Definitions
- the invention relates to a boiler housing according to the preamble of the main claim.
- Boiler housings of the type mentioned are generally known.
- the cover plate is sealed by a relatively high frame welded to the front wall of the boiler, which presses against an asbestos cord arranged on the cover plate, which is arranged there between the thermal insulation block and a small delimitation web.
- the exhaust gases can reach the welded frame largely unhindered by the gap between the thermal insulation block and the combustion chamber necessary for the pivoting of the sealing cover, so that condensate can form on the inside of the frame and destroy the frame.
- a considerable amount of heat is radiated through the frame, which is not insulated from the outside, and the thermal insulation block sitting on the cover plate is exposed to the risk of damage since it is practically free.
- the innovation is accordingly based on the object of designing a boiler housing of the type mentioned in the front wall area in such a way that the exhaust gases are kept away from the critical sealing area and thereby condensate formation and heat radiation in this area are largely prevented with the proviso that the thermal insulation block is largely protected against damage.
- the front wall of the boiler housing in question has two or more openings, there is of course nothing to prevent a corresponding number of thermal insulation blocks and sealing webs from being arranged on a cover plate in accordance with the number of openings arranged in the front wall.
- the front wall 5 of the boiler housing is provided with a sealing cover, which is formed from a cover plate 1 with a heat insulating block 2 arranged on the inside and protruding into a front wall opening 6.
- a sealing web 3 which encompasses the flanks 12 of the thermal insulation block 2 and is pressed with its end edge 4 against the seal 7 arranged on the front wall 5 and surrounding the front wall opening 6.
- the thermal insulation block 2 is largely seated with its entire height within the circular sealing web 3, and in a further development is advantageously sealed with a further seal 8 with respect to the sealing web 3 itself, in order thereby to remove the conical gap between the thermal insulation block 2 and also seal off sealing web 3.
- the seal 7 essential for the overall seal is no longer seated on the cover plate 1 itself as before, but rather at a relatively large distance from it directly on the front wall 5 itself, which expediently has a front wall opening edge 9 and a larger front wall opening web 10, which is quite with respect to the overall spatial arrangement can have the width B shown.
- a circumferential step 11 is formed in the thermal insulation block 2 from the outset, which, as can be seen, forms an annular groove with the sealing web 3, in which the seal 8 is arranged as a further seal.
- the front wall opening 6 in FIG. 1 is, for example, the combustion chamber opening of the boiler housing.
- a closure cover is shown in FIGS. 2, 3 and a front wall 5 of a boiler housing which has two front wall openings 6, the lower opening being the combustion chamber opening and the upper opening being a cleaning opening.
- the rectangular cover plate 1 is provided with two corresponding heat insulation blocks 2 and two sealing webs 3 surrounding these insulation blocks, but the same design principle being implemented for each opening closure as described for FIG. 1.
- the cover plate construction described also has the advantage, of course, that the thermal insulation block 2 is largely protected from damage.

Abstract
Description
- Fig. 1 einen Teilschnitt durch das Heizkesselgehäuse im Bereich der Vorderwand;
- Fig. 3 eine Ansicht der Deckelplatte gemäß Fig. 2 in Pfeilrichtung A.
