Description
The invention relates to a screen-like clothes dryer with a central standpipe, carried by a standpipe, hinged via an actuating mechanism expansion frame for the clothesline and arranged in a standpipe, tubular protective cover wherein the expansion frame arranged in a star shape, hinged to a lower sliding sleeve support arms for the clothesline and with the Support arms articulated connected, hinged to an upper sliding sleeve support arms, wherein at least the lower sliding sleeve along the standpipe slidably and in various positions on the standpipe is lockable, the tubular protective cover pulled out of the standpipe and pulled out at the top of the collapsed spreader together with folded spreader frame Clothesline can be pulled down to the lower sliding sleeve.
In order to make the tumble dryer ready for use, the lashing of the protective cover is first loosened, so that the weight falling downwards in the standpipe pulls off the cover, which is connected to it, from the folded spreading frame upwards. Subsequently, in the now exposed Spreizgestell a sliding sleeve associated Schnurzug is operated, which pulls up the lower sliding sleeve along the standpipe to the upper sliding sleeve and unfolds the expansion frame. In this case, when the expansion frame is folded to its maximum length, the cord pull pulled apart is shortened to about one fifth of this length. At the same time the hinged to the lower sliding sleeve, carrying the clothesline brackets are pivoted away from the standpipe in their working position and the knee joints formed by the support arms together with the support arms are bent. The lower sliding sleeve is pulled up with the help of the cord to the desired position and fixed in this by means of its locking mechanism on the standpipe. The fixed to the standpipe, lower sliding sleeve then holds the spreader in its unfolded position.
After use of the tumble dryer the fixation of the lower sliding sleeve is released, whereupon this slides along the standpipe down and the expansion frame collapses under extension of his knee joints in itself until its support and support arms run substantially vertically. Due to the collapsible spreader frame, the drawstring associated with the sliding sleeves is pulled apart again to its maximum length, and the pull cord length pulled out of it when actuated is drawn back into it. Then the protective cover to protect the clothesline is pulled over the folded spreader frame and lashed down below this on the standpipe.
The provided for unfolding the Spreizgestelles line train is built relatively expensive. It contains one of the lower sliding sleeve to the upper sliding sleeve reaching, a pulley corresponding section in which the pull cord is repeatedly reciprocated. This pulley section is pulled apart from the collapsing spreader frame to its maximum length, with the pull cord length actively pulled out of it during actuation of the cord puller being passively retracted again. The pulley section is shortened when pulling the cord by pulling on the pull cord to about one-fifth of this length to unfold the spreader. The case pulled out of the cord pull, relatively large Zugschnurlänge can cause problems when folding the Spreizgestelles when it is to be retracted passively in the pulley section without hindering the pulling of the pulley section and thus the automatic folding of the Spreizgestelles or block ,
The object of the invention is to provide an improved clothes dryer.
This is achieved according to the invention in a tumble dryer of the type mentioned that two adjacent and each provided with a handle brackets of Spreizgestelles are provided as an actuating mechanism for unfolding the Spreizgestelles and that provided on the two support arms with folded spreader under the over folded spreader rack together with clothesline cover are arranged protective cover.
This design simplifies production and operation of the tumble dryer. An attacking on the two sliding sleeves of Spreizgestelles string train can be omitted. This not only reduces the items of the tumble dryer to be manufactured and their assembly during assembly but also simplifies the use of the tumble dryer. When tumble dryer according to the invention, the spreading frame can remain unfolded for several weeks, without having to provide a large drawstring length during this time, as in the known provided with a drawstring spreader dryer, so that in this neither loops nor knots arise at the Folding the Spreizgestelles the pulling apart of the cord train and thus hinder the folding of the Spreizgestelles or could block.
When setting up the tumble dryer according to the invention first its standpipe in a anchored vertically oriented ground socket. Then the exposed spreader frame is pulled apart on two support arms provided with a handle. The support arms are pivoted about their arranged on the lower sliding sleeve pivot axes of the standpipe and pulled the lower sliding sleeve along the standpipe upwards. When the locking mechanism of the lower sliding sleeve engages at the desired location of the standpipe, the pulling apart or unfolding of the expansion frame is completed.
When supplying the raised tumble dryer for longer periods of disuse, the locking of the lower sliding sleeve is released and let the expansion frame collapse. Subsequently, the protective cover to protect the clothesline from the standpipe and pulled over the folded spreader frame. It also covers the arranged on the support arms handles and protected from wind, rain and pollution.
The handles can be formed on the support arms themselves and with these in one piece. The support arm may be provided with individual, lateral gripping projections. The gripping projections can be distributed over the length of the support arm. The support arm can be provided with a lateral longitudinal profiling, which corresponds to a handle extending over its entire length and allows the detection of the support arm at any point of its length. It can be the same design and all provided with a handle all support arms of Spreizgestelles. The handles can be integrated in the profile cross-section of the support arms.
If the support arms provided for pulling apart the expansion frame are each equipped with only one handle, it is preferably arranged in the upper half of the support arm in order to have a large, effective lever arm when the expansion frame is pulled apart.
The handle can be arranged on the outside of the support arm and be flattened at its upper end to the support arm, so as not to hinder the coating of the protective cover on the folded spreader.
The handle may be formed as a movable grip loop, which is pulled apart to pull the Spreizgestelles away from the arm and flattened before coating the protective sleeve on the support arm. This grip loop may be attached to the outside of the support arm or on one of its side surfaces.
The handle can be designed as a handle projecting laterally from the support arm, which projects into the open space between the adjacent support arms when the spreader frame is folded.
The handle can be designed as articulated on the support arm, fold-out handle.
