Auch wird dadurch die Kondenswasserbildung nicht gemindert. Damit möglichst wenig Kälte in den Innenraum geleitet und ein Festfrieren der Türdichtung an der Bodenschwelle vermieden wird, ist bei dieser Ausgestaltung auf der im montierten Zustand dem Innenraum zugewandten Fläche der Bodenschwelle und ihrer Türanschlagfläche eine Auflage aus einem Isoliermaterial angebracht, die mittels einer Klemmverbindung befestigt ist. Auf diese Weise wird zwar eine thermische Trennung zwischen dem äußeren und dem inneren Fußbodenbelag angestrebt, die aus einem metallischen Werkstoff hergestellte Bodenschwelle ist jedoch groß bemessen und ragt weit in den Falzbereich bis in die unmittelbare Nähe der Dichtung hinein, so daß eine starke Kälteabstrahlung unumgänglich und somit eine ausreichende Isolierung trotz der Auflage des Isoliermaterials mitunter nicht gegeben ist. Auch kann sich auf der aus Aluminium hergestellten Bodenschwelle leicht Kondenswasser bilden.     the protection strip against weather (11; 21; 31) comprises two profile sections (12, 13; 22, 23; 32, 33) which can be interconnected beside the support (5) on the window-frame or door-frame (1), whereby the profile section (12; 22; 32) arranged on the outer side of the window or door is manufactured from a metallic material and the profile section (13; 23; 33) arranged on the inner side is manufactured from an insulating material and whereby the abutment point (20; 30; 40) for the seal (4) is formed by the web (19; 30; 39) arranged on the profile section (13; 23; 33) manufactured from an insulating material.

    characterized in that,
    to interconnect the two profile sections (12, 13; 22, 23; 32, 33), one of the profile sections (12; 22; 32) is provided with a locating aperture (14; 24; 34), said aperture being by preference parallel to the support (5) on the window-frame or door-frame (1), and the other profile section (13; 23; 33) is provided with a shaped projection (15; 25; 35) which matches the locating aperture (14; 24; 34) and is held in same.

    both profile sections (12, 13; 22, 23; 32, 33) are glued together in the locating aperture (14; 24; 34).
  5. Protection strip as claimed in one or more of claims 1 to 4,
    characterized in that

    the profile section (22) made of a metallic material is provided with a locating flange (28) arranged beside the locating aperture (24), said flange locating on the support (5) of the window-frame or door-frame (1).
  9. Protection strip as claimed in one or more of claims 1 to 4,

    the profile section (33) made of insulating material is provided with a web projection (38) which extends over the support (5) of the window-frame or door-frame (1), thereby forming one leg of the locating aperture (34) and being supported against the profile section (32) made of a metallic substance.
  10. Protection strip as claimed in claim 8 or 9,
    characterized in that
    the protection strip against weather (21; 31) is secured to the window-frame or door-frame (1) by means of the screws (29) which extend through the profile sections (22, 23; 32, 33) beside the locating aperture (24; 34) and through the shaped projection (25; 35) which locates in said aperture.
