Abstract

La poutre précontrainte en treillis est en appui en plusieurs points (1, 2) de façon à former pour chaque travée, deux séries d'éléments (4a, 4b, 4c, ... 5a). Chaque élément comprend une membrure supérieure (6a) et une membrure inférieure (8a) en béton, reliées l'une à l'autre par des barres (10a, 11a, 12a) formant un N.
Les barres verticales (10a, 11a) sont disposées près des extrémités des membrures et résistent essentiellement aux efforts de traction. La troisième barre (12a) résiste aux efforts de compression et elle est montante dans le cas de la première série d'éléments (4a, 4b, ...) et descendante dans le cas de la deuxième série d'éléments (5a, ...) située au-delà d'un point M où les efforts tranchants sous charge permanente sont sensiblement nuls.
Utilisation notamment pour réaliser des ponts.
