Claims (9)

1. Laundry dryer framework which can be opened out in the manner of an umbrella and has a hollow mast body (2, 2', 2") which serves as the support for a clothes line, characterised in that within its compartment the mast body (2, 2' 2") has an extensible clothes line supply (3, 11) which passes over at least one pulley (12, 13), the clothes line (4, 4' 4") emerging at the top end (5, 5', 5") of the mast from the compartment therein, and a locking device (21, 22) with a tensioning device for the extended clothes line (4, 4', 4") being provided in the region of said outlet.
2. Laundry dryer framework according to claim 1, characterised in that the tensioning device is self- locking.
3. Laundry dryer framework according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the clothes line (4") emerges eccentrically at the top end (5") of the mast body (2") and that at the centre of the mast head (5") there is arranged a clamping device (22') for the clothes line (4").
4. Laundry dryer framework according to claim 3, characterised in that the clamping device is constituted by an extension piece (22) which has an outer surface (22") which tapers conically towards the mast head surface (5").
5. Laundry dryer framework according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the clothes line (4') emerges centrically at the top end (5') of the mast body (2') and that eccentric to the centre of the mast head there is arranged a clamping device (21) for the clothes line (4').
6. Laundry dryer framework according to claim 5, characterised in that the clamping device is constituted by an extension piece (21) which protrudes upwardly from the mast head surface.
7. Laundry dryer framework according to claim 6, characterised in that the extension piece (21) is constituted by a cylindrical peg, the surface of which is serrated, roughened or similar.
8. Laundry dryer framework according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the top end (5, 5', 5") of the mast is rotatably mounted on the mast body (2, 2', 2^').
9. Laundry dryer framework according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the clothes line supply (11) passes, in the manner of a block and tackle, over at least two pulleys (12, 13), at least one of the pulleys (13) being suspended and drawn away from the top end of the mast by a weight (15) or by a spring.
