It might be that in the non-prepublished European patent application 204,381 (publication date December 10, 1986) it has been indicated that a substructure construction for an artificial grassfield can be obtained from a mixture of sand and cuttings or fibres of an elestomeric material, but these cuttings or fibres have a length of 10-40 mm and a thickness of 1-4 mm. This means that one used small sheets having a thickness being about 10% of the length .

When the damping power is too small the playing surface is relatively hard and the chance of getting injured is too great.Therefore it is very difficult to construct a substructure construction for a field of artificial grass whereby the final result is that the sportsman experiences the artificial grass as much as possible the same as a field of natural grass.

Claims (6)

1. Procédé pour réaliser une construction en infrastructure pour un terrain de gazon artificiel par établissement d'une fondation sur une couche de sable qui est présente ou qui a été aménagée, ladite fondation étant constituée pour la plus grande partie par du sable rond naturel ou du sable de rivière auquel est ajoutée une substance d'origine organique en une quantité supérieure à 1% en poids, calculée d'après la quantité de sable, caractérisé en ce que 60-70% en poids du sable de rivière sont distribués uniformément parmi une quantité de 40-30% en poids de particules de caoutchouc, la partie principale des particules ayant une épaisseur supérieure à la longueur des particules.
2. Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les particules de caoutchouc proviennent de pneus de véhicules broyés mécaniquement, la plus grande partie des particules ayant une granulométrie de 6-11 mm et étant exemptes de textile et d'acier.
3. Procédé selon les revendications 1-2, caractérisé en ce que le remplissage ou charge de la matrice de caoutchouc par les particules de sable est stimulée par l'addition d'une quantité d'eau s'élevant jusqu'à 10% en poids pendant le mélangeage du sable et des particules de caoutchouc.
4. Procédé selon les revendications 1-3, caractérisé en ce que le mélange de caoutchouc et de sable est appliqué sur la fondation sur une hauteur de 4-20 cm.
5. Procédé selon les revendications 1-4, caractérisé en ce que les particules de caoutchouc et les grains de sable ont sensiblement le même poids.
6. Terrain de gazon artificiel constitué par une construction en infrastructure et une couche supérieure comportant des fibres synthétiques, caractérisé en ce que la construction en infrastructure est appliquée comme décrit dans les revendications 1-5.
