- CH-PS 479 95O One end of the winding of the release coil of the magnetic release device is welded onto this bracket.
- the present invention has for its object to provide a circuit breaker of the type mentioned of simple and reliable working construction, the magnetic release device and the movable contact part form a compact unit that takes up as little space as possible, which are also easy to assemble and with other components can be installed in a switch housing.
- the mounting of the holder carrying the movable contact part on the magnetic release device, preferably on its release coil, can be carried out in a simple manner thanks to the snap connection by plugging the holder together with the movable contact part onto the release device.
- connection between the holder and the magnetic release device is designed as defined in claims 2 to 5.
- the holder is preferably connected to one end of the winding of the trigger coil, while the movable contact part is mounted on a bearing pin attached to the holder.
- a desired rapid opening of the switch contact in the event of a short circuit is achieved in accordance with claim 9 in that the magnetic release device has an armature which is designed as a tie rod which is intended to act on the movable contact part.
- FIG. 1 A part of a phase of a three-phase circuit breaker is shown in FIG.
- the three phases have the same structure, which will now be described with reference to the figures.
- the switching contact 1 of each phase is formed by a fixed contact part 2 and a movable contact part 3.
- a magnetic trigger device 4 and an arcing chamber 5 with arcing plates 6 are assigned to this switching contact 1.
- the fixed contact part 2 is formed in one piece with an arc guide plate 7, which extends to the arcing chamber 5.
- the fixed contact part 2 carries a contact element 8 which interacts with a contact element 9 of the movable contact part 3.
- This contact element 9 is fastened to a contact carrier 10, which is connected to two connecting parts 11, 12 running at a distance and parallel to one another.
- the two connecting parts ll, l2 are rotatably mounted on a bolt l4, which conduct electricity from a bracket l5 the material, preferably copper, is attached.
- the two connecting parts 11, 12 are connected to one another at their ends via a U-shaped bracket 16.
- an extension l7 and, on the other hand, a stop lug l8 are formed, as can be seen particularly clearly from FIGS. 2 and 5.
- a coupling member l9 is rotatably mounted on the bolt l4. On this bolt l4 there is also a torsion spring 2O, which is supported with one end 2Oa on a shoulder 2l of the coupling member l9 and with the other end 2Ob on the stop lug l8 of the movable contact part 3 (FIG. 2).
- a stop part 22 is also formed on the coupling member l9, with which the coupling member l9 is supported on the extension l7 of the movable contact part 3 under the action of the torsion spring 20.
- the coupling member 19 is further provided with a protruding cam 23 (FIG. 2) which engages in the fork-shaped end 24a of an actuating element 24. This actuating element 24 forms part of the switch drive common to all phases, which is not shown in the figures.
- the magnetic release device 4 has a release coil 25 with a coil body 26 made of plastic, which carries a winding 27.
- the latter is welded with its one end 27a to an L-shaped connecting part 28, which is designed as a connecting terminal 29.
- the other end 27b of the winding 27 is welded to one leg 15a of the holder 15.
- This leg 15a is formed in one piece with an arc guiding element 30, which extends along the trigger coil 25.
- a sheet 3l made of ferromagnetic material is attached to the arc-guiding element 30, which commutates one when the switching contact 1 opens favored arc on the arc guide element 3O favored.
- an armature 32 Arranged in the interior of the coil body 26 is an armature 32 which can be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the coil and which runs between the connecting parts 11, 12 of the movable contact part 3 and is intended to engage with these connecting parts II, 12 with its end 32a.
- the armature 32 cooperates with this end 32a with a trigger element 33, which forms part of the switch triggering device.
- each holding member 34, 35 is provided with a resilient tongue 36 and 37, respectively.
- the two tongues 36, 37 are slightly towards each other, i.e. bent inwards.
- the leg 15a of the holder 15 is clamped between the ends of these tongues 36, 37 and the flange 26a of the bobbin 26.
- the holder l5 sits on the holding member 35, as can be seen in particular from FIG. 3.
- this leg l5b of the holder l5 engages with a projection 38 a projecting nose 39 which is formed on the holding member 35.
- the holder 15 is held in the manner of a snap connection on the coil body 26.
- a displacement of the holder l5 transversely to the direction of action of the tongues 36, 37, i.e. transverse to the longitudinal axis 26achse of the coil is prevented on the one hand by the support of the leg 15b on the holding member 35 and on the other hand by the extension 38 engaging behind the nose 39.
- Fig. L the switch is shown with closed switch contact l.
- the actuating element 24 is pivoted counterclockwise. This has the result that the coupling member l9 is rotated clockwise. Since the coupling member l9, as already mentioned, rests with the stop part 22 on the extension l7 of the movable contact part 3, the movable contact part 3 is immediately taken along with this rotational movement of the coupling member l9 and moved away from the fixed contact part 2.
- the two contact elements 8, 9 are thus quickly separated from one another.
- An arc that forms when the switching contact l opens opens immediately on the arc guide plates 7 and 3O.
- the actuating element 24 is pivoted clockwise, which results in a rotation of the coupling member l9 in a counterclockwise direction.
- This rotational movement of the coupling member 19 is transmitted to the movable contact part 3 via the torsion spring 20.
- the movable contact part 3 is pressed against the fixed contact part 2 by the torsion spring 20 acting as a contact pressure spring.
- the magnetic tripping device 4 responds, with the result that the armature 32 is withdrawn. Since its end 32a, as already described, engages the connecting parts 11, 12 of the movable contact part 3, the backward movement of the armature 32 causes the movable contact part 3 to become fixed standing contact part 2 moved away and the switch contact l torn. At the same time, the trigger element 33 is carried along, whereby the switch trigger mechanism is actuated.
- the assembly of the magnetic release device 4 and the holder l5 for the movable contact part 3 can be done in a very simple way by plugging the holder l5 onto the magnetic release device 4 in the direction of the longitudinal axis 26 Sp of the coil body 26.
- the resilient tongues 36, 37 bent back a little and then snap back into their rest position, in which, as already mentioned, they press the leg l5a of the holder l5 against the flange 26a of the bobbin 26 and thus hold the holder l5.
- the extension 38 on the leg 15b of the holder 15 comes together with the projecting nose 39 on the holding member 35.
- the assembly consisting of magnetic release device 4, bracket l5, bolt l4, movable contact part 3, coupling member l9 and torsion spring 2O is of a very compact and space-saving design and is not only very easy to assemble, but also quick and easy to install in the switch housing, in which the appropriate building blocks for the other phases as well as other components, such as the bimetallic release and the common switch drive.
- circuit breaker described can also be designed in different parts differently than as described and illustrated. Only a few of the different possible variants are mentioned below.
- a projecting rib 42 can be provided on one holding member 34 or 35 or on both holding members 34 and 35, which extends in the direction of the longitudinal axis 26 ⁇ of the bobbin 26.
- This rib 42 engages in a recess 43 provided laterally on the leg 15a of the holder 15.
- a second recess can be provided on the opposite side edge of the leg 15a, into which a rib on the holding member 35 engages.
- the rib 42 engaging in the recess 43 causes a displacement of the holder 15 in a direction transverse to the effective direction of the tongues 36, 37, i.e. transverse to the bobbin longitudinal axis 26 ⁇ , prevented. This supports the effect achieved by the extension 38 and the nose 39.
- the snap connection between the holder l5 and the triggering device 4 can also experience a configuration other than that shown.
- the resilient tongues 36, 37 instead of the holding members 34, 35 on the leg 15a of the holder 15.
- 34, 35 are on the holding members Provide jumps on which the tongues on the leg l5a abut and prevent the bracket l5 from moving.

Abstract
Description
