Definitions

  • the invention relates to a rope pulley with a freely rotatable roller on a hanging device and a relatively thin auxiliary rope running over it, for example made of nylon, which is stored over its entire length when not in use and which hangs down on both sides of the roller when unwound, whereupon a stronger, more resilient rope can be pulled over the reel, which can be attached to a winch at one end and connected to a rescue device, for example a basket, at the other end, with a holding device for the auxiliary rope, which can be removed remotely, for example by means of a release line (FR-A 2 168 717).
  • a release line FR-A 2 168 717
  • the object of the invention is to wind the thin auxiliary rope, with which a more resilient rescue rope can later be pulled over the reel, if necessary, in a rope pulley of the type mentioned in such a way that it, when the holding device is released, independently of the Roll rolls, but in the unrolled state hangs down on both sides of the roll.
  • the holding device for the auxiliary rope is a lock that blocks the reel, the auxiliary rope being wound onto the reel in the blocked state of the reel, in such a way that the unwound auxiliary rope, the two end strands of which are on both sides Hang the reel down approximately the same length, one end strand next to the other end strand is brought up to the reel and then coiled with it by rotating the reel, and that a weight hangs on both rope ends.
  • the rope pulley With the rope pulley according to the invention, it is possible from below, i.e. from the ground floor of the house to operate the release line, whereupon the lock is released and the auxiliary rope is pulled to the ground by the weight attached to it and unrolled from the roll.
  • this auxiliary rope which is relatively thin, for example a nylon rope, so that it can be wound on the reel, a stronger, resilient rope can then be pulled over the reel. If this stronger rope is attached at one end to a winch or a vehicle, for example a truck, it can be used to pull up a basket or cabin on the outer wall of the building up to the top floor.
  • the rope pulley according to the invention can be used in the manner described above to carry out maintenance work on the facade of a building.
  • the use of the rope pulley is also not limited to buildings.
  • the rope pulley according to the invention could also be used on ropeways, again in order to carry out maintenance work or also to possibly remove passengers from stuck ropeway gondolas and the like. dgf. to abseil.
  • a magnet is arranged on the sheathing of the roller and an iron seal or the like is arranged on the rope.
  • An embodiment of the invention shows a radially downwardly projecting bracket, which projects between the end strands, and through which the end strand brought to the other end strand is pulled through when the auxiliary rope is wound up.
  • This bracket guarantees that the auxiliary rope is correctly aligned when it is unwound and prevents the auxiliary rope from becoming tangled.
  • a cover cap surrounding the upper half of the roller is advantageously provided, the lateral distance between the cover cap and roller being smaller than the diameter of the auxiliary rope.
  • This cover cap not only means protecting the auxiliary rope and the roller against the effects of the weather, it also prevents the auxiliary rope from jumping out of the guide groove of the roller by surrounding it very closely.
  • An embodiment of the invention provides that the lock comprises a hook that snaps into a hole in the roller.
  • the lock and the release line are separated from the roll when the lock is released.
  • the complete separation of the locking element from the roll has two advantages. First, it ensures 100% that the lock does not accidentally snap back into place during a rescue operation, for example, and may render the role unusable. Secondly, this means that the roller, if it is guided, for example, on a running rail that extends across the width of the facade, is pulled along the rail from below along the cable
  • Another advantageous exemplary embodiment provides a protective covering against UV rays that covers the lower half of the roll.
  • This protective covering is made of plastic, for example, and is intended to prevent the auxiliary rope, which is generally left on the reel for a very long period of time, from becoming defective until the time of use.
  • the protective covering can advantageously be removed from the rope pulley together with the release of the lock.
  • the two rope ends are connected with the same weight. As a result, the two rope ends are loaded in the same way, and swinging around is also avoided.
  • Fig. 1 shows schematically a side view of a rope pulley according to the invention, namely attached to the facade of a house;
  • Fig. 2 shows a side view of the pulley at the start of winding the auxiliary rope;
  • 3 shows a side view of the pulley with the auxiliary rope wound up;
  • 4 shows a view of the reel with the peripheral auxiliary rope in the axial direction;
  • Fig. 5 shows a view of the roller in the radial direction.
  • the rope pulley 1 is movably mounted on a running rail 2.
  • the running track 2 is located just below the roof end 3 on the facade, and preferably at a short distance from the facade of the building.
  • the cable pulley 1 has a pulley 4 which is mounted on the hanging device 20 and over which the auxiliary cable 5 is guided.
  • auxiliary rope 5 is drawn in the operating position, i.e. handled. Normally, the auxiliary rope 5 will be wound on the reel 4, so that the front of the building is free.
  • a lock 6 is provided on the pulley 1, which prevents the pulley 4 from rotating.
  • the lock 6 can be triggered by an unlocking point 9, for example, via a release cable 7, which is guided down and protected in a tubular casing 8 along the outer wall of the building.
  • the auxiliary rope 5 is wound up, as can be seen from FIG. 2, in such a way that the end strand 5 ′ is brought up to the second end strand 5 ′′ and then both end strands are wound onto the roller 4 in the same direction in the direction of the arrow 5.
  • a magnet 10 is advantageously provided on the roll 4 and an iron seal 11 on the auxiliary rope 5.
  • the roller 4 is provided with holes 12 in which the hook 13 of the lock 6 engages.
  • the rope pulley 1 is advantageously provided with a joint 16 so that it can assume different angular positions or a stronger rope pulled by the auxiliary rope 5 over the roller 4 can be guided obliquely to the facade of the building.
  • a bracket 19 is provided which surrounds the lower part of the roller 4.
