Definitions

  • the invention relates to a venetian blind according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such venetian blinds are known (DE-C-3 419 215).
  • Most known venetian blinds essentially consist of a sheet of soft material, mostly textile material, to the lower end of which a number of pull cords are attached, which - usually guided by guide rings or eyelets - run vertically upwards and close to one of the buildings connected hanging bar detachably fastened upper end of the fabric by deflecting elements such as further loops or rings redirected into the horizontal and thereby combined into a bundle of strings.
  • deflecting elements such as further loops or rings redirected into the horizontal and thereby combined into a bundle of strings.
  • a pull on this bundle of strings usually after another deflection downward, causes the lower edge of the fabric to be raised and thus the curtain to be gathered.
  • the deflecting elements used to deflect the pull cords from the vertical to the horizontal on a support or Leiszte e.g. are attached in the form of screw eyelets, all pull cords must be pulled out of these deflecting elements individually before removal of the curtain and also individually re-threaded during reassembly,
  • a proposal which has become known - DE-C-3 419 215 C1 - to simplify the removal and re-hanging of roman blinds provides for the deflection elements for the pull cords to be arranged on the curtain side carrying the pull cords.
  • the only way of applying these reversing elements, which is disclosed in this proposal and also used in practice, is to provide them on a tape-like support fastened to the curtain, on which the curtain is sewn or glued on.
  • the present invention overcomes these disadvantages with a roman blind of the type mentioned, as characterized in claim 1.
  • a method for producing the deflecting element according to claim 1 is specified.
  • the special deflecting elements are individually connected to the fabric of the gathering curtain at any point without using band-like supports, preferably sewn on or sewn on, but also glued or glued on.
  • a deflection element essentially consists of a fastening plate which is firmly connected to an eyelet suitable for the passage of the pull cords and preferably made of one piece with this, which can be firmly connected to the curtain material, preferably sewn on or in.
  • both the fastening plate and the eyelet connected to it consist of flexible and washable plastic, preferably polyamide.
  • Figures 4 and 5 relate to similar embodiments, in which the previously required space for eyelets or rollers behind the Roman blind is no longer required.
  • Figures 4a and 5a are views of the sections along the lines IVa-IVa and Va-Va of Figures 4b and 5b.
  • Figures 4b and 5b are sections along lines IVb-IVb and Vb-Vb of Figures 4a and 5a.
  • the mounting plate 10 is attached to the upper end of the roman blind material, which forms a loop 12 running over a rod 11 or a welt 14, rod 11 or welt 14 being fixedly connected to the building, e.g. by the carrier 13.
  • a preferred embodiment described below also avoids this disadvantage in that an anchoring device is created for the pull cord, which can also be attached to the bar or rail on which the Roman shade hangs.
  • the anchoring device essentially consists of a tube which can be connected to the rail, strip or the like, to which the Roman shade is fastened, through which the pull cord or the pull cord bundle is pulled and to its lower end, which is made of elastic material such as polyamide Slot suitable dimensions is attached, in which the protruding from the tube end of the pull cord or the pull cord bundle in any part length can be clamped and freed again by slightly compressing the pipe end.
  • This slit should be long enough to be able to pinch all cords of the cords of the cords bundle or at least the far overwhelming part of them.
  • the optimal slot length depends on the number and thickness of the cords to be clamped as well as on the elasticity of the pipe end and is generally 30 to 50 mm.
  • the length of the slot should not be significantly shorter than 20 mm, while an extension of the slot over approximately 80 mm no longer brings any further advantages.
  • the clear width of the tube is not critical, it is sufficient that the pull cord or the draw cord bundle can move in it practically without resistance when not locked.
  • FIGS. 7a and 8a are rear views and FIGS. 7b and 8b are views of sections along the lines VIIB-VIIB and VIII B-VIII B.
  • 1 means the fabric of the Roman blind
  • 2 the pull cords
  • 3 the eyelets through which the pull cords run
  • 10 is a fastening plate which is firmly connected to the eyelet 3 and which enables the eyelet to be fastened to the fabric of the Roman blind.
  • 4 is a rail on which the roller blind material is fastened by means of Velcro strips 7 and which in turn is fastened to the building in any manner and therefore not shown.
  • the mounting bracket 20 which in the example shown in the elastic material e.g. Steel existing rail 4 can be snapped in and out, the locking tube 9 is connected, etc. preferably via a hinge 19, about which it can be folded parallel to the rail 4 if necessary, who can.
  • This rotatable arrangement of the locking tube 9 facilitates transport and storage and reduces the risk of injury due to careless handling during assembly and disassembly.
  • the pull cord or drawstring bundle 2 is pulled through the locking tube 9.
