Definitions
- the invention relates to a hood top for freight wagons and containers, which consists of at least two hoods and a central portal, the hoods being formed by two hood parts, which can be spread out from a common plane via actuating devices arranged in the roof area and in the base area and on one on each longitudinal side of the Undercarriage arranged common track are slidable.
- a hood top according to EP 0 011 195 is known, in which the hood parts are supported against one another in the roof area by means of horizontal spreading levers with rollers and lead individually as a sliding wall to release a quarter of the loading area and in pairs as a hood to release half of the loading area and are moved longitudinally the butt edges in the middle of the roof move apart when opened with a lift.
- This solution has the disadvantage that the actuating mechanism of the horizontal spreading levers in the roof area, coupled with the pivoting mechanism on both sides in the underframe area, must be guided and arranged above and within the two half-hood parts, which leads to a complicated and susceptible mechanism and to increasing the overall height of the hood parts and thus to loss leads from hold.
- the sliding wall operation in the roof area requires the actuation mechanism to be able to be disengaged and an additional locking of the hood part which remains closed with the end wall, which leads to increased construction and operating expenditure.
- Another disadvantage is that the longitudinal edges of the roof are separated from one another when they are opened and raised at the same time. This makes it necessary to use rubber lip seals, for example, or to use labyrinth seals with only slight overlap. This has the disadvantage of freezing the rubber lips in winter operation, which leads to damage. The use of small labyrinths leads to sealing problems in rain and flying snow.
- a hood top according to DE 3 122 410 is also known, in which the hood parts of one side of the car are guided in an additional swivel frame and are pivoted laterally outwards with this frame when loaded from above.
- the opposite hood parts can be operated independently of each other, there is the disadvantage of the necessity of the separate running over the entire length of the car Swing frame, which requires additional effort, extra weight and additional operation.
- the aim of the invention is to create a technically developed and economically improved hood top while avoiding the disadvantages described. It is also an object of the invention to improve the sealing of the longitudinal joint.
- the invention has for its object to develop a hood top for freight wagons and containers, which can be opened by reducing the work of a central roof ridge by independently working hood parts and thereby simplifies the operating process for the opening and closing process and the movement sequence of the hood parts is designed so that labyrinth seals with higher degrees of tightness can be used on the longitudinal roof joint.
- each hood part on the front wall and on the center portal are assigned pivotable actuating levers in the vertical plane via a common drive
- the actuating lever arranged on the center portal is assigned a guide roller which is continuously connected to a longitudinal guide of the hood part
- the actuating lever arranged on the end wall with a connecting lever is assigned a guide funnel in which the end piece of the longitudinal guide can be received via preferably double hemispherical rollers and that the abutting edges of the roof end profiles have a horizontal range of motion when opening begins, which is equal to or greater than the labyrinth depth and pass into an increasing range of motion during the further opening process.
- a gear ratio of preferably 1: 1.5 is present between the drive of the lower actuating lever and the upper actuating lever.
- the actuating levers have a system length through which the hood parts with their center of gravity can be locked almost vertically above the running rail in the spread position.
- the lower actuating levers connected by the drive shaft stand approximately vertically below the drive shaft in the closed position of the hood parts and carry a pivotable running rail piece which has a circular running rail head which is arranged in a substantially quarter-circular profile.
- a track piece connected to the track housing closes the opening in the track.
- the hood parts can be guided in their horizontal range of motion via guide pins in horizontal closing guides arranged on the front wall and the central portal and can be locked in the closed position. Additional support feet are arranged between the roller feet of the hood parts, which, in the closed position, are braced against the base frame carrier by hook parts arranged on the drive shaft. Further, the roof closure profile, the stringers and the Vertikalspanten of the support system of the hood parts are formed as hollow support in a known manner, wherein the D a chabschlußprofil over the stringers and vertical frames have a two to three times greater profile height and width, and preferably triple labyrinth profiles with ridge deflectors, drip noses and guide bars are arranged on the abutting edge of the roof end profile.
