Definitions

  • the invention relates to a plastic container with a closure for its removal opening designed as a container socket, in which the closure engages over the end face of the container socket with a flange of a base part and is sealingly inserted into the container socket with a pipe lug provided with sealing lamellae, in which the container socket is outside with is provided an annular collar and in which the closure is held by means of a holding element on the container neck, which is supported on the flange of the closure and engages behind the collar of the container neck of the removal opening with an outer profile leg.
  • a container of this type designed as a bottle is known from BE-A 661 591.
  • the sealing lamellas seal between the tube extension of the closure and the inner wall of the container neck.
  • the closure is made of an elastic plastic.
  • the holding element is designed as a locking ring that snaps behind the collar of the container neck.
  • the retaining ring is partially supported on the flange of the Closure so that it is held in the removal opening of the container neck.
  • the locking ring covers an additional closure part which covers the through opening of the closure and which can be removed when part of the locking ring is pulled open.
  • the retaining ring retains its function as a holding element.
  • the holding element and the closure in this embodiment are unable to absorb large forces from the interior of the container, so that this type of closure and securing are only suitable for bottles with a small content.
  • the transfer of this known closure to larger containers with dangerous contents fails because this closure does not hold or at least leak when the internal pressure is high, as can occur, for example, when the container falls.
  • a closure for a container is known, the container neck of which is serrated on the outside and onto which a closure cap provided with corresponding counter-toothing is snapped on.
  • the closure cap also snaps onto a circumferential bulge of the container neck with a bead receptacle, and a locking ring surrounds the bead receptacle of the closure cap.
  • the cap is additionally secured on the container neck.
  • the cap is supported by a flange on a sealing collar on the end face of the container neck, the sealing being limited to a small annular gap. Since the closure cap has a certain intrinsic elasticity and, when internal pressure occurs, the sealing point is acted upon in the direction of opening the closure, a clear leakage protection of the container is achieved in the region of the closure, in particular for large containers.
  • the holding element is designed as a cross-sectionally L-shaped ring made of hard plastic or metal, which completely covers the flange with an axially normal profile leg, that the collar of the container neck of the removal opening is turned away from an axially normal collar surface has, and that the axially parallel profile leg of the ring is sawtooth-shaped on its inside, a flat flank facing away from the axially normal profile leg facilitates the placement of the ring on the closure inserted into the container neck and an axially normal flank when the ring is placed behind the collar surface of the federal government Container socket snaps into place.
  • the L-shaped ring holding element completely covers the flange of the closure and thus the end face of the container neck, so that in connection with the latching connection between the ring and the container neck the flange of the closure completely between the end face of the container neck and the axially normal Profile leg of the ring is clamped.
  • the sealing lamella of the closure which is made of elastic plastic and is molded onto the tube attachment, provides the clear sealing of the removal opening, even at high pressure in the plastic container, if this is deformed, for example, by impact.
  • an area of a plastic container 1 blown as a hollow body is shown broken off, the removal opening of which is delimited by a connector 2 of the container reinforced at the free end by a collar 3.
  • a base part 4 of a closure is pressed in such a way that its flange 5 lies firmly on the end face of the container neck 2 and the pipe extension 6 adjoining the flange 5 engages in the container neck 2, sealed by its elastic sealing lamellae. Since there is no anchoring behind the removal opening, it is also not necessary for the tube extension 6 to protrude inward beyond the container neck 2; it can be of the same length or shorter than the container neck.
  • a bellows 8 continues to connect to the flange and merges into an extendable pouring spout 9.
  • the pouring spout 9 is shown pressed into its initial position in the half-section shown on the left, while the opposite half-section reveals it to be pulled out into the removal position.
  • the external thread of the pouring spout 9 is encompassed by a threaded attachment 10 which is arranged on the top plate 11 of a screw cap 12.
  • the head disc is shown in the two half-cuts with different possible designs. After the right half-cut, it is first pulled upwards with an edge bead 13 arranged near the edge, for example in order to achieve the same height as a handle which facilitates the handling of the plastic container, so that when packaging, for example, boxes have the same height as the handle and Screw cap are supported cheaper.