  • the lower end 15 of the locking tube 9 is provided with a slot 16 in which the protruding end of the draw cord bundle can be clamped. Since the main part of the locking tube 9 should preferably consist of a more rigid material than its lower end 15, the lower part is expediently in the form of a sleeve 15 made of a different material on which a more rigid material, e.g. Rigid PVC or polyacrylonitrile main part with a Recess 22 put on and preferably glued.
  • the upper end of the main part of the locking tube 9 is also expediently uncovered with a sleeve 18 which is connected to the hinge 19.
  • FIG 8 differs from that shown in Figure 7 only in that the hinge 19 connected to the locking tube 9 does not snap into a rail 4 via a mounting bracket 20, but via an angle bracket 21 on the bar firmly connected to the building is attached.
  • FIGS. 9a and 9b This situation is shown in general in FIGS. 9a and 9b for all known venetian blinds, the elements hidden by visible parts being shown in dashed lines.
  • FIG. 9a is the overall view of a gathering curtain with associated stores
  • FIG. 9b is an enlarged section of the left edge of FIG. 9a with the stores omitted.
  • 1 is the curtain fabric
  • 10 are the drawstrings
  • 3 are the deflecting elements for the drawstrings
  • 40 are the stores located in front of the roman blind.
  • the deflection elements are attached to the front of the curtain fabric, e.g. sewn on, while the vertical parts of the pull cords and their associated guide elements remain arranged on the back.
  • the upper part of each pull cord is guided above the uppermost guide element through a hole in the curtain fabric on its front side and inserted into the deflecting element fastened to it - suitably as close as possible to the through hole.
  • the measure can take into account the deflection elements together with the horizontal parts of the pull cords passed through them behind a panel, eg hide a strip of curtain fabric. A fold of the curtain itself is preferably used for this purpose.
  • Figure 10 is a section along the line X-X of Figure 11.
  • FIG. 11 is a view from the right of FIG. 10, in which the left part of the fold 26 of the curtain fabric 1 is folded back in order to show the deflecting device which it conceals in the normal state more clearly.
  • 1a is the front and 1b the back of the curtain fabric 1.
  • 2 are drawstrings, 22 the guide elements attached to the curtain fabric 1, through which the vertical parts of the drawstrings are guided.
  • 3 are the deflection eyelets and 10 the fastening plates connected to them, which are attached to the curtain fabric etc. are preferably sewn on or sewn on.
  • 7a and 7b are the two parts of a Velcro fastener with which the rear part of a fold 26 of the curtain fabric 1 is detachably fastened to the hanging ledge 8 which is firmly connected to the building.
  • 23 are the holes in the curtain fabric 1 through which the upper parts of the pull cords 2 are passed. The edges of these holes can be secured by reinforcing eyelets 24 which, like the deflecting elements (3, 10), are expediently made of washable material, preferably polyamide.
  • the lower edge of the curtain fabric is equipped with a fastening device for the lower ends of the pull cords, which is both practically invisible and thus aesthetically absolutely satisfactory, as well as ensuring a detachable yet completely reliable attachment of the pull cords to the curtain fabric.
  • It consists essentially of a strip of flexible material slotted over part of its length, the two ends of which are folded in a U-shape and in the slot of which there is a thickening attached to the end of the pull cord, e.g. a knot, can be pinched, the two ends can be reliably connected to one another with the aid of means known per se, but are nevertheless easily detachable.
  • This U-shaped folded strip is accommodated together with the end of the pull cord clamped in it in the pocket or loop formed by the curtain fabric and intended for receiving the drop or weight rod.
  • FIG. 12 is the front view of the lower part of a roman blind equipped with the fastening device according to the invention.
  • Figures 13 and 14 are sections along the Lines XIII-XIII and XIV-XIV of Figure 12 for two different variants of this embodiment of the invention.
  • FIG. 14 is a detailed view of the strip 30 with the slot 31 intended for the variant according to FIG. 13.
  • Figure 16 is the slotted strip 30 intended for the variant according to FIG. 15.
  • one end 30a of the U-shaped strip 30 with one (in FIG. 13, the left) inside and its other end 30b with the end (right) inside is the one formed by the curtain material for receiving the
  • the drop rod 27 is fixed to the pocket 28, in the example shown by the seam 35.
  • this is inserted into the slot 31 with a thickening 33 - in the example shown a knot - provided end 32 of the pull cord easily accessible and can be easily pulled out of the slot and clamped again.
  • the pins 36 which are preferably provided with thickened ends at the end of the strip, are inserted into the holes 37 located at the opposite end 30b and snap in there, the slot 31 and the thickened area (knots) 32 become inaccessible from the outside and can no longer be moved by random movement be separated.
  • the long-known push buttons are preferably used for this variant instead of simple pins and holes, as shown in FIG. 14.
  • the slot 31 it is important to dimension the slot 31 so that it does not extend significantly beyond the bending point 33 of the strip 30 and preferably ends before this.
