Claims (4)

  1. Machine pour border et rétreindre des deux côtés des corps (7) de boîtes cylindriques, notamment des boîtes d'aérosols ou de boissons, dans laquelle le bordage et la rétreinte s'effectuent en une opération, et dans laquelle sont prévues, pour recevoir les corps de boîtes (7), au moins deux têtes de bordage et de rétreinte (8; 9) qui peuvent être entraînées en rotation et enfilées axialement en directions opposées dans le corps de boîte respectif (7), et qui sont munies chacune d'un disque en nutation (21) qui peut coulisser radialement et qui est appuyé centralement sur une pièce conique (24) qui peut coulisser axialement contre un ressort (23), et dans laquelle est associé, à chaque tête de bordage et de rétreinte (8; 9), un bras pivotant (26) qui est équipé d'un rouleau de bordage et de rétreinte et qui, à l'aide d'au moins une came commande (31), peut pivoter, autour d'un axe parallèle à l'axe de rotation du rouleau de bordage et de rétreinte, de telle sorte que le rouleau de bordage et de rétreinte est amené en et hors d'engagement avec le disque en nutation (21), en formant le bord rabattu à rétreinte du corps de boîte (7), caractérisée en ce qu'en vue de former des corps de boîtes (7) à partir de tôles à double réduction ou autres tôles d'une dureté Rockwell d'au moins 60 HR 30T, deux rouleaux de bordage et de rétreinte (32; 33), disposés conjointement sur des axes parallèles (32a; 33a) à l'extrémité libre du bras pivotant (26), sont associés à chaque disque en nutation (21), en ce que les rouleaux (32; 33) agissent chaque fois simultanément sur le corps de boîte (7) à usiner et déforment ce dernier d'un manière progressivement croissante, vu dans son sens de rotation, au moins un des rouleaux étant fixé avec possibilité de déplacement par rapport à l'autre rouleau et contre le disque en nutation (21).
  2. Machine selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que le rouleau (33), qui est disposé plus à l'extérieur à l'extrémité libre du bras pivotant (26), est maintenu dans le bras pivotant (26) avec possibilité de pivotement autour de l'axe de rotation (32a) de l'autre rouleau (32).
  3. Machine selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisée en ce que le rouleau (33), qui est disposé plus à l'extérieur à l'extrémité libre du bras pivotant (26), est réalisé avec un diamètre inférieur à celui de l'autre rouleau (32).
  4. Machine selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisée en ce que le rouleau (33), qui est disposé plus à l'extérieur à l'extrémité libre du bras pivotement (26), est réalisé plus étroit que l'autre rouleau (32), au moins dans la région périphérique par laquelle il s'engage dans le corps de boîte (7).