- the hood top of the freight car consists of two hoods 1, which are formed from two hood parts 2 and 4 on the end walls 3 and the central portal.
- the hood parts 2 of a carriage side can be moved in the spread position 2a on a common running rail 5, which is fastened to the underframe 6, by means of two running rollers 7 each with a running roller housing 8 and running roller feet 9.
- additional support feet 10 are arranged on the hood part 2, which are located behind the common running rail 5 and are acted upon by the drive shaft 11 and movable hook parts in the closed position with tension against the underframe connecting rod 12.
- the lower actuating lever 13 is pivoted out by the drive shaft 11 and, via the drive 14, the upper actuating lever 15 with the connecting lever 16 is swung out, thus bringing the half-hood part 2 into the spread position 2a.
- a drive ratio of the drive 14 of approx. 1: 1.5 and the system lengths of the actuating levers 13 and 15 ensure that the hood part 2 is pivoted outward until the vertical system line of the center of gravity comes to a stop approximately above the running rail 5.
- the hood part 2 thus spanned can be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the carriage by a guide roller 17 arranged on the upper connecting lever 16 of the center portal 4 and a longitudinal guide 18 arranged on the hood part 2, and by means of the roller 17 and running rail 5, the hood part 2 with the end piece 19 having a double hemispherical roller 20 a guide funnel 21 of the actuating lever 15 arranged on the end wall disengages with the connecting lever 16.
- the outer structure of the guide funnel 21 corresponds to the circular arc of the expected unscrewing movement of the hood part 2.
- the connecting lever 16 is secured on all sides in the open position on the end wall 3 by the holder 22.
- the hood part 2 can be pushed over the front edge of the center portal 4 in the fully pushed-on position, which leads to the protection of the sensitive component, which is generally made of aluminum, during loading work.
- the lower pivoting movement of the hood part 2 can be carried out in a circular arc from below the pivot point of the drive shaft 11 to the horizontal position of the lower actuating lever 13, which in connection with the arrangement of the upper actuation and the support there of the hood part 2 via the two levers 15 and 16 and the resulting tipping point about the longitudinal guide 15, the upper abutting edges 23 of the hood part 2 a guide track 24 described, which in the initial phase has a horizontal area that is greater than the horizontal labyrinth depth 25 and then changes into an increase to achieve the raising of the hood part 2.
- roller feet 9 and the roller housing 8 are moved in horizontal guides or curved tracks, for example driven by levers of the drive shaft 11, in order to achieve the pivoting movement of the lower wall parts.
- a closing guide 29 is arranged for each hood part 2 on the end walls 3 and on the central portal 4, in which guide pins 30 of the hood parts 2 engage on all sides in the closed position.
- the rollers 7 of the hood parts 2 rest in the closed position on a pivotable running rail piece 31 of the running rail 5, which is moved via the drive shaft 11 and the lower operating lever 13.
- the interrupted running rail 5 is filled by an upper running rail piece 32, which is fastened to the running roller housing 8 and, when the hood part 2 is pivoted out, frees up the space for the pivoting running rail piece 31.
- the hood part 2 is locked in the closed position by the running track piece 31 and by an anti-lifting device 33.
- the cross section of the pivotable L rail piece 31 consists of a circular rail head 34 and an underneath it, corresponding to the anti-lift device 33 corresponding to a quarter-circular profile 35, so that the free movement of the rollers 7 and the effectiveness of the anti-lift devices 33 is given in both end positions.
- For support and horizontal locking of the hoods Parts 2 in the closed position are provided on the base frame 6 correspondingly bevelled wall supports 36 with counterparts 37 on the hood parts 2.
- the height of the roof end profile 38 preferably also vertical main torsion frames two to three times the height the longitudinal frames 39 and vertical frames 40 of the rest of the support system. This has the advantage of a slight deformation of the spread-out hood part 2 in the event of wind and snow loads and a reliable function of the engagement and disengagement in the guide funnel 21 of the end wall actuation.
- optimal room design is achieved, particularly with regard to the inner carriage width.
