Abstract

152,931. Beardmore, F. April 8, 1920. Coiling and uncoiling clothes lines.-The post shown is made hollow for storing the clothes line, the line being withdrawn from the post when required for use. The post carries the pulleys c, d, to the lower set of which the weight f is secured, the line being wound around the pulleys. By means of the handle h the line is withdrawn and the weight raised. On the release of the line, the descent of the weight takes in the line.
