Definitions
- the invention relates to a multi-position commutation isolator for high and medium voltage switchgear according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such a multi-position commutation isolator for high and medium voltage switchgear is known from DE-OS 35 06 383.
- the multi-position commutation isolator described there is used for the uninterrupted switching of feed lines or cable outlets to the main and auxiliary busbars.
- the feed lines or cable outlets are galvanically connected to the main busbar.
- the feed lines or cable outlets are connected to both the main and the auxiliary busbar, which is done by means of a sliding contact arrangement.
- the feed lines or cable outlets are galvanically connected to the auxiliary busbar.
- the feed lines or cable outlets are separated from the main and auxiliary busbars.
- DE-OS 34 12 399 discloses a high-voltage device designed as a three-position switch (operating position, disconnected position, earthing position) which is suitable as a load-break switch and earthing switch.
- the three-position switch is designed with a switching arm that can be swiveled around a fixed point.
- a switching element preferably a vacuum interrupter, is arranged in series with the separating distances in the insulating medium that arise in the middle position. The uninterrupted commutation of a current is not possible with this switching device.
- Disconnectors are generally switching devices in electrical power distribution systems. They normally switch off almost without current. When switched on, isolators must be able to carry operating and short-circuit currents. Disconnectors with the task of uninterrupted commutation of currents are also known, for example, from EP 01 26 882. There, however, two separate isolators are required for commutation.
- the invention is based on the object of specifying a multi-position commutation isolator for high and medium voltage switchgear of the type mentioned, with which load and / or short-circuit currents from one busbar or line to another Busbar or line can be commutated quickly and without interruption even if an inductively fed commutation arc arises, for example by coupling between the phases.
- a current flowing via the main current path can be commutated quickly and without interruption to one or alternatively to one of two or more secondary current paths or vice versa from a secondary current path to the main current path, even if when commutating currents from one busbar to another busbar, a commutation arc occurs due to an inductive voltage.
- Such an inductive voltage as a result of the coupling of the phases is present in outdoor switchgear and in three-phase encapsulated gas-insulated switchgear.
- the short switching times of up to a few 10 ms required for fast current commutation are achieved constructively, among other things, by keeping the masses to be moved small.
- the multi-position commutation isolator can therefore e.g. advantageously be made with SF6 gas filling, which allows small insulation distances and consequently small moving masses.
- the extinguishing devices must advantageously only be designed for a return voltage of generally less than 1000V and are therefore not expensive in terms of effort Quenching devices of the circuit breakers of the corresponding voltage level comparable.
- Low-voltage or medium-voltage vacuum interrupters which are integrated in the current path can therefore advantageously also be used as the extinguishing device.
- Mechanical integration of the vacuum interrupter in the movable arm of the disconnector has spatial advantages, but leads to larger masses to be moved and thus longer switching times or greater drive energies required, and is disadvantageous in this regard.
- An integration of the vacuum interrupter in the main current path of the isolator, as proposed in DE-OS34 12 399, also has the disadvantage that the contacts are constantly subjected to the current.
- the separation, connection and commutation functions of the multi-position commutation isolator can be carried out by a single mechanical drive. Only one single multi-position commutation isolator is required per infeed or outgoing line of a switchgear with a main busbar and two or more auxiliary busbars.
- the multi-position commutation isolator thus enables the construction of a switchgear that is significantly less expensive than conventional switchgear with minimal circuit breaker effort.
- the multi-position commutation isolator 1 with drive 2 has four external connections 3, 4, 5 and 6.
- the external connections 3 or 5 or 6 are directly connected to internal contacts 7 (main current path contact) or 8 or 9 (secondary current path contacts).
- the isolator 1 has two earth contacts 10 and 11, respectively.
- the external connection 4 is connected internally to a contact pin 12 movable by the drive 2.
- the contact pin 12 is provided at its freely movable end with a sliding contact 13 (movable contact device) for optional connection to the contacts 7 to 9 or earth contacts 10, 11.
- the internal electrical connection from terminal 3 to terminal 4 is called the main current path and the connections from terminal 4 to terminal 5 and from terminal 4 to claim 6 are called secondary current paths.
- the switching position shown in Fig. 1 of the movable contact pin 12 and the attached sliding contact 13 is just such that the main current path 3-4 is closed.
- 2 to 5 are a commutation from the main current path 3-4 to the secondary current path 4-5 and then the separation and the subsequent grounding shown via the earth contact 10.
- 2 and 3 show two phases of uninterrupted commutation from the main current path 3-4 to the secondary current path 4-5.
- the sliding contact 13 connects the contact 7 of the main current path 3-4 to the contact 8 of the secondary current path 4-5. Uninterrupted commutation can take place in this phase.
- the end of commutation is shown in Fig. 3.
- the connection between the sliding contact 13 and the contact 7 of the main current path 3-4 is interrupted, so that the current flow now occurs exclusively via the contact 8 of the secondary current path 4-5.
- connection 4 an incoming or outgoing line connected to connection 4 is grounded.
- a first exemplary embodiment of a multi-position commutation isolator 14 is shown in perspective in FIG. 6.
- the isolator 14 has three internal contacts 15 (bypass contact) or 16 (main contact) or 17 (bypass contact), beneath which there are contact pins 18 or 19 or 20 (movable contact device).
- contacts 15, 16, 17, devices for blowing the arc that arises during the commutation process are integrated, so that they are extinguished (see, for example, Burkhard, GmbH GmbH der Elektroenergietechnik, VDE-Verlag, Berlin, Offenbach 1985, pages 104 to 110).
