Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for the adjustment-free manufacture of an electromagnetic relay with a base body and with a longitudinally inserted through a cavity of the base body anchor or contact tongue, the fastening end of which is glued into the grooves of the base body by means of laterally formed fastening tabs, the free end of the Anchor or contact tongue is aligned between two pole plates during the solidification of the adhesive.
- the object of the present invention is to improve the method of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that an even more precise alignment of the contact tongue during manufacture is made possible with simple and easy-to-control means.
- this object is achieved in that, during the solidification of the adhesive, the contact tongue is periodically switched over by means of an alternating magnetic field generated between it and the two pole plates until the adhesive has solidified.
- the alternating excitation can already be applied during the assembly of the contact tongue.
- the contact tongue is drawn exactly into the narrow air gap between the two pole plates and aligned between them, so that the risk of mutual damage between the pole plates and the contact tongue is avoided.
- the alternating magnetic field can be generated, for example, by coupling the two pole plates to poles of the same name in a permanent magnet arrangement and by periodically switching the contact tongue by means of a coil excited with alternating current of a predetermined frequency.
- the permanent magnet arrangement can be formed from one or more permanent magnets, which are coupled directly or via ferromagnetic yokes to the two pole plates.
- the relay to which the invention is applied is a polarized system.
- the relay's own magnet system can be used for adjustment, namely a permanent magnet arrangement lying against the pole plates and the excitation winding of the relay applied to the base body.
- an external permanent magnet in combination with the relay coil instead of the relay permanent magnet arrangement to be assembled later, or to connect an external excitation coil for production adjustment with an external permanent magnet arrangement.
- the excitation current can be generated, for example, with a rectangular alternating voltage applied to the relay's own or the externally coupled coil.
- the frequency can preferably be 50 Hz, since this frequency can be derived most easily from the mains voltage.
- the mechanical properties of the relay in particular the contact tongue and the curing speed of the adhesive, determining the upper and lower limits for the frequency to be selected.
- the duty cycle of the AC voltage is preferably chosen symmetrically, at least when the relay is to have a bistable switching characteristic.
- Fig. 1 shows - partly in section - schematically a relay, as it is shown and described in more detail in DE-OS 33 38 198.
- This relay has a coil former 1 with a winding 2 and a longitudinal opening in the axial direction through the coil former 3, in which is arranged a contact tongue or anchor spring 4 extending in the axial direction.
- the contact tongue 4 has, at its fastening end 4a, laterally formed fastening tabs, by means of which it is mounted in grooves 1a and fastened by introducing quick-curing adhesive.
- the exact design of the contact tongue and the coil body in this area is shown in the aforementioned DE-OS 33 38 198.
- the contact tongue is between see two pole plates 5 and 6 switchable, these two pole plates are polarized in the finished relay by a permanent magnet arrangement placed on the front. Depending on the direction of the excitation current in the winding 2, the contact tongue is brought into contact with the pole plate 5 or the pole plate 6 and held there by the permanent magnetic force.
- the end of the contact tongue 4b should be positioned as precisely as possible in the middle between the two pole plates 5 and 6 - without being influenced by the permanent magnet arrangement.
- the contact tongue with its lateral contact surfaces should be aligned as parallel as possible to the pole surfaces 5a and 6a of the two pole plates in order to actually maintain the intended contact distances at all points.
- this positioning is achieved in that, during the curing of the adhesive, the contact tongue 4 is periodically switched between the two pole plates at a predetermined frequency of, for example, 50 Hz.
- the aforementioned periodic switching can be carried out according to FIG. 1 with a simple arrangement.
- a permanent magnet 7 is coupled to the two pole plates 5 and 6 via two yokes 8 and 9.
- a voltage U for example a square-wave alternating voltage of 50 Hz
- the permanent magnet arrangement 7, 8, 9 can be removed, and it is shown that the contact tongue 4 is aligned very precisely between the pole plates 5 and 6 and very well parallel to the pole faces 5a and 6a. In this way, optimal double contacting of the relay is guaranteed.
- the relay's own magnet can also be used if this is cheaper in the production process.
- an externally coupled winding can be used, which is pushed over the two yokes 8 and 9, for example.
- Such an external winding can, however, also be provided with its own core and coupled to the two yokes 8 and 9 with a pole face of this core on the end side.
- the adjustment described can also be carried out without using a permanent magnet arrangement.
- a case is shown schematically in FIG. 2.
- the relay with the coil former 1 and the pole plates 5 and 6 is again shown.
- Two yokes 18 and 19, each carrying a coil 20 and 21, are coupled to these two pole plates.
- An excitation alternating voltage U corresponding to FIG. 1 is applied via two diodes 22 and 23 between the winding starts 20a and 21a and winding ends 20b and 21b in such a way that one of the coils 20 and 21 is alternately excited and then in each case via the associated one Yoke 18 or 19 couples a magnetic flux to the associated pole plates 5 or 6.
- the contact tongue is switched over periodically and aligned between the two pole plates 5 and 6 until the adhesive has hardened.

Description
21 a und Wicklungsenden 20b bzw.
