Definitions
- the invention relates to a coin guide, in particular for machines which perform a service after inserting coins, e.g. mediate a telephone connection, deliver goods, or be implemented as a money changer, issue coins.
- Such machines are subject to willful malfunctions and damage to property, which can be gross nonsense or result from manipulations that attempt to achieve the machine's performance without inserting coins beforehand, or to allow coins previously inserted by third parties or even coins already collected by the machine gain.
- a foreign body in particular, for example, a folded piece of paper, is pushed into the coin channel, which, when third parties subsequently insert coins, is pushed further and further in the coin channel.
- attempts are also made to push the foreign body as far as possible into the coin channel by means of a wire, a thin, elastic saw blade or other aids so that a lot of coins accumulate. Later an attempt is then made to get the coins out of the coin channel using such aids.
- the invention solves the problem of creating a coin guide in which introduced foreign bodies do not lead to blockages, the insertion of aids of the type mentioned is unsuccessful, and damage caused by such aids is practically avoided.
- the coin guide shown has, in three zigzag consecutive track sections, a track surface 1, 2 or 3 with a gradient that supports the coins. Each of these track surfaces is assigned a steep guide surface 4, 5 or 6 which supports the coins on one side.
- the slope of the web surfaces 1, 2, 3 and the steepness of the guide surfaces 4, 5, 6 are dimensioned such that the coins roll on the web surfaces and slide on the guide surfaces 4, 5, 6.
- the first web section with the web surface 1 starts from the coin insertion slot (not shown) and is directed onto an impact surface 8.
- the web surface 1 is formed by the upper surface of a strip-shaped extension 10 on the front side of a plate 11 in the viewing direction I and partly by the upper end surface of a triangular projection 12 of the plate 11 lying in its plane.
- a part of the front of the plate 11, which has a distance from the baffle surface 8 that exceeds the coin diameter, is assigned to the web surface 1 as a guide surface 4.
- a section of the web surface 1 starting from the coin insertion has a guide edge 13 opposite the guide surface 4.
- the second web section with the web surface 2 leads a coin, which has rebounded on the impact surface 8, into a calming chamber 15.
- the web surface 2 is passed through the upper surface of a strip-shaped extension 17 is formed on the lower edge of the triangular projection 12 on the back of the plate 11, the front of a second plate 19 is assigned to it as a guide surface 5.
- the third web section with the web surface 3 starts from the calming chamber 15 and leads between the coils 20 (FIG. 1) and 21 (FIG. 2) of a coin validator (not shown further) to the end of the coin guide, at which the coins pass to one not shown , coin ditches controlled by the coin validator fall down.
- the web surface 3 is formed by the upper end face of a plate 23 which is attached to the front of a plate 24.
- the front surface of the plate 23 is assigned to the web surface 3 as a guide surface 6.
- the three plates 11, 19 and 24 are kept parallel in each case in the width of the web surfaces 1, 2 and 3 adapted distances.
- the plate 24 is fixed, arranged steeply.
- the plates 11 and 19 are pivotally connected to the plate 24 about an axis 26.
- the plate 19 is held at a distance of the web surface width from the plate 24 by its lower part abutting the plate 23, and the plate 11 is kept at a distance of the web surface width from the plate 19 by partially abutting the plate 19.
- the plate 24 has an extension 27 above the axis 26 which engages in front of the plate 19 and in the rest position of the plates 11 and 19 is at a distance therefrom in order to take the plate 19 with it when the plate 11 is pivoted through a certain angle and then is pivoted further.
- the baffle 8 is formed by one side of a rib 32 projecting from the front of the plate 19.
- the rib 32 together with a rib 33, delimits a channel 34 for the connecting lines of the coin validator coil 20.
- the calming chamber 15 is delimited at the front by the back of the plate 11 and at the back by the front of the plate 24 and has two bottom surface parts 35 and 36 at the bottom.
- the bottom surface part 35 adjoins the web surface 2, lies in its plane and is projecting towards the rear Part of the strip-shaped projection 10 of the plate 11 is formed, which extends to the level of the back of the second plate 19.
- the bottom surface part 36 lies in the plane of the web surface 3, adjoins this and is formed on the upper surface of a projection on the back of the plate 11 and abuts the front of the plate 24.
- the projection could also only extend to the level of the rear side of the second plate 19, the upper end face of an extension of the plate 23 being able to form the rear part of the surface 36.
- the steepness of the guide surfaces 4, 5, 6 can be 70 ° and the slope of the track surfaces 1, 2, 3 can be 20 °.
- the angle between the web surface 1, 2 or 3 and the guide surface 4, 5 or 6 assigned to it and the angle between the bottom surface parts 35 and 36 of the calming chamber 15 are expediently somewhat smaller than 90 ° so that the coins slide reliably on the guide surfaces 4, 5 and 6 and just as reliably from the web surface 1 to the web surface 2 and in the calming chamber 15 to the rear onto the web surface 3 and to the Guide surface 6 fall.
- these angles can be, for example, 80 to 85 °.
- the slope of the web surface 3 is to be dimensioned such that the coins pass between the coils 35 and 36 of the coin validator at a speed that ensures reliable coin validation.
- the slopes of web surfaces 1, 2 and 3 need not be the same or opposite to one another, and the calming chamber could also be designed so that the slope at the entrance is not opposite to that at the exit.
- the embodiment described with reference to the drawing is favorable in terms of space utilization.
- a probe 38 e.g. the only indicated induction probe and has the effect that a slide provided between the insertion slot and the coin guide closes the insertion slot and keeps it closed until the coin check is complete.
- the coin hits the baffle 8 and bounces back from it. Because it is no longer guided by the guide surface 4, it falls on the web surface 2, on which it is guided laterally by the guide surface 5 up to the calming chamber 15. In the calming chamber 15, the coin comes to rest briefly in a position in which it is supported by the bottom surface part 35 and the front part of the bottom surface part 36 adjoining it.

Abstract
Description
- Fig. 1 eine Münzführung in Blickrichtung I in Fig. 2 und 3,