- the devices provided in the example according to FIG. 6 for blowing the commutation arc differ from the known devices for blowing the arc in circuit breakers in that they are specially matched to the low return voltage during the commutation process and are therefore comparatively very simple compared to the known devices.
- the contact pins 18 or 19 or 20 are mounted so that they can move vertically in guide sleeves 21 or 22 or 23.
- the movements of the contact pins 18, 19, 20 can be coordinated in a mechanically coupled manner via a link slide 24.
- the coordinated control of the movements of the contact pins takes place by means of guide pins 25 or 26 or 27 which are fixedly connected to the contact pins 18 or 19 or 20 and which are guided in the slot of the link slide 24 which can be displaced horizontally in both directions.
- the contact pins 18 or 19 or 20 are electrically connected at their ends facing away from the contacts 15, 16, 17 via flexible connecting lines 28 or 29 or 30 to a common connection 31.
- connection 31 is with a feed or outgoing line, the contact 16 with a main busbar, the contact 15 with a first auxiliary busbar and the contact 17 is connected to a second auxiliary busbar.
- the internal connection from contact 16 to connection 31 is referred to as the main current path and the connections from contact 15 to connection 31 and from contact 17 to connection 31 as secondary current paths.
- the contact pin 19 is connected to the contact 16 of the main current path, while the contact pins 18 and 20 have no electrical contact with the contacts 15 and 17 of the secondary current paths.
- the main current path 16-31 is therefore closed via the contact pin 19 and the connecting line 29, while the secondary current paths 15-31 and 17-31 are open. If the sliding block 24 is now shifted to the left, for example, the contact pin 18 is first driven by the guide pin 25 and is moved upward and the secondary flow path 15-31 is thus closed. Thereafter, the contact pin 19, - driven by the guide pin 26, - down, whereby the main current path 16-31 is opened. A current which initially flows through the main current path 16-31 is commutated without interruption onto the secondary current path 15-31.
- the multi-position commutation isolator 14 can be provided with further contacts and contact pins / guide sleeves in order to additionally enable grounding.
- FIG. 7 shows a second exemplary embodiment of a multi-position commutation isolator 32.
- the isolator 32 has three contacts 33 (secondary current path contact), 34 (main current path contact), 35 (secondary current path contact) and a central commutation sliding contact 36.
- the commutation sliding contact 36 (movable contact device) has three adjacent contact segments 37, 38, 39, which are separated from one another by means of insulating pieces 40, 41, the contact segments 37, 38 being arranged at the outer ends of the commutating sliding contact 36 and the contact segment 39 is located in the middle between the segments 37, 38 or between the insulating pieces 41, 40.
- the commutation sliding contact 36 is attached to the movable end of a pivot arm 42 which can be pivoted about a pivot point 43.
- the rotary arm 42 is mechanically fixedly connected to an electrically insulating cam 44, which can also be pivoted about the same pivot point 43.
- the movable contact 47 of a (single) vacuum interrupter 46 see, for example, Burkhard, switching devices of electrical engineering, VDE publishing house, Berlin, Offenbach, 1985, pages 110 to 111), that is, the vacuum interrupter 46 can, depending on the current position the cam 44 can be switched on and off via the movable contact 47.
- the switching capacity of the vacuum interrupter is adapted to the commutation voltage (inductive voltage due to the coupling between the phases).
- the two outer contact segments 37, 38 of the commutation sliding contact 36 are electrically connected to one another by a bracket 45.
- the bracket 45 is connected via a flexible connecting line 49 to the movable contact 47 of the vacuum interrupter 46.
- the middle (inner) contact segment 39 of the commutation sliding contact 36 is electrically connected to a terminal 52 via the rotary arm 42 and a flexible connecting line 50.
- the fixed contact 48 of the vacuum interrupter 46 is also electrically connected to the terminal 52 via a flexible connecting line 51.
- the drive which pivots the rotary arm 42 and the cam plate 44 about the pivot point 43 is identified by the number 53.
- connection 52 is connected to a feed or outgoing line, the contact 34 to a main bus bar, the contact 33 to a first auxiliary bus bar and the contact 35 to a second auxiliary bus bar.
- the internal connection from contact 34 to connection 52 is referred to as the main current path and the connections from contact 33 to connection 52 and from contact 35 to connection 52 are referred to as secondary current paths.
- the contact of the contact segment 39 with the contact 34 is initially maintained.
- the vacuum interrupter 46 is closed immediately after contact of the contact 33 with the contact segment 37, in that the movable contact 47 of the vacuum interrupter 46 is pressed into the "on" position (downward) by a trapezoidal cam of the cam 44 .
- the contact segment 39 still contacts the contact 34 in this switching position, i.e. the electrical connection 34-39-42-50-52 remains.
- a pre-ignition arc takes place inside the vacuum interrupter, i.e. there is a current flow from the connection 52 via the connecting line 51, the fixed contact 48, the vacuum interrupter 46, the movable contact 47, the connecting line 49, the bracket 45 and the contact segment 37 to the contact 33.
- the multi-position commutation isolator 32 can be provided with further contacts in order to additionally enable grounding.
- a plurality of vacuum interrupters or other commutation arc extinguishing devices can also be used, for example the extinguishing of the resulting arc with low return voltage can be supported by magnetic blowing or gas blowing (e.g. using sulfur hexafluoride) (see, for example, Burkhard, switching devices of electrical engineering) , VDE-Verlag, Berlin, Offenbach, 1985, pages 88, 104 to 110, 218).

Abstract
Description
-