  • a jacket 14a adjoins the edge bead 13 and is provided with a corrugation 15 to facilitate handling.
  • the head disc even after the half-cut shown on the left as a plate, for example of constant thickness, the edge region of which serves as a jacket 14b and is provided with a corresponding texture.
  • the pulling down of the jacket 14a increases the creepage distances offered by the container contents and thus permits clean handling which is not impaired by the container contents.
  • a wedge-shaped profiled ring shoulder 16 additionally seals against the inner wall of the pouring spout 9.
  • the attached base part 4 is held securely by an additional, U-shaped ring 17.
  • This ring overlaps with its upper leg 18 the flange 5, and with its lower leg 19 the lower collar surface 20 of the collar 3 of the container neck 2.
  • its lower leg 19 is sawtooth-shaped so that its flat flank 21st shows downwards, while the upper, steep flank 25, like the collar surface 20 of the collar 3, runs axially normal or slightly undercut.
  • the closure can either be supplied with a screw cap screwed on above the ring, so that when the closure is inserted, the tube insert 6 is inserted as well as the lower flank 21 of the ring 17 slides over the collar 3.
  • a chamfer 22 of the collar 3 which can optionally also be guided over the container neck 2 itself.
  • a chamfer 22 of the collar 3 which can optionally also be guided over the container neck 2 itself.
  • a relatively simple pressing on is achieved, while on the other hand an unintentional loosening due to the width of the collar surface 20 and the lower flank 21 in connection with the axially normal or undercut surfaces is practically impossible.
  • the invention is capable of a number of variants, and the closure shown can also be developed.
  • the screw cap can be equipped with elements that facilitate the pulling up of the pouring spout 9, such as, for example, brackets that can be pivoted about film hinges and have openings provided for engaging the fingers.
  • the closure will generally be additionally equipped with sealing devices. It has proven to be useful in this case to provide a sealing film which closes the pouring spout itself and can be removed by means of a tear strip ending in a handle, without the possible configurations being restricted by this information.
  • the base part of the closure will be made of relatively soft, elastic plastic, while the ring 17 is made of relatively hard plastic in order to achieve an unconditional, secure hold and to reliably prevent any evasion by external forces.
  • a plastic of medium hardness and to create the ring 17 in one piece with the base part so that the flange 5 simultaneously forms the upper leg 17 of the ring.
  • a harder plastic can also be used for this and the ring made in one piece with it; in such cases the protruding cantilever of the pouring opening can be achieved by a pouring tube which is displaceably guided in the base part.
  • a ring made of metal preferably a sheet metal formed or profiled, drawn and / or pressed, which engages behind the collar 3 for connecting the connecting piece 2 to a base part 4.
  • metal sheet of the existing ring is appropriately already profiled and pushed over the flange 5 and the collar 3 into place; the ring can have an essentially U-shaped profile, the upper leg of which adjoins the yoke forming the jacket at a right angle or at an angle which is only slightly below 90 °, while the lower leg is integrally formed on the yoke at an angle which is clearly below 90 ° is.
  • a base part 4 of a closure is placed on the plastic container 1, shown broken off in half section, the tube extension 6 of which engages in the socket 2 of the plastic container 1.
  • the tube extension 6 is provided with sealing lips 7, and at its inner, free end it has an annular reinforcement 23, which is able to absorb considerable forces even with the short length of the tube extension shown, without sealing strips 7 being excessively deformed and thus in their sealing effect are impaired.
  • the collar 3 of the socket 2 is not only overlapped by the flange 5 of the base part 4.
  • a pipe extension 24 connects to the flange, which grips around collar 3 to improve the seal. In order not to impair the locking effect of the ring 17, the tube extension 24 extends at most to the lower surface of the federal government 3, that is, only over a partial length of this federal government.
  • the screw cap can also be connected or equipped with securing elements that indicate an unauthorized removal.
