Definitions
- the invention relates to an antenna combination according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such an antenna combination is known from DE-AS 2 410 498.
- the object of the invention is to shorten the overall length of the antenna combination even further, without undesired coupling between the dipole antenna and the logarithmic-periodic antenna occurring.
- the dipole antenna can be a dipole antenna with two arms as elements, two brackets as elements or a combination dipole antenna for different frequencies.
- the antenna combination according to the exemplary embodiment has a logarithmic-periodic antenna 2 for a higher frequency range.
- This log-periodic antenna 2 is connected to a double line 4, 6, which is formed by two parallel sheets.
- Elements 8, 10 are attached to these sheets on both sides by means of common punchings.
- the elements 8 on the line 4 are offset from one another by half a division with respect to the elements 10 on the line 6.
- the elements 8, 10 are bent twice so that they lie in a common plane over most of their length.
- the free end of the line 6 is provided with a bent-up tab 12 which keeps a distance from the free end of the line 4.
- the bent tab 12 is connected to the central conductor 14 of a coaxial cable 16, the jacket of which is encompassed by a clamp 18 at the free end of the line 4.
- the coaxial cable 16 serves to supply transmission energy when using the antenna combination as a transmitting antenna and to dissipate receiving energy when using the antenna combination as a receiving antenna.
- the double line 4, 6 is via a symmetrical line 20 to cross struts 22, 24 of - in this case - bow-shaped elements 26, 28 of a dipole antenna 30 for a lower, from the higher frequency range of the log-periodic antenna 2 connected frequency range separated by a frequency gap.
- the longitudinal struts of the brackets 26, 28 run parallel to the elements 8, 10.
- the dipole antenna 30 is arranged directly next to the longest elements 8 max, 10 max of the logarithmic-periodic antenna 2.
- the characteristic impedance of the symmetrical line 20 no longer deviates by more than ⁇ 50% from the characteristic impedance of the double line 4, 6 and is preferably at least approximately equal to this characteristic impedance.
- the length of the symmetrical line 20 is at least 1/4 of the longest wavelength of the higher frequency range and is preferably at least approximately equal to this wavelength.
- the ends of the double line 4, 6 which are initially located in the dipole antenna 30 are connected to a high-pass filter 34 which is closed off by a resistor 32.
- the high-pass filter 34 is also constructed in a known manner from four capacitors and one inductor. The structure of the high pass 34 can, however, also be designed in a different manner to suit the prevailing conditions.
- the antenna combination according to the invention is distinguished by the fact that it has a particularly small overall length, that the log-periodic antenna 2 is very well decoupled from the dipole antenna 30, that it is inexpensive to manufacture and that it has a relatively small volume.
- the results obtained correspond to those of the individually constructed antennas, that is to say in the present case an individually constructed logarithmic-periodic antenna and an individually constructed dipole antenna.

Description
- Fig. 1 zeigt die Antennen-Kombination in Aufsicht ;