- a hood top is created , which ensures high functional reliability and simple operation with little effort.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a hood top for freight wagons and containers, which consists of at least two hoods and a central portal, the hoods being formed by two hood parts, which can be spread out from a common plane via actuating devices arranged in the roof area and in the base area and on one on each longitudinal side of the Undercarriage arranged common track are slidable.
A hood top according to EP 0 011 195 is known, in which the hood parts are supported against one another in the roof area by means of horizontal spreading levers with rollers and lead individually as a sliding wall to release a quarter of the loading area and in pairs as a hood to release half of the loading area and are moved longitudinally the butt edges in the middle of the roof move apart when opened with a lift. This solution has the disadvantage that the actuating mechanism of the horizontal spreading levers in the roof area, coupled with the pivoting mechanism on both sides in the underframe area, must be guided and arranged above and within the two half-hood parts, which leads to a complicated and susceptible mechanism and to increasing the overall height of the hood parts and thus to loss leads from hold. In addition, the sliding wall operation in the roof area requires the actuation mechanism to be able to be disengaged and an additional locking of the hood part which remains closed with the end wall, which leads to increased construction and operating expenditure.
Another disadvantage is that the longitudinal edges of the roof are separated from one another when they are opened and raised at the same time. This makes it necessary to use rubber lip seals, for example, or to use labyrinth seals with only slight overlap. This has the disadvantage of freezing the rubber lips in winter operation, which leads to damage. The use of small labyrinths leads to sealing problems in rain and flying snow.
It was further proposed to use a combined spreading hood sliding wall system by interposing a pivoting ridge beam between the two hood parts. This system also has the disadvantage of an additional locking of the hood part not to be opened during sliding wall operation and the decoupling of the lower spreading mechanism on both sides, which also leads to additional expenditure. Both of the aforementioned solutions have the common disadvantage that to release half of the loading area, both opposite hood parts have to be moved together as a hood, which leads to increased effort for the operating personnel and, due to the failure to inspect the opposite side, increases the risk of accidents. A hood top according to
The aim of the invention is to create a technically developed and economically improved hood top while avoiding the disadvantages described. It is also an object of the invention to improve the sealing of the longitudinal joint.
The invention has for its object to develop a hood top for freight wagons and containers, which can be opened by reducing the work of a central roof ridge by independently working hood parts and thereby simplifies the operating process for the opening and closing process and the movement sequence of the hood parts is designed so that labyrinth seals with higher degrees of tightness can be used on the longitudinal roof joint.
According to the invention the object is achieved in that each hood part on the front wall and on the center portal are assigned pivotable actuating levers in the vertical plane via a common drive, in that the actuating lever arranged on the center portal is assigned a guide roller which is continuously connected to a longitudinal guide of the hood part That the actuating lever arranged on the end wall with a connecting lever is assigned a guide funnel in which the end piece of the longitudinal guide can be received via preferably double hemispherical rollers and that the abutting edges of the roof end profiles have a horizontal range of motion when opening begins, which is equal to or greater than the labyrinth depth and pass into an increasing range of motion during the further opening process. A gear ratio of preferably 1: 1.5 is present between the drive of the lower actuating lever and the upper actuating lever. The actuating levers have a system length through which the hood parts with their center of gravity can be locked almost vertically above the running rail in the spread position.
According to a further feature of the invention, the lower actuating levers connected by the drive shaft stand approximately vertically below the drive shaft in the closed position of the hood parts and carry a pivotable running rail piece which has a circular running rail head which is arranged in a substantially quarter-circular profile. In the closed position, a track piece connected to the track housing closes the opening in the track.
The hood parts can be guided in their horizontal range of motion via guide pins in horizontal closing guides arranged on the front wall and the central portal and can be locked in the closed position.

As can be seen from the drawings Fig. 1 to 3, the hood top of the freight car consists of two
The connecting
As can be seen from the drawing Fig. 6, the lower pivoting movement of the
In the lower actuation described, the
Due to the completely independent operation of the
