pipe I is in overlap with the lower part pipe II. This overlap of the upper part pipe I and lower part pipe II is realized as a screw connection point SV arranged just above the support plate 1.

The internal thread 7 of the top tube I is in the widened, lower end 8. It forms the screw nut part. The peripheral jump is in line with the thickness of the pipe wall.

Unterteilrohr II.The corresponding external thread 9 lies in an inverse jump zone 10 of the upper end 3 of the lower part pipe II. The corresponding widenings or thickenings on the one hand create stabilized thread engagement zones, but on the other hand bring no disadvantage in terms of flow technology because of the small projection. The axial length of the threads 7/9 corresponds to approximately one fifth of the maximum clear pipe diameter of the upper pipe I or lower pipe II.

The widened or compressed end 8 can have an axial grooving, this to increase the grip and thus facilitate screwing or unscrewing. By polygonal conditions can also be created for the application of a wrench.

Sämtliche Übergangskanten der gewindebildenden Abschnitte sind gefast. All transition edges of the thread-forming sections are chamfered.

Die Zuordnung ist wie folgt:The assignment is as follows:

Fig. 4. After attaching the lower pipe II, the roof covering film 11 is considered. To overlap the end 3 of the lower part pipe II projecting upward like a nozzle over the support plate 1, it is necessary to cut out the film or a cross-slit. Care should be taken to ensure that there is still sufficient stock to form a flip-up collar 12, see FIG. 4. This collar 12 nestles tightly into the ring groove between the support plate 1 and the lateral wall of the lower tube II there. The collar can be made in the usual manner be glued to it so that this critical zone is defined.

This is followed by screwing on the upper part tube I, which has a head section 13 of larger cross-section at its upper end. The exemplary embodiment is a non-driving rain-proof hood which has a number of horizontal, axially spaced-apart annular fins 14 and ends on the top side with a flat-conical roof 15. As can be seen, the ring lamellae 14 and the roof edge protrude from the outer wall of the top tube I. Due to the two-part structure, the top tube I can be put on after the roofing work has been completed or can be easily replaced at any time later.

In order to give the top tube I a more extensive function, in this regard the procedure is such that a flared ring apron 16 extends from the widened end 8, which, in a rotationally symmetrical configuration, extends over the upper edge 12 'of the collar 12 of the roof covering film 11. Rainwater running off on the outside of the flat roof vent cannot penetrate into the joint between the collar 12 and the jacket wall of the lower pipe II.

B. deflektierten Schlagregen abzuhalten.Rather, this collar zone extends into an overlap free space 17 between the ring apron 16 and the lateral surface of the lower tube II there. The overlap free space can remain open in the manner shown below or, if necessary, can also be cemented in order, for. B. to prevent deflected driving rain.

I.A corresponding bell-like ring apron 16 can be molded at the same time by a further expansion step of the basically cylindrical tube body of the upper part tube I.

Using tough-elastic material, the ring apron 16 also has a certain adaptability to non-uniform collar zone sections. Otherwise, the ring apron 16 also acts in a position-centering manner; it represents a kind of catch funnel for the screwing which takes place after being placed on the lower pipe II. The ring apron 16 is shown in dash-dotted lines.

All the new features mentioned in the description and shown in the drawing are essential to the invention, even if they are not expressly claimed in the claims.
